Welcome to Maverick Driving Academy, where your safety and confidence behind the wheel are our top priorities. Established in 2011, our academy provides teenage driver education, private driving lessons, and road tests across four convenient locations: Aledo, Burleson, Granbury, and Mansfield.

At Maverick, we are dedicated to teaching students to be safe and defensive drivers. Our experienced instructors, many of whom have backgrounds in public education, employ interactive and updated methods, such as the use of drunk goggles, to teach lessons on drugs and alcohol. You will learn in a supportive environment that ensures all students receive the same quality instruction during each driving session.

Our offerings include a comprehensive driver's education program consisting of 24 hours of theory and 14 hours of in-car instruction, along with online course options and flexible driving schedules. Additionally, we provide DPS driving test preparation with appointments available seven days a week.

Negative experience: When I made an appointment for a personal driver it gave me an account which showed me my appointment information, Except that it did not include a detailed address or more information about my instructor. It gave me the option to see the location by clicking the googles maps option but it kept directing me to the middle of the ocean or a trailer park, I kept calling and emailing during working hours on that Saturday since it said they closed at 6PM, but I did not get a single call back. I did however get a response from a different maverick building and the lady told me she doesn’t know what I should do and she gave me a phone number to call and said they’ll pick up the phones at 3PM and I still got no response. They sent me an email that was a “reminder” but in the reminder where it said the pick up location it was completely blank. I did not want to risk my safety by going to an unfamiliar location with no one confirming it. I really hope I get a full refund because I received 0 help. Update: after my appointment time passed someone decided to call me and ask if I’m canceling my appointment. I was trying to explain to her how I’ve been trying to get ahold of anyone who would help and no one did but she cut me off by saying “okay thank you” and hung up before I was finished. I do not recommend this place at all. Save your time and money.
