Negative experience: I came here a few weeks ago to take my driving test and my instructor was Thomas. From the first interaction he was rude, did not bother to introduce himself at all. My family who coached me told me to inspect the outside of the car before getting in and he snapped back "You don't need to do that, it gets done 6 times a day". We proceeded into the car where I did not want to start the car until my mirrors and seat were fixed, but Thomas told me to start the car. I tried saying " I want to make sure everything is safe first" but he immediately cut me off mid-sentence and repeated "start the car" very loud. I asked "are you serious?" wondering if this was a trick question because I was told to not start the car and he repeated again but louder to start the car. So I did and we continued with the test. I was backing out of the parking spot in a relatively busy parking lot and I was going slow because I was set off by his behavior and nervous, Thomas proceeded to put his hands on the wheel and start turning it for me. We were in a parking spot, in no way was I putting either of us in danger. He proceeded to tell me to put the car back into drive when I did not want to because I didn't think I had enough space to clear the car next to me, but I did anyways in fear of losing points of my test. I did not clear it as expected, Thomas said "not good, not good". We continued with the test and he proceeded to put his hands on the wheel again when pulling back into the parking spot. In no way was this behavior nessesary or professional, his sly "not good" comment was discouraging and rude. It baffles me that he thought that was appropriate especially when I was taking my time, not putting us in danger. My experience with Micheal at the golden location was completely different and positive. He was kind and even tried to make jokes to calm me down during the test. I told him about Thomas's behavior and he told me that he was the head tester and "doesn't let things slide". Either way he should not be allowed to get away with this behavior and I hope he is reported.
