Fantastic experience: I took extra driving practice — about 12 hours over 6 sessions — with Ricardo, and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Ricardo had a great attitude, paid close attention to detail, and gave clear, thoughtful instructions throughout each lesson. What stood out most was his patience. At one point, I accidentally drove over a sidewalk and ended up with a flat tire — a moment that could have been very stressful — but Ricardo stayed calm and reassuring, which really helped ease my nervousness. As an adult learner in my 40s who never fully trusted myself behind the wheel, I was amazed by how much confidence I gained through his guidance. Thanks to his patience and perseverance, I was able to learn and master skills I never thought I could. I truly appreciate his professionalism and support — highly recommended!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I’m truly glad to hear that our lessons made a positive impact for you. I always aim to be patient, calm, and clear in my guidance, so it means a lot to know that those qualities helped you feel more comfortable and confident — even during a stressful moment like the flat tire.
Seeing you build trust in yourself behind the wheel, especially as an adult learner, was genuinely rewarding. Your progress was the result of your own dedication, and I’m grateful I had the opportunity to support you along the way.
Thank you again for your thoughtful words and recommendation. I’m proud of everything you accomplished, and I wish you many safe and confident drives ahead!

Negative experience: A disorganized and unempathetic business that punishes students for life circumstances — without warning. I completed my 30-hour classroom course with Gregg’s Driving School in 2019, before starting college in NYC. I didn’t finish my in-car driving lessons at the time because they had no availability — something I now see many other reviewers have complained about, especially in summer. Now, years later, after surviving college, a cross-state move, and helping care for my critically ill father, I reached out to finally finish what I started — only to be told my records were completely deleted and I’d need to start over from scratch and pay full price again. This would be frustrating enough on its own — but here’s what makes it worse: Their own website states that students who don’t finish in 18 months can pay a pro-rated amount to complete the rest. At no point does it mention that records are deleted after three years or that restarting would be required. There was no email, no phone call, no warning — just a cold, dismissive policy hidden from public view. This is not just a failure of communication — it’s a failure of care. I understand there are state laws around course timing, but Gregg’s owes it to students to be transparent about what happens after the 18-month window and what deadlines actually result in full resets. For adult learners, returning students, and anyone without a “perfect” timeline — this school offers no flexibility, no empathy, and no accountability. Look elsewhere.
Negative experience: Fire Anthony Adegbesan.
Negative experience: Mr. Anthony at this Crofton location was horrible !!! My daughter came back from 2nd lesson with tears in her eye, and I was shamed by Anthony, because my daughter had only 10 hours driving time since November. My daughter does get home at 4:00 and I leave for work at 5:00 7 days a week. We practice when we can on weekend mornings. Absolutely no need to shame me and make my daughter driving experience horrific!! I wished I read the reviews first. It is true Anthony at this location is a nightmare!
Negative experience: If I could give this place zero stars I would, the two men who work in this office are rude and condescending. I had one man quiz me on American history and got upset when I decided not to play along. I had my instructor his name is Anthony laugh at me when I messed up my parking job ONCE and when we at an intersection he told me to go when another car was about to go. Had I listened to him I would have crashed into another car. He told me stopping for 3 seconds or more at a stop sign is not a real thing you need to do even though it’s on the MARYLAND DRIVERS TEST and they will fail you if you do not stop for more 3 seconds or more. They also told me I could not be on my phone when I was at the office and tried to yell at me for using my phone when we were in the building. Do not take your drive times here. It’s a waste of your time and waste of a driving experience.
