Although there are a lot of uncertainties on the road, 1st Time Driving Academy will make sure you’re prepared to respond to any situation. Once you’ve received your license from us, you’ll be a safe, responsible driver and will know how to appropriately and quickly react in any circumstance.
Teens and adults alike will receive the education they need to hit the road and gain driving experience. 1st Time Driving Academy contracts with Washington state to conduct driving and written tests for the Department of Licensing (DOL). We conduct DOL drive testing at our Auburn location. Our educators are the first to be made aware of new traffic laws. We’ll make sure you’re aware of them, too.

Fantastic experience: Cheaper than other academies and its a good driving school, just remember to get your drives early.

Negative experience: Would leave 0/5 stars is possible. I was shocked to see the car was for a driving school company by how recklessly the driver handled the car. Whatever driving instructor drove a Toyota today was very rude, honking, trying to break check me and then proceeded to follow me. I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable as it was an older male. I DO NOT think this company would be a great example for teaching other people the rules of the road. I advise that the instructor practices driving safely and efficiently as you are driving your company’s car with their logo and number on it. Based of other reviews it seems to be a continuous behavior with this company. Again, I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

Fantastic experience: I took a two hour lesson with Dan twice, and that immensely helped me build my driving confidence and even passed my driving test in just 2 months ! Highly recommend to everyone who’s just starting to drive.

Fantastic experience: I passed my final driving test today, all thanks to Driver Dan! Every lesson and every drive I did with him was filled with laughs and valuable learning opportunities. He is one of the funniest and coolest people I know, and he taught me to love driving from the moment I sat behind the wheel. 100% recommend Dan to anyone looking for a fun, reliable, and knowledgeable driving teacher - he is truly the best in the area!

Negative experience: Judging by the moron driving one of their cars (Dark colored Mitsubishi sedan) southbound I-5 at 512 on-ramp...they aren't capable of teaching anyone to drive. Oh, thev"we don't have that car" lie. It has your company name and number on it. Police are smart enough to REMOVE the official markings. Clearly you aren't that bright...hence a poor choice to teach anyone anything
