Established in 1999, O'Neill's Driving School is proudly recognized as the premier driving institution on the Yorktown Peninsula. With a legacy of continuous operation and a solid reputation for excellence, we are dedicated to fostering safe, confident drivers through comprehensive education and practical training.

We cater to both teens and adults, offering flexible solutions to meet Virginia DMV requirements. Our classroom instruction comes in two formats: traditional in-class sessions led by experienced instructors, or a convenient self-paced online course designed to fit your busy schedule. Additionally, we provide an 8-hour recertification course for permit seekers and specialized Driver Improvement clinics aimed at reducing points or meeting court and insurance mandates.

Behind the wheel, our certified professionals guide teens through the mandatory 7-day, 14-period training program, while adults can benefit from private lessons to sharpen their skills before the final road test. Safety and trust are our top priorities; all our instructors are formally trained, bonded, and pass annual FBI background checks. Furthermore, our modern fleet undergoes strict annual DMV inspections to ensure peak safety.

Embracing innovation, we are now offering LifeSafer Intelligent Speed Assistance technology, helping students master speed awareness from day one. With competitive pricing and a commitment to customer service, O'Neill's Driving School is your trusted partner for achieving driving independence. Contact us today to schedule your course.

Fantastic experience: I recommend Mr barbee. For the complaints about the paperwork it’s not the driving schools fault it is due to richmond taking long to ship the paperwork back to the dmv. I have improved so much while taking this course and it is super popular around where I live. Mr barbee is a great teacher and a great person as well.

Negative experience: Paid a lot of money for my daughter's drivers license, she passed onell's test and waited and waited for dmv to send the license but when we went to dmv they informed us that onealls never sent in the paperwork. Tried numerous times to get in touch with the driving school but never got any answers or calls back. They do not deliver on their claims. Crooks that will steal your money!!!

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience at this driving school. My instructor, Ms Pat, was terrific. I was waiting for the school day to be over so she could pick me up and drive around, and I could tell her about my day and how school was going. She was a great instructor and had terrific tips and tricks for driving. I know all the other drivers are fantastic, too
