Driver Education the EZ Way, Inc.: Reviews
Negative experience: My son is currently enrolled at EZ Way Drivers Training in Jackson, MI for segment 1. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company, EVER. My older son used Acceler8, which I whole heartedly endorse, but this particular class worked with our schedule. The customer service side of this business is absolutely horrendous. Every employee I had an interaction with was rude, bitchy and disrespectful every time I reached out whether it was to enroll, pay for the course, or ask questions. Their communication is also terrible. They changed drive times without telling the parents after they had already been scheduled and are asking me to pay an additional charge to make up for the missed time, because I didn't know about the change. I called the company during the day and they gave me the instructors number and the times they had on the schedule, which matched my calendar. After asking the instructor about the changes in schedule I left. When I got home I found that the instructor sent a text message to me that was intended for another employee, I assume, because she called me a liar in the text. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The original owner should be wholly disappointed in what his company has become. The only reason I gave 1 star is because I had to give it a star rating to post a review.
Fantastic experience: EZ-Way Driver Training, Inc. is not to be confused with EZ- Way Driver Testing, Inc. They are two separate businesses with very similar names, but they offer different services. E-Z Way Driver Training Inc. provides Segment 1 and 2 driver training opportunities and E-Z Way Driver Testing, Inc. is the company that offers the road test for those individuals who have already completed their driver’s training and their driving hours. EZ-Way Driver Training, Inc. in Jackson is absolutely phenomenal. The segment 1 and 2 classes there are outstanding. The instructors and the office staff at this location are professionals who get the job done right. They are amazing to work with and we had a fantastic experience there. We made the right choice doing segment 1 and 2 with EZ-Way Driver Training in Jackson, MI. I highly recommend them!
Negative experience: My daughter was failed because she had 2 instructors that couldnt figure out there individual jobs, and for the color of her skin. The instructor Jake woke up on the wrong side of the bed due to the current uproar in our country and decided to bring his personal feelings to work! He didnt greet us with a hello or how are you. He greeted us with get out of the car and go over here! I could continue, but my point is dont go here!
Driver Education the E-Z Way does not provide the road test, this is not our company. We hope you can contact the company you used and let them know. We have no instructors by the name of Jake working for us. We hope you can get this resolved with the correct company.
Negative experience: I took my instructional driving perfectly fine and by the end of the class, i was given my report with the instructor commenting about my weight more than my driving. Keep in mind that I’m a minor and it extremely hurt my feelings, I don’t even think it’s allowed.
If you took the driving road test this is not our company. That is EZ Way Testing. We do not give provide the road test at our company. Please make sure to give your review with them, not us. Thank you.
Fantastic experience: This company is very nice, they are very good about communicating and getting back with you as soon as possible. The teachers are very nice and patient and are very flexible if you need to reschedule a drive time or make up a class you miss. The classes they hold have changed buildings a couple times, but of the classes I took the building was always nice and clean and we were supplied pencils and whatever paperwork we needed. It seems like most of the bad reviews are talking about a driving test, but this company does not administer the driving test, they offer driving classes but not the test. So to anyone who reads the bad review that have to do with the driving test they are referring to the company called EZWay Testing. They are most likely not talking about Driver Education the EZ Way.
Negative experience: The old man was a joke and a half. He's very rude short very intimidating to your 16 year old child. He waves his hands in the air like swatting flies if you want this creep to fail your kids go for it. Money hungry company to get you to pay again for first fail to make more money off you. They will not give you refunds for their incompetant senior citizen bullying your child for 15 minutes. Worthless company. They do not care about our children. I have absolutely nothing nice to say to their customers service or their management except WHAT A JOKE OF A BUSINESS. PLEASE PEOPLE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.!!!!
This is not Driver Education, if it is the road test you are referring to they are called EZ Way Testing. We do in class driver education for those under 18 years old.
Negative experience: The most incapable and unhelpful group of instructors around. At all costs, avoid going through Ez-way. These people are terrible to responding to calls and when they do respond they are unfriendly & unhelpful. Mr. Ohs is an emotional driven and unstable person who has no right being any type of instructor. Even worse, is Mike Dodge. This man will fail a person for any reason. I was marked down points for signaling my turn signal "too early". These people are all crazy. All a round a terrible service.
Driver Education the E-Z Way provides in classroom education for those under 18 years of age and in car instruction for those over 18. If you have a problem with anyone from our company please let us know as soon as possible. Mike Dodge does not work for our company so you will have to contact them with your concerns.
Fantastic experience: Mike Dodge was Strict and very good at his job. Serious guy for serious driving!!!! Good experience with the ezway company be prompt know your stuff you will do fine. Great office person also!!!!
Fantastic experience: This company and the examiner followed the guidelines set by the State of Michigan. You have to be on time, bring the right paperwork and prepare for the test by practicing what is in the study guide. The examiner did a good job explaining areas I could work on at the end of the test. Professional job.
Negative experience: Do not spend your time or money here. Very rude.
Negative experience: We tried to take our son there to get tested for his driver's license. We were told that they only do testing during the day on weekdays. No evening or weekend appointments. So, we had to take our son out of school early to get to the test. We were 5 minutes late and the tester refused to do the test and wouldn't even discuss it with us. He was very terse and rude. I understand we were late; but, the fact that he wouldn't even talk to us was very frustrating. Would not recommend for anyone.
Negative experience: Did not give clear instructions. And was treated very poorly. Did not give the information i needed. All around bad place to do the test
Negative experience: Extremely rude instructor provided no helpful feedback basically take your money for a test and fail you in hopes you will pay for another test.
Negative experience: Please read before even thank about testing with this company! Went to this company even after read the review and gave the the benefit they mite be good i was so wrong! I am 21 years old and I passed the parking test ! started to do my road test and the instituter wanted me to go over the posed speed limit because every one else was speeding! then when he wanted me to make a turn and if i would have turned when he wanted me to i would have side swiped a car in the next lane! Also after the test was done he fail to give me any paper work on why i fail! told me in am in inexperienced driver and that its not the end of the world! Thought that was not professional to say! Nair in his place to say to me! I am almost 22 year old adult in 23 days and he had me so upset i was crying! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT SOMEONE TALKING DOWN TO YOU!
Our company does not provide road testing, only Driver Education for students. The road test company name is EZ Way Testing, that is not us. If you can give them your review instead of us that would be appreciated.
Negative experience: Paid $46 for them to tell me my light was out.
Driver Education the E-Z Way teaches in class education for those under 18 years of age, we do not perform road tests with anyone. You may need to contact the other company to communicate with them what happened.
