Since 1959, Dudley's Driving Center Inc. has been a cornerstone of driver education in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. Founded by Sadie Belle Howell-Dudley, this family-run institution has grown from a local community staple into a fully licensed driving and CDL school, now led by third-generation owner Thomas E. Dudley II. With over 50,000 students trained, the center is renowned for its patient, courteous, and safe teaching environment that serves both teenagers and adults.

Offering a comprehensive range of services, Dudley's provides everything from learner’s permit manual reviews and driver improvement courses to behind-the-wheel instruction for teens and adults. They also specialize in Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training, including Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT), Class A and B certifications, and specialized endorsements for Hazmat, tanker, and passenger vehicles. Additionally, they offer re-exam preparation for those who have failed the DMV test multiple times.

Trusted by major corporate partners such as FedEx, UPS, Amazon, and the VA Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as local school systems, Dudley's Driving Center Inc. combines decades of experience with modern training standards. Located at 10860 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, the school continues its multi-generational legacy of prioritizing safety and professional excellence, inviting you to "Learn to Drive & Smile."
