Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Top Driver Driving School. My teen had an amazing instructor Tom that made her felt at ease and confident to drive safely. Very flexible schedule and they offer home pick up and drop off which is very convenient.

Negative experience: One of your driving instructors, not the kids, just almost ran me over on the Northside of Chicago. You let those people teach kids!? Don't send your kids here!

Negative experience: We payed expensive package , my son started out at drive home safe. After the transition we couldn’t schedule any drives. Now it’s past the year mark and they told us we need to pay more I didn't receive any information about the class expiration ,all the time when we try to make appointment is full.They want more money but still can’t guarantee my son will be able to get any drives! We now have to pay someone else to get his driving lessons to get his license.

Fantastic experience: First drive with instructor. Mr. David Parker is AMAZING. Very knowledgeable, kind, and made my son feel confident. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. Please request him if able. He deserves a raise.

Fantastic experience: My daughter just finished with Drive Home Safe which transitioned to Top Driver during her enrollment. Amber was her instructor and WOW! Amber went above and beyond to ensure her students had the best classroom education and that drives were completed. After each drive Amber took the time to tell me what my daughter worked on, where my daughter was competent and what areas we needed to continue to practice at home. Communication was always prompt, professional and courteous. My daughter was enrolled in the Homeschool class and I really appreciated the daytime availability since my daughter is busy on afternoons/evenings and weekends. I highly recommend Amber for driver education and am so glad we worked with her. I believe my daughter is a better, and safer, driver due to Amber’s excellent instruction.

Negative experience: Since Top Driver has taken over the service is absolutely garbage. My son can’t get his drives in there are no drives available. They have refused to credit us anything. We have been asking for his classroom verification and a credit they have not given us either. We should be given a credit as they don’t have the availability for driving times. We had to go to another company to get our drives done. I’m

Negative experience: Awe full customer service, an awful service all together since they’ve been acquired from the new driving facility. It’s been three months and I can’t even get my daughter to finish her driving school.

Negative experience: My son could not get signed up for drives. My wife and I would sign in during the day and there were never any openings. His login would say his account expired and we were told we would have to pay more money to access the sign up system that never had any way to sign up. We had one son go through the high school and had no problems, for less money.

Negative experience: The classroom part of the drivers program was great. However the scheduling of the behind the wheel was unacceptable. You had a better chance of finding a unicorn than an open slot for your child to drive!! You paid for a service up front and should be able to schedule drives without issue. if you are lucky enough to sign in the exact minute of whatever date and time they release drives then you are lucky. If not, too bad so sad… wait till next week and try again. I have left 5 emails, none have been replied to and nobody answers the phone. It has been a HUGE challenge to get through the begins the wheel portion of class. I DO NOT recommend them. It is not a seamless easy process.

Fantastic experience: Great school, gave me the skills to stay safe on the road and get my license. My driving instructor Ruben was great and explained to me the proper procedures calmly and thought me in a very digestible way.

Fantastic experience: Ruben from drive home safe in Oswego was my driving instructor. Best instructor I could have ever asked for! I learned a lot from him and he knew just the right way to explain things! Highly recommend coming here if you are looking for somewhere for driving school!

Fantastic experience: Dennis the owner is a great guy and easy to talk to. My son was a little nervous going into the in car driving test but his demeanor was just perfect to ease his worries. It's very convenient to take the test through them and pick up the license at the DMV after his birthday. We have had two kids now go through this school and we would do it again.

Fantastic experience: My daughter recently completed her driving lessons with Drive Home Safe. I cannot say enough positive things about Steve, the instructor she drove with the most. He was positive, showed patience, and instilled confidence in my daughter as she developed her skills as a driver. Thank you! DHS is very fortunate to have Steve as part of the staff.

Fantastic experience: The sign up process was over the phone and it was extremely easy, I had to go in to pick up the permit application and turn in the contract and the two young ladies were extremely welcoming, very nice, made sure you knew everything you had to do and what you'll need to bring per the secretary of state guidelines to apply for the permit. The owner Dennis I didn't see but spoke with him on the phone the day before (June 11, 2021) and he too was pleasant and I was happy to hear he had several drivers that were 7' tall considering my son is 6'8 and just turned 15 two months ago. I'd love for my son to drive with him so I hope we can make that happen. After the crazy down pour on my way to Oswego, when I left the sun was shining again, so nice to deal with pleasant people. happy customer!

Fantastic experience: The instructors here are really nice and helpful. All the instructors I've driven and been to class with have been nice and easy to talk to. I learned a lot through this school and think that it is a better experience than through a schools drivers ed. Ive known many people that have also gone here and they all shared the same experience as me. Would recommend for everyone, best driving school in my experience.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend this driving school. The owner is so nice and so are the other employees. I took the in person course last February and then COVID hit so I couldn't do any of the drives. In the fall we emailed them about it and they were very understanding and the owner, Dennis, did most of the drives with me. Very kind and understanding people, no problems at all.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dennis and Drive Home Safe Driving School enough! Years ago he worked with our son and we had nothing but great things to say back then. He is now working with our youngest son and again, has been great to work with. Dennis' ability to clearly explain the program and expectations, as well as providing consistent communication and feedback is fantastic. He has been very responsive to our questions and adjusted his schedule to fit ours.

Fantastic experience: Drive Home Safe was a wonderful school for learning how to drive! They have a wonderful classroom program with great teachers, as well as beyond the wheel drives with instructors that help you to achieve safe and efficient driving! I definitely recommend!!

Fantastic experience: With the quarantine happening, Drive Home Safe adjusted their classroom to be online this past month so the kids could still be educated. My son said he learned a lot and is excited to start driving soon. I would highly recommend them for driver’s ed learning. Thanks Drive Home Safe!

Fantastic experience: My Drive instructor was Darlene, real nice, patient, fun to drive with, I requested her for every drive I had, and was fortunate enough to have her for all 8 drives. She made this program/ learning experience fun!

Fantastic experience: The instructors are some of the best people I've ever met. The classes, tests, and drives were easy to get through. I was able to pass my driving test on the first time. I would highly reccomend this school to anyone who doesn't want to take the class through their school.

Fantastic experience: The classroom was very informational, but allowed fun and laughs everyday. While the classes were fun, the drives were by far the best part. Negative experience: VERY UNPROFESSIONAL , RUDE GHETTO , cancelled my session 10 minutes before, then when asked could they send someone else her name was (Darlene) caught a horrible attitude ! She was the most horrible rudest person I’ve ever spoken to! , They customer service is horrible! Don’t waste your time! Most experience I’ve had with a company! They need to be out of business !!

Negative experience: Just saw an instructor on rt 34 reading some papers while driving. He was in both lanes at the same time. When I got his attention so he would put down his papers, he gave me the finger and made a quick left onto another street. Good example for the students.

Negative experience: Definitely didn't like this school at all , their very unprofessional!

Positive experience: The instructors were fantastic and the classroom portion went well. We did have a snafu with the certificate of completion being submitted to the Secretary of State prior to our son's birthday, but the school resolved that quickly.
