Negative experience: Sabrina Sims absolutely made my daughter a nerve wreck while taking this class. Sabrina was always rude and had an attitude. My daughter was always anxious and stressed out while driving with Mrs. Sabrina. After my daughter got her permit, my husband and I have her drive us all the time, even in the highway with zero issues. Mrs. Sabrina decided to fail my daughter on her last driving lesson after there were no complaints on all the previous in car driving lesson with other instructors. I absolutely do not recommend this location if your child is going to be assigned to Sabrina Simms. Your child will lose his/ her confidence .

Fantastic experience: The bar is set high, but both of my children came out of the classes with fantastic thinking skills and driving principles instilled. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Top Driver is a great place to take driver's education. My son has taken his lessons from Top Driver. I really liked the program the in-house and the on the road trainings are very well designed to up bring the students from novice to expert drivers. The option to pick up and drop off at home is a great help when it comes to on the read driving lessons. My son's instructor Ms. Sabrina Sims is very knowledgeable, professional and very patient working with my son. She has followed up with me and updated me what to practice and what my son is good at after each road lesson. I will give five stars to Top Driver and also to Ms. Sabrina Sims for making my son succeed in his driver's education. Thanks Top Drivers' Team !!!

Negative experience: If you want your child to lose any confidence in their driving ability, schedule them an in car lesson with Sabrina Simms. She is completely rude and impatient with students. She harps on punctuality, but never fails to arrive to a class or a lesson. She fails to show any empathy,compassion,or understanding for students.After driving with her once I vowed that I would never get back in the car with her again abs always scheduled with different teachers.All of the other instructors were super kind and insightful.Unfortunately ,calling customer service to book an in-car lesson is too hard because they rarely have any availability.On a more positive note, I was able to pass my driving exam on the first try at Top Driver and the Secretary of State.

Negative experience: Very rude people.They say they recorded my phone call but charging me sixty dollars If I knew they was gonna be this I would allow him to take the classes in school.You pay all this money And they talk to you like you aint nothing totally disrespectful.I would never recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: Do not waste your money sending your child here very unprofessional the female drivers and instructor have attitudes all the time. I had to request for 1 of the Instructors not to take my daughter driving anymore every time my child came back she was in tears. Something that was supposed to be an enjoyable experience turned out to be an awful experience for my child. They stress the importance of being on time if you not they charge or lock you out of class and they have no respect for your time. I paid $750 for this class that’s being going on for almost a year. Not to mention you can’t never schedule driving time for your child because all the slots are filled within 15min after they post. I wish I could give them a neg 0 star. You better off letting your child take Driver ED in school save your money

Negative experience: I was inquiring about information and the Customer service lady had a nasty attitude. I drop the call and no longer interested in the school. What is wrong with people

Fantastic experience: I have 15 year old twins in class at the Bolingbrook location. They enjoy the class and feel like they are learning a lot. Both had their permits within four weeks of starting class. Both my daughter and my son enjoy talking about the information they learn each week and how knowledgeable their instructors are. They thoroughly enjoy going to class on Sunday afternoon and are doing so good with their student driving and keeping track of their driving hours.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely thrilled with all that my sons have gained from having attended Top Driver. Their classroom, as well as behind-the-wheel instructor was Ms. Sims and she was wonderful. Although she was "strict and no-nonsense," she was still kind, caring and engaging. As another reviewer commented, phones were turned in, and full attention was required. As a parent, I very much appreciated her having those standards and conveying the seriousness of becoming a licensed driver. Both of my kids were complimented when they recently passed their driving tests at the DMV...I attribute this in large part to the training they received at Top Driver. I also learned a lot from the Parent Coaching Videos that were included. Highly recommend and definitely worth the investment.

Fantastic experience: The instructors are very kind, my son not once complained about any rudeness. I like that during the classroom hours my son was asked to put his phone in box, personally I think is great, it makes my son pay attention without any distraction. Customer service too is very nice. The program is a bit expensive but for the service and knowledge my son received its a well investment.

Fantastic experience: I thought I'd post my review now since it's been a little over a year since I atteneded Top Driver's classroom training. I was part of Mr. Conrad's first in person class, actually. Despite him being new at the time, he was a very helpful & fun teacher. This is an amazing place to start learning how to drive, every driving instructor I had here were very nice & gave good tips too. I'd have to argue that the drive scheduling system can be improved, it was extremely difficult to get my last 2 lessons in, and I actually wasn't able to complete all 8 lessons in the 9 months, it took 10 months instead, which is okay, because I was able to finish my last lesson without any issues! 1 year later, I'm now a licensed 17 year old with my own vehicle. So, thank you Top Driver! Tell Mr. Conrad I said hello! He probably won't remember me, but still.. lol

Negative experience: Class starts at 6pm the lady wont open her door till exactly 6 pm . If I arrive at 6:10 pm I can’t get in to the class and have to pay to reschedule the missed class. SMH this place is so inflexible! Try a different school.

Fantastic experience: I took four lessons with Top Driver and my driving instructor was Freddy. Freddy was so knowledgeable and encouraging, he really helped me improve my driving skills and help boost my confidence. Thanks to Freddy’s encouragement, I passed the road test and got my license on the first attempt. Top Driver will even take you to the Secretary of State office to take to the road test and let you use their car if you don’t have one. I highly recommend Top Driver and Freddy, they are the best.

Fantastic experience: The classes were good . The parent packet answered all the questions and it’s great that you email a reminder of the scheduled drives . My daughter has had 2 different driving teachers and both we’re great . We had to schedule the next drive in Joliet so hopefully she has just as good of an experience!

Negative experience: Very disorganized. Parent orientation had people out the door with door open started earlier than scheduled time and anyone who got there at scheduled time missed some important details. Then when it comes time to schedule in vehicle driving instruction come across many difficulties and ask them how and they say it was mentioned at orientation. First of all, some people probably missed that part since you started too early and didn't wait for everyone to show up to hear this important information you expect us to know. Second, how am I supposed to schedule 6 hours in vehicle driving when only one day at same times are all that's available? How can you demand these students schedule these times when only one day is available at the same time AND before regular school day ends? Pay a lot for disorganization and to do a lot of your own work that they should be responsible for and then not even have the availability to help complete the course??? Very disappointed.
