Welcome to Drivers Edge School of Driving, your trusted driving school in Belvidere since 2001. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive and high-quality driver education for teens aged 15 to 18. Conveniently located just five minutes from the new Hard Rock Casino, we offer engaging classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction.

Our instructors are well-trained and licensed by the Illinois Secretary of State, ensuring that each student receives tailored and thorough training. We provide 12 classroom sessions each year, including four during the summer, allowing for optimal flexibility for our learners.

Additionally, we offer over 60 hours of scheduled drive time each week, with pickup available at our office or from local schools, including Belvidere HS and North Boone. You can easily register for our programs through our online platform and enjoy the experience of learning to drive with confidence and safety.

Negative experience: From one entrepreneur to another, your staff are the most unfriendly people to deal with. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to acquire your services.

Positive experience: My son liked it as much as a teen could like school. Hated how long he had to wait after the regular classes ended before he was able to start the actual driving part. *this was when they started opening up after the pandemic.

Fantastic experience: Great place to send your kids for driving school. Thorough lessons and very professional staff provide everything you need for a reasonable price. And they do school year round, so no waiting for your kids to get it at public school.

Fantastic experience: I have put both of my children thru this driving school and very pleased with how one has become a very responsible driver and the other is learning to become one and earning her permit
