Negative experience: The worst to deal with! Can’t believe they are still in business. The reps are rude and unconcerned (and that’s when they bother to answer the phone - and you can forget about a return phone after leaving a message) and the driving instructors are not much better. I went with National for convenience because it was offered through the high school. It was a pain. My son has completed his in-car and now they can’t seem to locate him in their system to issue his certificate. Save yourself the frustration and go with Top Driver! They are professionals.

Fantastic experience: This was a great experience for our daughter! Very organized and seamless experience. Easy to schedule. Driving instructor Erica was the absolute best! Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Terrible the deal with. Rude and they don’t care. They take your money in the beginning and then cancel your car driving because of the cold.. they use the excuse that they don’t want to be responsible for your kid but yet they’re responsible for my kid the moment she gets into the car. Family member also experienced this as well and a week after finishing the in cars this family member still does not have their certificate. The female instructor for the in class portion was wonderful. The female instructor for the cars was nice to my child, but never would respond to text messages, even though she would communicate through texting asking us to respond.

Fantastic experience: Very good in-car instruction. Crystal and Linda were very helpful in the office and did a good job getting my son's lessons scheduled. They also made a special effort to get his completion certificate to me right away.

Fantastic experience: A great experience for my son...instructors were friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, and punctual. Ms. Erica Hitchcock was especially patient and provided a supportive and encouraging environment. The company communicated effectively and in a timely manner.

Negative experience: Would not recommend this driving school for several reasons. 1–not enough driving instructors available when it comes time for your child to do the in car portion. My child completed classroom instruction in February and were offered the in car portion appointment's booking out in April and May. 2–office staff very unprofessional with poor customer service (they act like they’re annoyed that you called them) and they don’t return phone calls even after leaving them a voicemail. 3–the office doesn’t communicate well with their driving instructors, they just very unorganized.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience at this driving school! My younger sister was learning to drive and really enjoyed her entire experience with this group. All the staff are very kind and as accommodating as they can be (i.e. rescheduling her appointments, kind when calling/contacting them). GREAT PLACE!

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience with NDTS. My child got sick and we had to reschedule about six times over the course of a year. Fortunately, with a little patience, they got him scheduled by his junior year. Their flexibility and patience were exceptional.

Negative experience: This company subcontracted the online program to Top Driver which has a very outdated program. That online program is not stable and logged you out frequently. This company doesn't reply your emails and phone calls when you have issues. Once you got to talk to them, the staff are unprofessional, rude and giving you lecture instead of helping you to solve the problems. Find another company if you could!

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience with National driving! Marie in office was polite and helpful with any questions. My son liked the drivers and learned alot. I will definitely be bringing my youngest child next year!

Negative experience: Do not sign up for this company!! They are unprofessional, rude and in the business of taking your money even if you don't ever take the class! Within 30 minutes of paying $409 and reading more details, I felt this was not a good company and I immediately tried to stop my payment. There was no source available to call, text or email National Driver at that time to let them know that I did not want to have my payment processed. I never even began the class, Never once did I ever even log in! When they finally actually confirmed, through THEIR OWN online provider, my legitimacy to be true, in the wake of false accusations and blatant lies it still took Over 100 days to finally get a PARTIAL refund. The Online Coordination Unit (whomever that may be) sent an email written in all caps (no "Hello" in the header and no "thank you" in the closing) stating tuition is non-refundable and there will still be a $49 charge for online fees billed to the driving school. Why am I charged online fees and tuition for a class in which they themselves confirmed have not been taken??? I never began the class, I never ever once logged in, I never received any paperwork/emails to get started in the class, I never ever laid eyes on nor had I spoken to any of their staff members. I had never even physically been to their facility. Amazing! Unprofessional, rude and in the business of taking people's money. Save yourself the stress. Find another company.

Fantastic experience: I have had three children go through their driving program and one this past year 2021. We have had a great experience each time. They have worked with our children's sports schedules and were very accommodating. We are now scheduling the driving portion for our 3rd child and will definitely send our 4th when he is 15. When I call to the Solon office, everyone is very pleasant and helpful.

Negative experience: My grandson showed up for his first driving portion of the class and of course unfortunately he forgot to bring his temps well the driving instructor canceled all of his driving classes all of them I can understand yes it's frustrating but why would you cancel all of his driving classes very very unprofessional and the money was paid up front

Negative experience: Spent close to $400 for my son to take a course through them. Multiples emails not returned, no calls back. I will contact the school district to try to get them to go through another company. Terrible.

Negative experience: Terrible. While some of the issues were caused by Covid, the rest were just a mess. They cancelled all of the road course times, and didn't tell us until we called to see where our instructor was. One of the road course instructors stated how much he hated his job and actually suggested my kid would be better off permanently paralysed so that they would never have to worry about driving again. He was angry to the point of almost violent. I would use any other drivers ed program other than this one. It is convenient that it is through the school, but otherwise it is a total waste of money.

Negative experience: Terribly understaffed and full of excuses. They cancel sessions, don't have staff to reschedule anytime soon, and I was told they wont drive in the sub freezing weather? What? This is OHIO! Thats why they cancelled again today. They have been dragging this out for MONTHS!! Huge regrets using this place!! Will never use them again with my younger boys. What a huge waste of our time!!

Negative experience: This company National Driver Training Ohio dose not have my permission to use my company name "Nation Driver Training Inc". This is a United States Patent and Trademark Corporate name and I am not happy about this branding theft. W. Tully, Austin Texas

Negative experience: Chose any other driving school! My son had classes 3/4-3/14. (The class instructor was late several times which makes the classes run longer than scheduled making parents trying to pick up their children wait.) As recommended, I called after his first week of classes to schedule his in car. Left messages. Emailed. Calls are not returned in a timely manner, if at all. They don't have enough staff for in car instruction, and make no apology for it. They continue to accept students and take money and it takes months to complete the in car portion. Our in car dates were 4/11, 5/6, 5/25, and 6/5. They should warn you that the process will take over 3 months so you should begin classes when your child is 15 1/2 and gets their temps.

Negative experience: My son had to wait 2 months from completing the class to doing his in car driving. Now it has been 2 weeks since he completed the in car and no completion paper yet. Made a call to get another copy. We will see how long this takes. He completed his in car April 17 and it is May 1.

Positive experience: Glad I was able to take the classes at my own school. In car instructor picked me up from my house. I was really nervous, but my instructor was so nice. Got my license :)

Positive experience: The program is decent, however we never received the certificate upon completion. They claimed it was mailed and suggested we wait 2 weeks to see if it will be returned to them. It was never returned to them so we have to pay to get a duplicate copy. That really annoys me because we already paid over $300 for the class. Subpar customer service.

Negative experience: FEMALE INSTRUCTOR AT SOLON HIGH SCHOOL, the first week of August class the instructor "Miss Bev" literally started to belittle my son and bully him along with some more people in the class on the first day. I even recorded the conversation me and her and she even belittled him in front of me. WOW!!!!! I went in as a concerned parent to talk to her about what had happened. He text me during the break say that she was saying some obscene things to him and I even recorded the conversation with her. She was very mean and disrespectful to me and to my son so I withdrew him from the course and before I send him back through this company, the lady has to be removed. I will be letting school officials hear this recording of our conversation.

Negative experience: I have been very unhappy with my experience. We paid $330 for the convenience of it being at my son's school. The in cars were the worst part. They were never on time and they are extremely slow on paperwork. We have been waiting for over 2 weeks and are now making him do a 30 min in car for a scheduling error on their part. We will probably be waiting til after the new year.

Negative experience: my experience was disappointing…but the thing that ticked me off the most is that the instructors can't keep up with their scheduled appointments with their students. I had one last Saturday and they showed up. On 9/17 of September I was supposed to do driving again with an instructor and it was scheduled around 9:45 am in the morning and they never showed up. I have been waiting since 10:30 in the morning and waiting till they show up and they never did.
