Negative experience: Terrible terrible experience, unprofessional instructors , rude, and will set you up for failure. You’ll barely get any seat time in the trucks and if you’re even a minute or two late … LITERALLY A MINUTE or 2 late , you’ll get written up. They have the lowest success rate in Ohio for students passing, if you want to go through 160 go to the Toledo yard. You’ll thank me.

Positive experience: Everyone from enrollment processing to the truck range treated me like family. Because they care, by listening, instructions were simple. And the instructors on the truck range shown their care by making sure I got each maneuvers right before I moved to an other maneuver. But there is one problem. The trucks are NOT fit to train in because they are too old and broke down.

Positive experience: School instructors are great, but all the trucks needs repairs trucks in real bad shape.

Fantastic experience: The instructors were all professional and very knowledgeable. They were able to explain and simplify things, that to me seemed complex. The only thing I would improve is the quality of the trucks and the amount that we’re actually operable.

Fantastic experience: 160 Driving Academy has been a great experience for me the teachers/instructors are very knowledgeable and have tons of experience if you listen to them and are really diligent about learning all the material you'll be out trucking in no time.

Fantastic experience: I’m a recent graduate From 160 It was a great experience I Want to thank all the Staff in Medina not only did they take the time to show me what I needed to know, but they also made it fun for me to learn it as well. Doc is the best instructor To show someone the correct way to use a manual transmission not Plus, he got a good sense of humor, Mike is A great fit to show students how to Do the offset maneuver he also make it fun I still use The pizza burrito and taco method to this day only ppl that have work with him will understand. All the instructors are great And they will teach you how to pass the test but to be honest it’s up to u to Embrace and apply the knowledge they give you. if u have a problem with anything talk to Erick and he will deal with it accordingly. I just want to say thank yall again and Erick you have a great team of instructors #manual is the real way to drive a truck don’t be scared

Fantastic experience: I went in not knowing much about obtaining my cdl, I've dealt with airbrakes before but I can honestly say I didn't realize what went into it. I learned a lot in the time I was there. only issue I had was being told it was 4 weeks total by the office (1 week in class, 3 in the yard) it is in fact NOT. I'd prepare for 5 to 6 weeks for I had told my employer it was a total of 4 weeks as I was told from lady on phone and ran into timing issues for returning to work. overall it is a good school, good instructors, just ascert yourself and you will achieve. very knowledgeable staff friendly staff and willing to answer questions you have. thank you 160 for teaching me class A cdl level training. I was well prepared for when I took my tests. 1 and done.

Fantastic experience: Huge shoutout To The Medina yard. The instructors Doc, Mike, Warren and dre and Eric. They teach you the step to pass. I learned alot from them guys. I passed my CDL. There are times were instructors are a little hard on you because they’re trying to teach you. All I can say is be patient and learn from your mistakes And take the steps They teach you and you’ll be all right.

Positive experience: I'm currently attending and I wouldn't recommend if your paying out of pocket. You waste time for hours waiting for instructors while they tell you to do pre trip for hours throughout the day only one road instructor and breaks are way to long

Fantastic experience: Went here to get my CDL for work. Took a few tries to get it but they didn’t give up. The instructors can seem tough but that’s because they want to see you do well and be safe out there. Thank you so much to Dre, Warren, Mike, Chad, Don, Doc, and Eric! I don’t know if I would have gotten through it without your guidance and support! Thank you all for keeping on us to not give up and pushing us to get through it. I was so glad to finally go from student to a license holder with your support. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I just finished the VPC virtual training with 160 Driving Academy taught by Liz out of Cleveland, she was professional, friendly and very informative as an instructor. I appreciate all the time she put into her preparation prior to the class and would recommend her class to anyone starting their journey to earning a CDL. I look forward to leaving a review after I complete the next step of the in yard training by 160.

Fantastic experience: If your thinking about getting your CDL, this school is the place to be. They helped me through each step along the way and made a long process seem easier. Each instructor at the school impacted me with experience and teaching styles. I want to shout out to instructor Ed, who spent the most time with me. Fantastic experience: Anyone who wants to get their license can come to 160 driving, it is a good academy and they teach you everything you need to learn to drive a truck, John in the office is spectacular, he helps you in everything and in the yard lb the head of the yard and all the teachers are the best, they teach you everything you need to learn and do things well, I recommend the school. thanks to all

Fantastic experience: I want to give a big shout out to John, Marianne, all of the instructors & even my classmates. I would 10/10 recommend this CDL School to anyone, everyone is dedicated and determined to help you reach the end goal in anyway that they possibly can. Regardless of any negative reviews come and find out for yourself! You can do anything you put your mind to, and all of the instructors definitely give you all the information/ tips you need to know. It’s clear they want to see you succeed just as bad as you want to yourself!!

Negative experience: Not a place to encourage someone to go. Just two licenses instructors and it also takes more than three months to complete the training instead of 1 month. A lot of discriminations and racism. After finishing the training you will be forced to wait home for a month before testing dates. I spent 180hrs in the yet and never had the opportunity to finish my driving time because of limited road instructors.

Also to the following Truck Range instructor’s Jeff, James, Ed, Doc, Dan, Don and Dre your knowledge and wisdom is much appreciated at all times and each of you are a piece to my Success. I can Proudly say I’m a ONE and Done student/driver who PASSED my CDL State Exam and Graduated. True Success comes over time not over night!

Positive experience: My experience there was omg crazy. If it had not been for Miss Hattie and Jeff I would of failed!! Miss Hattie was one of the BEST instructor there!!! She came in every day and was helping her students through the whole process. She didn’t have a attitude either. Jeff and Miss Hattie they really do care about their students getting their CDL’s. This is the only reason why I’m giving this three stars. Miss Hattie and Jeff I just wanted to say I thank you from the bottom of my heart you two made my dream come true!!! Fantastic experience: The course is short so you have to pay attention and make every minute count. If you're not 100% committed, then this isn't for you. Attitude is everything! The staff is willing to teach you and give you all the tools you need to be successful. It's what you make it! Took the test and passed on the first try with no previous truck driving experience. I never even driven a stick before I started the course. Come in ready to learn and ready to work and you'll be fine.

It was a good experienceand and a fast one, but also you have to remember its about what you want from it. Work hard and get your results. The teacher and equipment are there for you. And when you're there all the students become family Work with each other and help each other it makes it more fun and easy. Negative experience: I tried calling simply to recieve more information about the classes and the chick spoke to me like it was a problem for me to be on the phone with her. She had an attitude out this world my first time calling.

Fantastic experience: Peace Man though I didn't get a 1in done this is far out one of the fastest learning experiences I have ever had and in the beginning I thought that it could not be done and 160 hours but they showed me that it could be done with the proper knowledge wisdom and understanding of how to do a pre-trip learning all the Maneuvers and downshifting upshifting on the road. I recommend this to all my Bros I'm really want to get some money and take care of a family this is the place to come to peace!

Negative experience: A 4 week class turned into 12 weeks class due to faulty equipment, disorganized and lying from management and teachers, forging of documents and drive times, overloaded classes. One of the worst experiences of my life!!! When looking to change careers DO NOT go here if you actually want to learn and not teach yourself.
