Fantastic experience: I wanted to send a compliment and thank you to Rafat from the North Olmsted location. Rafat was my son’s instructor for all four of his in-car sessions. My son is extremely shy and I could tell he was nervous for his in-car sessions. Rafat was very professional and always on time for the sessions. He would talk to me after each session on what my son did well, and what he needed to work on before his driving test. I really appreciated that feedback. My son said Rafat taught him a lot and gave him a lot of tips that would help him be a better driver. He even asked if all of his sessions could be with Rafat. That says a lot about Rafat as an instructor! Teenagers rarely give compliments. Thank you again for making this experience a pleasant one. Keep up the good work, Rafat! Kristen Richardson
Fantastic experience: My name is Alex and I am a student at Professional Driving School and I am extremely grateful for my instructor Rafat, he was never rude once and we even had some laughs in the car. He was extremely professional the entire time and made things simple to understand and many tips for some of the more complex things. I highly recommend Rafat for the BTW training.
Fantastic experience: To the 3 individuals that wrote 3 comments full of lies about 2 of the best instructors. First of all you are not students. Mira, you are not a student so how could the instructor have been unprofessional or yell at you? Stop lying! He did his best to help the student your talking for in a calm and professional manner. Not everyone gets it the first time they do it. Appreciate what he did for the student. These instructors go out of their way to help. Please, I’ll say it again because this instructor certainly did not do what you’re stating, STOP LYING!!! Now for the other 2, Wafa and Deedee please stop lying! The student didn’t complete the lesson. The student never left the house because there was another student in the car that was supposed to be driven home. Your last male instructor told you the classes are back to back which means, yes, there will be someone else in the car. The instructor, the student that WAS driving, and the student that will BEGIN their lesson. The student that was supposed to begin the lesson was the rude one. You are not untitled to special treatment because you paid. You’re paying so you can fulfill the Ohio driving requirements for teenagers. Paying doesn’t give you the right to treat instructors poorly. The majority of the money is not going the instructor. In regards to the $30 you where asked to pay; that is because you refused to complete your class with one of the most respected instructor by students and teachers alike. You wasted his time, meaning he doesn’t get paid. The small $30 fee you’re complaining about covers your cancellation. Please stop spreading lies!
Negative experience: Beware of Unprofessional Behavior from RAFAT! I had an extremely unpleasant experience with a driving instructor named Rafat. He was not only late but also extremely rude and disrespectful throughout the lesson. When I got into the car, he had a bad attitude for no apparent reason, and his anger was palpable. I calmly told him that I didn’t feel comfortable continuing the lesson because of his behavior, and that’s when he completely exploded. He said some truly awful things, so I left the car. To make things worse, the driving school charged me a $30 cancellation fee for “wasting the instructor’s time,” even though I never canceled the lesson. This fee was apparently going directly to Rafat. When I called the school to explain the situation and share my concerns about Rafat’s behavior, I was met with two extremely rude women who didn’t let me explain my side of the story. Instead, they threatened to deactivate my account and prevent me from taking any further lessons unless I paid the fee. I had actually been warned by my previous instructor, Hikmet, about Rafat’s rude and controlling behavior, and unfortunately, Hikmet’s warnings were spot on. Rafat’s unprofessionalism made me feel unsafe, and I will never go back to him. I strongly advise others to avoid him as well if you value your safety and respect during lessons.
Negative experience: My daughter's experience with Professional Driving School was terrible, and a big part of that was due to the instructor, Rafat. Before her lesson with him, another instructor, Hekmat, warned her that Rafat was rude and overly controlling, wanting everything done strictly his way. That should have been a red flag, but unfortunately, we didn't cancel her class. Rafat's behavior confirmed everything Hekmat said. He was not only rude but also had no patience. when I called to complain, the staff hung up on me and refused to let me speak with the manager. Their lack of professionalism and accountability is appalling. strongly advise against this school. The instructors should be supportive and patient, and the administration should be willing to address concerns. Sadly, this school fails on all fronts. Look elsewhere if you want a safe and positive learning environment.
