St Charles Driving Academy, LLC

Located in Luling, Louisiana, St. Charles Driving Academy, LLC is a premier driving school approved by the Louisiana Department of Transportation, dedicated to providing high-quality driver education for both teens and adults. With over 100 years of combined teaching experience among their team of 12 certified instructors—including owners Roger Folse and Kevin Robicheaux—the academy ensures a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for all students.

The academy stands out by completing the required 8 hours of behind-the-wheel training more efficiently than other schools. For added convenience, they offer free home pickup and drop-off services for the driving portion of the course, meaning students only need to attend the classroom sessions in person. All students also receive a complimentary 140-page color driver guide handbook to support their learning.

Course offerings are flexible and affordable, with standard packages priced at $500 for both under-18 and 18+ students. The academy also caters to Spanish-speaking communities with specialized classes available. Beyond classroom theory, St. Charles Driving Academy provides the Road Skills Test (RST) on-site, making the licensing process seamless. For those who have already completed classroom instruction elsewhere, an 8-hour behind-the-wheel only option is available. Customer satisfaction is paramount, with testimonials highlighting the friendly instructors, easy scheduling, and the unique convenience of taking the DMV test directly at their Luling location.
