Negative experience: I had a very positive experience initially, but came across a very frustrating experience recently. My son‘s driving lesson was scheduled and he was hardly three minutes late. The policy says he should be there within 10 minutes of the schedule time. The instructor was not in the office and we were waiting in the car. He walked around 10 minutes later and told us we are late!!! He asked the neighboring business about the time we came And that person did say you are on time. He went on to mock my son that his clock did not work Correctly. He gave the toll-free number to reschedule the class and there are no classes for next one month. The customer support doesn’t Work during the time the lesson is scheduled and it is impossible to reach customer support. Top driver should not have such unethical instructors who lie and mock at students. Update 13.Mar.2025: There was no fee taken out. I am yet to get any call from your regional office though I was told someone will call me within 5 days. My son got a reschedule last weekend . But no one called me yet to answer on the impolite behavior and about the poor customer support service.

Negative experience: DO NOT COME HERE! Worst customer service experience in my life. For context, I only wanted to do Behind the Wheel since that is the only portion I needed (I completed the Classroom portion beforehand at my high school). I paid $500, was there for about 4-5 days, everyday I was asking the supervisor how I can only do the Behind the Wheel portion and not the Classroom one. They kept stalling me the entire time, only telling me that they needed to ask the Oswego location manager. How does the Oswego location manager have anything to do with this? Then, on the last day I was there, they told me to just contact customer service. Couldn't they have just told me that the first day I was there? Yes of course, but they needed to stall me for more days so they wouldn't have to refund. After I called customer service, they said they wouldn't refund at all. I didn't even learn anything new in those 4-5 days, it was all common sense (ex: don't drink and drive). They scammed me of $500 and refused to refund. Also, the overall class is terrible, the supervisor just sits there most of the class period and they play outdated videos from like 2008 for 2/3 of the time. Also the room is extremely freezing cold, it's so cramped to the point nobody has personal space, and the bathroom is dirty. It's overpriced, staff are lazy or rude or will stall you, customer service is horrible, and the actual education is not worth the money. Additionally, when I emailed customer service about only doing Behind the Wheel, they asked me to show proof that I passed the Classroom portion at school. I gave them proof, I showed them multiple screenshots of my grade to show I passed. Then they asked for proof of the final grade passing, I sent a screenshot of that too. They didn't believe me, saying it is not "valid proof" (literal screenshots from StudentVUE...) and made me email my teacher to get a teacher's note stating I passed. Then I had to go back and forth emailing my teacher to get the note and etc. Also throughout this entire endeavor they were being rude and I did not feel welcome at all. Honestly just go to any other location or company like Excel Driving School or the Naperville location for Top Driver because this one is terrible.

Negative experience: When taking the course I brought in requested information to their location and they failed to communicate that the location would not provide it to the proper channels and that I would need to email there customer service directly in order to get the certificate of completion
