Negative experience: We had a terrible experience with this place. The classes were a joke, which I guess is to be expected, but they scammed us out of our money so my daughter never did get in-car training. He kept making excuses because of an illness. Communication was horrible. Go anywhere else than here. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Fantastic experience: Would definitely recommend! Because of Mr. T. Flynn I feel very prepared for my driver's test.

Fantastic experience: The only reason I picked this school was because of all the good reviews about Mr. Flynn. My son had nothing but great things to say about him! Mr. Flynn was knowledgeable, helpful and he said they had good conversations. They practiced maneuverability and on the freeway. He also picked my son up for lessons which was very helpful. This experience was stress free for me as a parent. I felt that my son was safe with Mr. Flynn.

Negative experience: A little more than a month ago I paid for in-car lessons only to be given the run-around by Ari, and when I asked for a refund he refused. I have yet to be scheduled for my driving lessons and now I am being denied my refund. He does not even respond when i email or text him. I text him then I wait 2 to 3 days and send him another text and then he responds and acts like he doesn't know what I am talking about. He kept asking me have I checked the student center of the website for scheduling and I keep telling him nothing is there and nothing is happening when I try to schedule for my lessons. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY HERE, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NEVER SCHEDULE YOU!!!!!

Ari, the owner, was helpful and flexible in helping my daughter reach her goal of getting her license. Fantastic experience: My son Fred completed his drivers course with Mr. Ferris and Mr. Flynn. Both instructors were very professional and encouraging during Fred’s in car sessions. They gave him great advice and tips that I immediately noticed an improvement in Fred’s driving. Fred took his classes online, I like that he was able to retake the classes as many times he felt needed. I want to also thank Ari, each and every time I reached out via text he responded timely. Communication is the key in all aspects of business. I’ve sent all 3 of my kids to BTW and if I had to utilize or recommend a drivers Ed program again, BTW is my choice!!!

Fantastic experience: Honestly, I feel very lucky to have ended up with the behind the wheel driving school as a new driver. The communication and efficiency of btw is truly miles beyond what I’ve seen from other businesses. The website is surprisingly streamlined and drivers are extremely accommodating in pickup locations, times, and other circumstances. I was expecting a boring experience driving hours with an instructor from btw but the 8 hours I spent driving turned out to be pretty entertaining. Going from a street driver to someone who can pass the maneuverability test isn’t as easy as it may sound but btw definitely helped me achieve that.

Fantastic experience: I had both Mr. Flynn and Mr. Ferris as driving instructors. Both were excellent and were extremely knowledgeable of how to pass the BMV driving test. With Covid there were many precautions taken and I felt safe while driving. I also found the 24hr online driving module easy to use and learn from. On top of that, email communication with Ari regarding paperwork and payment was clear and easy to understand. Overall, I had a great experience with Behind the Wheel!

I did the online class and my in cars with behind the wheel and my instructors name was Mr. Flynn. Super cool guy, positive attitude, and very thorough when explaining the right way to drive especially with maneuver ability. He made me feel very comfortable while driving and I definitely had a good experience!

He created a safe and comfortable environment to ask questions and learn how to be a safe driver. There were lots of dad jokes to keep the air light. He was accommodating and flexible to my situation. He was very supportive and provided encouragement and extra support to ensure the goal of passing the test was reached. COVID precautions were taken to ensure safety. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Behind the Wheel for anyone who is interested in preparing for the road test.

Just schedule a couple hours with him and your performance will improve significantly. I think the price is reasonable and he can tailor to your specific need. Negative experience: Absolutely shocked that the owner and representative of the company is so incredibly rude. I had called inquiring about setting up in car classes for my son that had completed his classroom portion. He answered his phone while he was walking his dog and was scolding me for not having the information to schedule online classes then hung up on me. Really?! Fantastic experience: Super helpful!! When I called them I had little knowledge of the "process" for helping my daughter get her license. The guy I spoke to was very patient with me and explained the entire process. Unfortunately we are out of their territory and had to go elsewhere. 5 Star customer service!!

Fantastic experience: BTW is awesome. Period. Mr. Flynn has a fun and informative program that I enjoyed several years ago when I was first becoming a driver. (Not to mention he trusted me with his Audi TT on my first in-car lesson). Now I drive emergency vehicles for a living and use some of the techniques learned at BTW every day (I have the cleanest driving record at the department). Highly recommended.

Just passed my test today after only 3 sessions with him. Highly recommend. So happy I called him. The price was great as well!

Negative experience: Don't go to this driving school! I went here 2 years ago and paid the average price of any other driving school. Since I have fail 3 driving test. They had one job to equipt me for the test and they failed miserably.

Fantastic experience: I had 6 years of international driving license in a small city before moving to Cleveland. I put off getting my Ohio license because I was dreading going through the exam process as I get nervous easily. I chose Behind the Wheels because of the excellent reviews, and I’m glad I did. Mr Tom helped quite a bit in building up my confidence in just a few hours. He was patient with my nerves and my mistakes. He explained the exam process very clearly and gave me tips/advice, both for the exam and for managing Cleveland as this is not the easiest city to drive in! His car is great too if you’re thinking of using their vehicle for the exam, it was small and drove very smoothly. I definitely recommend this school, whether you’re a beginner or just need a refresher. In fact, my sister is about to go through the same process and will most probably schedule a few hours with Behind the Wheels too!

Negative experience: The Receptionist was very rude to a customer that wanted more information, before choosing there services.

Fantastic experience: I did my driving class with Tom and it was beyond excellent! I have driven only once which was about 2 years ago and I did not know how to "properly" and "safely" drive. I only did 6 hours of driving class because I have to move to different state and need to have driving license asap, but Tom taught me really well. Tom walked me through the maneuverability test and driving test really well and is really encouraging. I passed on my first try and I can definitely say that I feel more confident. I am glad that Tom taught me for my driving lesson.

Positive experience: My oldest son utilized the service to gain driving hours only, but it worked like a charm. I'm allowing my other sons to participate as well!!!

I had very little driving experience on the road other than taking around 20 lessons in Australia about 2 yrs ago. I went for approximately 10 hrs with Tom and also passed the road test with him. Not only will he be able to help you just pass the test but he'll stretch your knowledge of driving. Tom truly cares for his students' well-being and was willing to help recommend places to look at when it came to buying and repairing a car.
