Fantastic experience: Just took my CDL test through this school and did my ELDT training with them as well. I had an incredibly amazing experience and learned a ton in the two days of training. The facility was great and Val and Tom had a ton of knowledge and were amazing trainers! We’ve had two employees get their Class A through CDL Safety School and we will for sure be sending any other employees that need their CDL to them as well. Id highly recommend them to anyone in need of training and testing!

Fantastic experience: I was getting my class B to volunteer bus drive for a few youth organizations we are a part of. I used this school to take my exam. From my experience, they have 2 goals. 1) To see you succeed. I felt that they were doing all they could to make sure I got my license. 2) To make sure only qualified people pass. I didn't pass the inspection portion my first try. Some things seemed picky and overly detailed to me, and I'd rather a school like this be picky and detailed than allow people to slide through. They were great to work with and while I wish I had passed the first time I am pleased with my decision to test here.

Fantastic experience: I went to this school a few weeks back. I did the 1 day 10hr crash course. What an amazing job Tommy and his crew did!! I was fairly fresh to big trucks and how the operate. They were very good in helping me in the areas I struggle with and not over loading me with useless information. I was able to get the whole pre trip down in 2 hrs with missing nothing. They give you great direction and don’t shame you for messing up or missing something. They work with YOU so YOU are %100 ready for your test. Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend this place enough....fantastic company and fantastic people! Day started off with Tom the owner. Very professional and very thorough! I described to him that I really wanted to hammer out my inspection for my class B license. He instructed me very proficiently and was very thorough with my pre-trip inspection. We even had some extra time and went over some backing drills and open road drills! Jennifer was my tester. She was very polite and patient while I went over everything on the truck even if it wasn’t on the test! Can’t thank CDL safety school enough for helping me out and helping me further my career! They are great, hard working people here, that want to see you succeed!

Tommy's program took me from being an average driver to a confident, capable professional in a weeks time. 40 hours of one-on-one instruction, over 400 miles behind the wheel, high quality equipment and course material, I couldn't ask for anything more. On top of being a highly-skilled and knowledgeable instructor, Tommy is also just a great and comfortable guy to be around. He's worked in the trucking industry for decades and knows the in's and out's of everything relevant, very-much the real deal. Professional training from a professional trucker for an extremely reasonable price. Everyone who works there is skilled, down to earth, and otherwise just good people. Fantastic experience: I trained with Tommy for 4 hours this morning before taking my Class A CDL test. I had prepared and studied in advance but wanted a quick refresher course to calm my nerves and ensure I would test well. Tommy was incredibly professional, extremely knowledgeable, full of experience, and had such a great personality that the morning flew by and my nerves settled right down. He was very supportive throughout the entire process and followed up with me after my test to congratulate me. Negative experience: Tommy is a great truck driver. Teacher, not so much. He honestly cares more about keeping his streak of perfect passes then he does teaching and having you learn to be a good truck driver. If you're part of the younger generations and they're serious about learning how to drive truck go somewhere else. I took his corporate class for $4,500 for two weeks with the promise of 80 to 100 hours behind the wheel time. I barely made the 80 hours then he refused to let me test because he said I wasn't ready. And in all honesty I wasn't. But then you wanted to charge my company $4,000 more to get me one more week of drive time practice. Like I said Tommy is a good guy and a good truck driver, but that's kind of just jerk move.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with CDL safety school. Tommy has so much industry knowledge and experience that he bestows upon to his students. I went in having to get my class B CDL with no prior knowledge of how to drive a manual, pre trip inspections, or anything mechanical. Tommy took extra time out of our scheduled class sessions everyday to make sure that I was ready to take the exam. I passed on my first try and I still use what he taught me i.e (importance of safety and a thorough pre trip) while driving everyday. Fantastic experience: Amazing CDL School, all hands on and no cutting corners. Tommy is an amazing trainer he is tough but in the best way possible. Tommy builds confidence in you and always gives positive feedback. Tommy is very knowledgeable at what he teaches and in the two weeks that I was there I learned so much that I never knew about driving a CMV. It's only 2 person school, so you get every chance to improve and learn and Tommy will teach you anything you need to know about driving so ask, if you don't ask you won't never know. Fantastic experience: I had failed my first class A test on the backing pointed out on the offset. A friend referred me to Tommy, So I reached out and told him my issues and needed some additional training with a few backing maneuvers to complete my Class A. Tommy scheduled me in a few days later for a two day course. His teaching ability and his knowledge of trucking made it easy to reverse my thought process and had me go from pointing out on the the offset, To having zero points on my backing test. I’m proud to say I’m now a CDL A license driver and I’m thankful for CDL safety school and Tommy for the extra work to get me over the hump.

Negative experience: We came from Texas to do the road test. We made an appointment a week ago. When we arrived to testing location at 6.30am (1 hour before an appointment). The road course was covered in snow and at 7.00am they started cleaning the snow. As they were cleaning the snow, I came up to them and asked them about my appointment. They told me that I missed my appointment, even though I was sitting in the truck In front of office for the whole time, waiting on them to clean the snow from the yard. I wouldn't reccomend this school

Fantastic experience: CDL safety school can be broken down to 2 rules. 1. Don't break Tommy's stuff 2. Don't give up. It really isn't hard if you keep at it, calm down, and keep learning. Tommy does everything he can to help you learn to be safe. The class size helps ensure you get the time to have one on one training that is personalized to your learning ability. The homework helps to ensure you are prepared for the classes. The classwork helps cement the knowledge you will need day to day, the pretrip and driving skills will enable you to easily pass the cdl driving test. If you are having any difficulties and want to put in the extra hours to learn he will go out of his way to ensure you get the extra time you need. The goal of this school is in the name however, this is not the school to go to if you are only looking to pass a test. This is the school to go to if you are looking to be a safe knowledgeable driver that doesn't injure yourself or someone else. If you feel like your life, CDL license, and your fellow drivers lives aren't worth the money then go somewhere else. If you are ready to learn, both from Tommy and your own mistakes you won't fail. Tommy himself is a very warm, kindhearted and funny guy who will get you to laugh if your too worried and get you to get serious if your head to is stuck somewhere else. He can immediately pick up on the things you need to work on and get you on the right path to get it corrected. He cares about the drivers and will always be there with a pot of coffee or a bottle of water bright and early. I had an excellent experience there, and I would highly recommend this school to anyone that is on the fence about it for any reason. I consider myself a slow learner and sometimes my mind went blank on what the right thing to do was, with the guidance I received within the 3rd day of school I was easily driving through Arvada and Friday that same week I was driving in downtown Denver. Testing day I was nervous but after I had passed the test it was just like everyone told me, I really had nothing to be nervous about. This was seriously a solid life experience I will never forget. Fantastic experience: After successfully completing the entry level class A CDL course with Tommy there is not enough good things I could say about the program. From day one it is very hands on and he gives you everything plus some to be successful, feel confident and safe. As a young student with no commercial driving experience 3-4 days in I had the pre-trip down, felt more then comfortable driving with Tommy and learned multiple backing techniques. While driving in the city, highways, mountains and just about all driving situations Tommy did a great job and I couldn’t be more confident with what I learned. Fantastic experience: Graduated with my CDL 10/21/17 started school on 10/10/17.This was a great school! Tommy is an awesome person who does his best to work with everyone no matter how much expierence you may have with clutching or driving a rig. John Farkus was mainly my trainer and you couldnt ask for a more patient,level headed trainer. They were both gentlemen who have no predjudice when it comes to training a female, for any ladies who are reading or thinking of going to this school. I went in here never even having driven a clutch vehicle and I left able to drive a 60+ foot flatbed diesel clutch around downtown Denver in 2 or so weeks. The class size is as good as you will find anywhere and if you need a few more hours to get something down, they understand! There was no weeding out and no setting me up to fail a test to milk more money out of you like some dishonest schools may try. Tommys an honest guy who runs an honest business and values his reputation. Good luck to future students, this is one of the best schools!

Fantastic experience: We recently pruchased a Ford F350 and large 5th Wheel. The RV community suggests that you take a CDL safety class to become better and safer drivers and to be more aware while on the road. I found this CDL Safety School through google. We were lucky to get 4 hours of private lessons with the owner, Tommy. The time we spent with him was so informative and helpful. We initially wanted to go so I could learn how to tow the 5'ver in case of an emergency. My boyfriend really felt he had it all figured out, which he pretty much did. But there is so much you are not aware of that is different when you are in a larger vehicle. The rules change, your speed changes, the way you use your brakes, you have to be hyper aware, wind speeds, bridges, the list just goes on and on. Tommy was patient and very respectful and at the same time made sure to tell us how to adjust what we were doing to be safer. I hghly recommend anyone interested in RVing to take this class. you'll be surprised like we were, on how much you dont know and you will be a safer driver.

Fantastic experience: Review is being written by Ryen Robinson. I attended CSL Safety School in May 2017. The best way to learn is to drive a semi truck is to drive. I was put in the semi truck on day 1 and drove for 2 weeks straight. Tom is an awesome instructor and I highly recommend CSL Safety School.

Fantastic experience: Tommy runs the best school in the city, your in the truck the very first day learning how to actually drive a semi. Other schools do not do that. if you want to learn to drive a semi, get your CDL and feel safe and comfortable once in the workplace then CDL Safety school should be your clear choice.

Fantastic experience: I just went through a 2 week cdl class here. Tom Rausch is keen on giving personalized training to each student that comes to his school. Not a driver mill a school where you learn how to properly drive a class A vehicle. Highly recommend if your looking for the most value on the amount you spend. He won't give up on you unless you give up yourself.

Fantastic experience: I have been involved with trucking for over 30 years. I have reviewed several of CDL Safety Schools Drivers and find that other schools teach their drivers to pass the CDL Road Test but CDL Safety Schools drivers are taught to be above and beyond the test and be safe and efficient drivers.

Fantastic experience: Small school and it shows. Personalized attention. I review many truck schools all over the country and worked at one myself for 11 years. This is a diamond in the ruff. Most truck schools give you the basics and that is fine for many. If you are looking for integrity, stop at this school. You won't be sorry.
