Negative experience: Do not trust this business; they tried to scam me, and I had to go through UHaul to get my money back. I went to Tag and Title Boutique to drop off my U-Haul reservation. I left the car clean and thought everything was fine. The next day I was charged an $100 cleaning fee. I called because I thought it was a mistake, but I was told I dumped trash behind the business, and people had seen me and recorded me. That was impossible since I did not dump any trash. My U-Haul was to bring large furniture to my new apartment there was never even any trash bags in the truck. I asked to review the footage and was told it would be sent to me. It's been four days, and I have not received any footage, just photos of trash bags nowhere near where I left my truck. I asked the woman on the phone to review the footage, as I was certain I hadn't dumped any trash, but she refused. I had to go through UHaul to get my money back, and I never received any apology or acknowledgment that I was accused of something I did not do and then charged.

I’m sorry this experience left you feeling mistreated, that was never my intention. I’d like to offer clarity on what happened and why.
After your U-Haul was returned, trash was found dumped on the side our property, trash that wasn’t there before your arrival. The next day, local residents approached me saying they witnessed someone dumping it. One reviewed my video footage and identified the man who accompanied you as the person involved. They also said they took photos, but to date, those photos have not been provided to me.
Based on that information, I initially charged a cleaning fee. However, after reconsidering and wanting to give you the benefit of the doubt, I personally contacted U-Haul and requested a full refund of over $200 on your behalf, not just the cleaning fee, but your entire rental. That refund was processed the same day you posted this review.
I also want to be clear: U-Haul handles all payments and fees. My business does not profit from cleaning charges, which makes the idea of me “scamming” anyone both false and unfair.
As for the video footage, I never refused to send it. I told you I would follow up once I received the photos from witnesses and completed my review. Since this happened late Saturday and we’re closed Sundays and Mondays, I had planned to follow up once I got on the office. Unfortunately, your review went up before I had the chance to do that.
Lastly, I’ve seen several negative reviews from individuals who were not customers. I welcome honest feedback, but reviews from friends or family who weren’t part of the experience don’t help anyone and misrepresent the business I work hard to build every day.
I’ve proudly served this community for 7 years and have never been accused of scamming—because I don’t operate that way. I stand on integrity, fairness, and transparency in everything I do.

Negative experience: Went during business hours (2:40pm) and the place was closed. They even had an "open" sign in the door, but the door was locked and no one present. I guess they didn't feel like working today.

I briefly stepped out to grab lunch and, unfortunately, forgot to flip the sign to “closed” before leaving. That was entirely my oversight, and I completely understand how frustrating that must have been — especially during posted business hours.
