Fantastic experience: I'm usually the one who gets hiccups or doesn't pass a test on the first try, but Ride Chicago totally changed that for me! It was such a great experience and really helped me break my streak of bad luck while boosting my confidence in what I’ve learned. A big shoutout to Rachel and Kevin: Rachel was so warm and welcoming – her positive vibe made everyone smile and feel at ease. She shared amazing tips on how to stay safe while riding confidently. Kevin is such a goofball, always bringing great energy throughout the training. Plus, his spot-on advice really helped me sharpen my riding skills!

Fantastic experience: Took this class because of riding a sports bike and needed a lot of info. Instructors are cool af and go through everything to get you ready for the test. They recognize people who need more help and are very patient. I recommend this class to anyone trying to get their M class

Fantastic experience: Best motorcycle riding course in Illinois. They won’t mislead you like MSF does, they take the time to teach good technique that you’ll need after you take it outside the parking lot (for example, dragging the rear brake to turn smoother and braking before clutching in - they explain why too).

Fantastic experience: Nice laid back instructors and experienced. They gave me advice with a scenario in traffic that I had recently had an accident prior to taking the class. Highly recommend this school.

Fantastic experience: I just had to leave a review, even though I had to pull out from the course halfway. Simply put, the instructors are great, attentive, and exactly what anyone learning anything about motorcycles will need. Overloading my own schedule is the only reason I'm unfortunately not in class while typing this, but I definitely don't regret the cost, and would absolutely take any course under their instruction.

Fantastic experience: I am a beginner and had very minimal experience on motorbikes. Recently finished a private lesson with instructor jay at ride Chicago. He explained all the details in a very clear manner and corrected my mistakes immediately. The private lesson was totally worth it and it was a great learning experience. Highly recommended.

In this course we not only learned about our bikes, road rules and what to expect on the riding test but also safety stuff. My class had riders with varying experiences and everyone was super welcoming. All the instructors I had were professional, experienced, reassuring and so so patient. Fantastic experience: I just finished my Basic Motorcycle Class for the weekend of July 8th-9th. The instructors were great. They had a lot of pointers and tips for riding safety and efficiency. Also, they were patient in the teaching process.

Fantastic experience: Great school for beginners that want to teach how to ride a motorcycle. Instructors are a great help and take you trough all the necessary basics and trough the actual state test as well. You get to practice trough the test area and really get a knowledge and necessary experience on how to pass the exam.

Fantastic experience: Great instructors. Well worth the money to do it in the city ASAP as opposed to doing it way out in Carbondale for free with the state. I was confident I could've taught myself but I'm glad that I started off learning better habits here. Highly recommended if you can't get a spot in the Joliet or another nearby state run course.

Fantastic experience: I had only been on a bike maybe 4-5 times before the class and was very nervous about getting on the street. After the first day, my confidence was much higher and after the second day I felt confident I could pass the licensing test. Definitely worth the money for a new rider to get comfortable and proficient!

Fantastic experience: Great class whether your a brand new rider or just using it as a refresher. Instructors (Kevin, Carl, Jay and Ian) were very friendly and easy to talk to and paid attention to each student, taking the time to give customized feedback on how to improve. Drills that we practiced focused on both skills necessary to pass the state test but also real world skills that will help while actually riding. Definitely recommend and very easy to schedule.

Fantastic experience: This may be the best use of money I've used in the last few years. 2 days to go from a person that always thought riding motorcycles would be cool to being able to learn how to safely use one? There isn't possibly a better way to do this. Even when you have the asset of a friend or family member wanting or willing to teach you, these guys have and use cones! Definitely do it if you were at all wondering if you should. The instructions are friendly and very helpful. I wouldn't do it again because I won't need to but I'd absolutely certainly recommend it to anyone on the fence.

I have taken an MSF course before and learned quite a bit but the instruction from those gentleman really made a difference in my confidence on a bike. Great job guys!

Fantastic experience: Was nervous as hell when I first got on the bike but my two instructors Jay and Tim made it seem like there was nothing to be afraid of, and no matter what kind of riding experience you have anybody can ride a motorcycle. I know it's a more expensive way to get your license but I would recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I’ve always wanted to learn how to ride a motorcycle but was nervous on how to start. A friend recommended Ride Chicago and I am really happy I made the choice to take the basic motorcycle class. The instructors Tim, Kevin and Paco were really attentive, patient and knowledgeable. After the second day I feel like I am in a great position to get my Illinois motorbike license and get on with the journey! I will be taking the intermediate class after I buy my bike. Both my instructors (Steve, Kati)e will teach you what you need to hear but not what you want to hear. But overall the experience was great and had fun.

Fantastic experience: Kevin & Cody/Tim were excellent instructors - intelligent, informative, &, above all, patient! We had a smaller class and they made sure to pay attention to everyone's particular errors and assisted everyone in correcting their technique & safety methods. They're even stellar administrators as they confirmed our class completion so quickly afterwards, I was approved for the license exam immediately following the course. They also have a wealth of motorcycle knowledge. Wonderful work guys, thanks again!

Fantastic experience: Totally worth the money that you pay for basic motorcycle classes! Instructors are very nice and friendly! They teach you very well! They set up the exercises very organized. If some Instructors see that you are struggling alittle bit they offer free classes for you to learn better! My sunglasses dropped during one of the exercises and one of the Instructors picked it up and saved it for me! That was nice of him! Overall definitely 5 stars!

My knowledge of motorcycle operation has increased and definitely feel more confident after the 2nd day. It feels like a necessary step before deciding to buy and ride a bike in the street. I'll likely return for advanced riding techniques with my own motorcycle in the future.

Fantastic experience: If you haven't yet please take an actual riding course, it's a must to really learn to ride accurately. If you do I recommend Ride Chicago. The instructors are very informative and patient with beginners. Nothing I would change other than the hot sun lol.

Negative experience: I paid over $300.00 for nothing! I took this class a few months ago. For a beginner I was a little nervous but the main lead instructor didn't exude patience and even asked if I could ride a bike?!. The other instructors were nice. It was only halfway into the class they had me to stop, pulled me over and asked I signup for spring. That instructor was nice about it but it's not a class for if you're a complete beginner. I emailed back and no response. Very dissapointed in this place. I will try either fullerton location or Harper where it's on 20 bucks.

They made it easy by providing helmets, gloves and bikes. It was also really convenient to have tested through Ride Chicago, as opposed to going through the DMV. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My experience at Ride Chicago was a pleasant one! The instructors really take the time to make you comfortably with riding on a bike and will go out of their way to help those who are struggling in class. They are experienced in motorcycling and can answer all of your questions and make it easy for even the most novice rider to be licensing test ready in ten hours. You can’t go wrong coming to this course. My only gripe is the price, it’s a tad steep at $329 (3/2021) along with another $45 to use one of their bikes at the licensing exam. But hey it’s makes it easy for anyone who wants to get legal on a bike. You get your money’s worth that’s for sure.

I started the class as a beginner with no experience and Jay and Kevin made me feel extremely comfortable and taught me all I needed to know to pass the exam. Fantastic experience: Since I was a little girl I've always wanted to ride a motorcycle on my own after countless rides with my dad. I went into the 2 day beginner's course with 0 previous experience (I tried to learn stick once and never made it out of the parking lot). Needless to say, I was concerned. But, all of that fear dissipated when I realized how well thought out the program was and how helpful the trainers were. By the end of the second day everyone in my class was beyond prepared to get their licenses. I learned a lot, had tons of fun, and felt that I found a new passion to pursue. Fantastic experience: Had the opportunity to take my beginner motorcycle class at Ride Chicago in October of 2020. The instructors were all 11/10 individuals with superhero strength patience that help objectively critique your riding 1 on 1 to help you from forming dangerous habits. I will definitely be signing up for the intermediate class in 2021

Fantastic experience: I put off getting my M Class for a long time but finally bought a bike and registered for the class. I was tired of just being a passenger! The pace of the class is great; there’s no time to judge yourself and overthink which is super important when riding on the road. I really enjoyed the class and felt my confidence increase exponentially over the course of the two days. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Was looking for a place to learn to ride a motorcycle, and found this place because of my brother and well it was exactly what i needed reasonably priced, and super informative. They have everything you need to ride even if you have no gear thats fine they have it all you need is a long sleeve shirt, jeans and a pair of ankle covering shoes. They will get you riding in no time and get you prepared to state the state licensing exam. 10/10 would recommend and use again. They also over advanced and private lessons if you so desire

They took from a complete novice to someone that can pass the motorcycle test with flying colors. If you are someone nervous about getting a motorcycle or passing the test like I was. Fantastic experience: I took Ride Chicago’s 4/14/18 one day scooter safety course, and it was excellent! Even on a bitterly cold and rainy day, we had fun and learned a ton. The instructors were excellent. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Guys are really good at teaching, they know stuff. I am a beginner, bought a 1250cc bike, as a first bike, was highly advised to take the classes, in 2 days with ride Chicago i learned so many things that i didn't had idea of. helped me a lot to get on my bike, still in the process of learning, its a long journey, but Ride Chicago will teach you the fundamentals so u can get there and start riding, not just riding, but being safe. Highly recommend, might be a little pricey, but me personally, i dont save on safety.

There was plenty of practice time on the motorcycles and the instructors were observant, helpful, patient and provided good suggestions for building confidence and ability in handling the motorcycle. The classroom portion could have been more instructive.

Fantastic experience: Jay and Brad are 2 of the best instructors, hands down. I have never been on a motorcycle and I have always been afraid of them. Decided to face my fears and I went from zero experience to having my m class license. The atmosphere was fun and easy going and both Jay and Brad gave quality one on one coaching. I highly recommend this class if you are serious about acquiring your m class license or learning how to ride a motorcycle.

Fantastic experience: I took Ride Chicago this past weekend in the beginners class. Coming from someone who has never sat on a bike in his life, I must say I feel confident in my ability to ride a motorcycle now. They run through all the fundementals in the "beginner riding course". They made sure that we went through all aspects of whats expected of us on the state test and much much more. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to ride! Staff & motorcycles are top notch.

Fantastic experience: I have to say that I was a little skeptical about taking the class after having spent some time on my own learning how to ride. However, not only did the class point out some things that I would not have learned on my own it also pointed out some bad techniques that I had already picked up. The class goes beyond simply preparing you for the liscensing test it provides with the foundational skills to be a safe and confident rider. The instructors were knowledgeable and provided great tips and constructive feedback.

Fantastic experience: Jay, Henry and Natalie are all awesome! I came to Ride Chicago to learn to ride a motorbike safely, competently and to feel confident when I go out onto the open road. These guys were amazing, they were very patient and gave great tips on how to improve through all the maneuvers so that I continually improved. I even did my test at Ride Chicago on a Wednesday and passed (perfect score) thanks Ride Chicago!!!!
