Fantastic experience: It’s good. 5 stars.

Negative experience: Can’t recommend this driving school. Class sizes are big and it’s very busy. I couldn’t get anyone to return phone calls or text messages. Totally unprofessional. I will not be sending my other child to this school.

Fantastic experience: Colby literally is hands down the BEST driving instructor. His classes are informative, his laid back personality and humor makes the kids feel comfortable with him in the car on drives. He’s flexible and understanding with kids who have a busy sports schedule. I had to reschedule my son’s class 4 times because of his basketball schedule and never once did he make me feel like I was a burden. Both of my kids went to Colby and this driving school and I’m so thankful they did!!

Fantastic experience: I an so happy I chose this place to get my license. The driving instructors are doing an amazing job, are super friendly and really care about their clients!

Fantastic experience: I was the only adult in the class most of the students where much younger then me. We where all treated equally and the teacher was funny and takes safety seriously. It builds my confidence on the road.

Fantastic experience: Best driving school I have dealt with in the area. The 911 Driving School in Port Orchard isn't willing to work with the DMV. After calling around, A Driving School made it so easy to take my tests!

Fantastic experience: The driving instructor was polite and funny and actively made attempts to sooth my nerves before the test as well as during by speaking in a calm, even, tone of voice. He was very upfront about everything beforehand as well as about the test result submission afterward. He was friendly and good at his job, and the test consisted of several concepts that you run into frequently on the road. I felt like the test was a fair measure of whether or not someone can safely drive, even though I barely passed.

Negative experience: The elderly man that does the skills testing is so rude.. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Great place to get your children or young adults to take the written test and the driving test. The people there are awesome that run it and have patience.

Negative experience: Don’t bother wasting your money on this driving school. They were more than happy to take our money but can’t be bothered to return any of our many voicemail messages and emails to confirm enrollment and answer other questions we have. Totally poor customer service.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, we spent way too much time with the owner, Colby, and instructors before realizing this place goes from bad to worse. Our teen had to hear inappropriate comments from the owner about girls in bikinis, political comments, assumptions about our family's income and telling our teen how much money they can make off of us if they fail our teen. These crude, belittling, and condescending comments were made during practice drives. We took our business elsewhere. If this happened to our child, how many others is this happening to? We are beyond angry and I hope others will avoid this business so your kids aren't treated like this.

Negative experience: Would rate it 0 if I could. They cant keep books so lost record of our payment. When wife sent info showing we paid again. Apparently this was still not good enough as they continued to say we didnt pay. Save yourself the trouble...

Fantastic experience: Teacher(s) made the lessons witty and fun, while still teaching you the information. Plus, they offer to give you the state dol written test and driving test after course completion, making it that much easier to get the license.

Fantastic experience: i just got done from being a student at a-1 driving school and i must say i just turned 16 and mr.rogers the teacher there has to be the best teacher a drivers ed teacher could possibly be..their hilarious...extremely well taught...know what their doing 100% their extremely flexible their nice to all their students they were super nice to me my drives were absolutely killer and super relaxed and well thorough....if you happen to stop by his classroom tell them brandon engle sent you :P

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience at this driving school. Mr Rogers went above and beyond to help me out, taught me a few new tricks during a practice drive, and taught me many safety rules that most people that i know don't know are safety laws! i'm a very safe driver thanks to him, learned so much. Anyone that talks about getting their license i always point them to Mr Rogers in gig harbor.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Driving School for High School students. I have one son that went and is honestly a better driver then me! "A Driving School" will be seeing my other son too. They have great teachers with good attitudes. They have great class schedules and learn more in a shorter amount of time then the high schools driving class. The price is a little higher but totally worth it.
