With over 12 locations across the Denver Metro area, DriveSafe is the largest, and only AAA approved Driving School in the State of Colorado. While our locations’ office hours vary, we do offer scheduled drive lessons and license tests 7 days a week, with driving lessons ending as late as 9pm.

Negative experience: My experience with DriveSafe has been extremely disappointing. Their customer service representatives, Andrea and Tori, were both rude and condescending when I reached out for help. I had purchased additional drive time for my child, but the company couldn’t uphold the scheduled appointments and instead forced us to reschedule at a different location, which was completely inconvenient. When I asked for a refund, I was told I had signed an agreement stating there were no refunds — even though DriveSafe failed to deliver on their end of the deal. It’s frustrating to see a business that shows so little accountability or concern for its customers. I would not recommend DriveSafe to anyone.

Negative experience: Our experience with DriveSafe Evergreen has been very disappointing. The customer service is unhelpful and difficult to work with, and the available driving times are extremely inconvenient. Most concerning, the driving instructor made my child feel terrible about their driving skills, which really hurt their confidence instead of helping them improve. Overall, this has not been a positive experience, and I would not recommend this location.

Negative experience: This review is for Drivesafe in general. Scheduling is way too difficult. It's impossible to find times available after school or on weekends. I'm also not sure why the Lakewood/Littleton location continues to do license testing given the extensive construction in the area. It does not seem like a safe environment to test in. Meanwhile, the location closest to us and where my kid will actually be driving - Evergreen - does not offer testing making us drive down the hill for everything. Finally, why does one have to call to book everything? While the staff is very nice, it's annoying and inconvenient. It's 2025, one should be able to book things online. I would look for another option that is more convenient and user friendly if you have options. We ended up using another school in Boulder for the driving test and scheduling it online was a breeze. Life is too short for all this aggravation.
Positive experience: At first we had a VERY hard time scheduling drives - there was little availability and/or help. Now they have Andrea at the office and she is GREAT! She is really trying to get drives scheduled. Thank you Andrea!!!
Positive experience: Overall my daughter has had a great experience with DriveSafe. She's had two different instructors, Theresa out of Evergreen and Carlos out of Morrison. Both were terrific - competent, encouraging and friendly! She appreciated having the online option for her course work. Highly recommend the Skills Day too. My only complaint and the reason for 4 starts instead of 5 is that scheduling driving sessions in Evergreen was very difficult. If you're willing to drive to the Morrison location, it seems that there's more availability there. Well done DriveSafe!
