Fantastic experience: My son needed a driving test and we were able to get scheduled for the following day which was very convenient. Regina was the instructor and she was very professional. She was direct and to the point. If any directions were not understood she patiently repeated herself and was very clear. Although driving tests are nerve wracking for the student and the parent, we had a pleasant experience overall.
Fantastic experience: trish at the tecumseh location is absolutely amazing for new anxious drivers taking their road test. very thorough and great communication. highly recommend!
Negative experience: Horrible experience, We brought a legal license and tagged vehicle just because it was out of state was currently insured. They kept trying to identify and saying well Michigan doesn’t do it this way, and we’re like ok well this vehicle is valid in the state it’s registered in and valid to drive anywhere. Because the vehicle he had access to use for testing was not from Michigan, they discriminated. They said “Michigan goes by your birthdate not by what your trying to pull” (totally offensive) the old lady in the red car cannot read a total valid tag. She told the invisible person on the other phone wrong information and the invisible person told her to take half our money after we paid her cash and she gave us no test. Total scam now I even question. I’m grateful that door closed because they are certificates aren’t even valid through the state of Michigan. I’m sure. Save your money if you happen to be in a unique situation or you’re here helping family and someone is going through the process Of getting a drivers license, their customer service sucks. They do not see anything outside of Michigan, which is wrong. Go to E-Z way drivers test. They are way more educated. I will be filing a lawsuit. Their motto should be “Welcome to Michigan, we will rob you while you are trying to do the right thing, because we don’t educate ourselves on how to read out-of-state licensed legal vehicles on the road”
Negative experience: Last Friday I had my driving test with Regina and, honestly, it was not a good experience. From the start, communication was very limited and confusing. During the test, while merging onto the highway with caution, I slowed down on the ramp (without braking abruptly) because another car was in the next lane and I couldn’t merge safely. Even so, Regina reacted in an exaggerated way by saying “Jesus Christ” and putting her hands on her face. That reaction was out of place, startled me, and made me more nervous, which could have even caused an accident. I believe a calmer and more professional attitude would help test takers feel safer and perform better.
Negative experience: Do not take your test with Regyna Snay! She was INCREDIBLY rude and vocal on things that were not even incorrect. She screamed "Jesus christ" and put her head in her hand when my wife used the on-ramp to enter the highway. She was freaked out because my wife used nearly the entire on ramp (literally what you're supposed to do). Mind you, there was a car on the highway in the next lane, so she couldn't get over without slowing down or speeding to get ahead. It's on dashcam, I reviewed it, and her reaction was completely unnecessary and incorrect. My wife didn't do a single thing wrong. Regyna was also upset my wife was doing 3-5 mph under the speed limit for the test. Again, completely not called for, nor incorrect. I thought my wife was exaggerating what happened until I watched the dashcam (highly recommend everyone get one). Regyna is an incredibly rude and miserable person that should never be able to do this job. Do not take your test with her
