Negative experience: I love Aaa but sadly this is very difficult if your child has an after school job or sports. the app limits you to 2 lessons and then dosent have any options for anything with in 2 or 3 weeks. It's a very frustrating app. I don't recommend for kids who are busy or parent that have limited time.
Fantastic experience: My husband and I decided to register our daughter to the AAa driving school after we received so many recommendations from our friends and neighbors based on their experiences. We were very happy with the entire experience and the driving instructors are super helpful and very patient. We especially appreciated Andy from the Anaheim Hills office.
Fantastic experience: My kiddo took lessons through AAA driving school and every day she did, she reported nothing but good things. She learned many tips and lessons for her future driving and so far all of learned lessons are paying off.
Negative experience: We chose AAA to get our teenage son licensed because we have always valued the services provided by our ACSC membership. I had friends telling me not to chose them for the online driver's education because they require parents to complete a section in addition to the students 30 hours. My son also tried to talk me out of it because his friends told him it was harder than some of the other online courses. To me, harder was better because you want your kid coming away from driver's ed well versed in all of the rules of the road. My son completed the 30 hours online and got his permit on the second attempt. The problem started when we needed to sign up for our 10 hours of driver's training through the Anaheim Hills AAA location. Time slots were SEVERELY limited and you could only sign up for 2 lessons at a time. When I called to ask why the slots were so limited and why you could only sign up for 2 at a time they said that their program is designed for students to have sessions every 3 weeks or so and finish the 10 hours at the 6 month mark of holding their permit, since this is when they are eligible to take their driving test with the DMV. Fair enough, but you can't get a lesson every 3 weeks. Some of our lessons were 5-6 weeks apart so it made it impossible to get our 10 hours in before taking our DMV test. Right now, every time I log in to try to schedule a lesson I get a message that there are no lessons available for November and December. I have nothing bad to say about the instructors. My son has had two different people and both were very well qualified and good with teens. The program needs an overhaul since they are not set up to deliver the lessons they sell you in the 6 month period you hold your permit. I will not be using them when my daughter gets her license in 2 years.
Fantastic experience: Second time we've used AAA for driver's training. I always felt at ease with the instructors and new our kids were in good hands!
