Fantastic experience: My instructor was amazing. Only constructive criticism I would have is I wish i had more encouragement to take the exam and a solid "plan" set up with them on when exactly to take it.

Negative experience: My instructor seemed to be a nice person but could use some job training and professionalism. A coach should not always tell the students that they are not listening or berating their learning speed. If something is unclear to the students, explain clearly. I guess it’s easier to know how to drive but much harder to be good teacher. I took a lesson.

Fantastic experience: Man was not what I expected! The 2 guys that run it are amazing. Not like the hotel hells you've heard of! Only thing I'd say is make sure you bring your own snack and in between meals.

Negative experience: I the instructor was late 10 minutes to appointment then miss informed me about information gas’s lighting me into thinking me asking for clarification and going on based what I was told just to get called difficult is crazy to me and the person was right there when i got the information smh do not go to black businesses and it would be the person that miss informed fault that you heard informed me this while I was making the appointment and said nothing.

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience at 1st Choice Authorized Driving! My driving instructor was Paris, who was wonderful; both patient and firm at the same time, and gave great advice and guidance. Everyone I engaged with who worked there was nothing but friendly, polite and competent. I can only highly recommend!

Negative experience: she fell asleep on my drive and we went 20 minutes over the scheduled end time and was pretty grumpy at times, the classroom could have been been nicer and the teacher mostly talked about her life stories or something not related to driving

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience today with the instructor named Paris. I needed a private lesson to learn how to successfully navigate the Ohio maneuverability test. Paris is a very patient and pleasant person who is an excellent teacher. His clear and systematic instructions were easy to understand and implement. Negative experience: I witnessed terrible careless driving instruction after business hours...hope they not teaching ppl to drive like that ijs

Negative experience: My daughter went here at the behest of her grandmother. That was a few months ago, she has yet to be able to do her road hours and when I call I get the run around. Would NOT recommend. But the time she gets her license messing around with them she’ll be 18 and this school would’ve been a complete waste of money. Reply to Owner: Yes, numerous times. The student your referencing is my sister. Im talking about my daughter.

Fantastic experience: I purchased the Private Lessons (Adult Classes)- I can affirm that it is worth the investment. Instructor Paris is very acute and attentive when it comes to the student drivers' progress and he gauges very well. He offers excellent instruction on how to master the road. My confidence in driving flourished with this service and I passed my road test the first time without point deductions! Moreover, communication was very clear for setting up appointments and pick up. I highly recommend this service!

Fantastic experience: This one of the best second driving school I went to paris he is awesome he is so kind and patience. This school is very reasonable it was all because of him I passed my driving test and I am now driving. If I were to prefer this school to someone it will be this one thank you again 1st choice....

Negative experience: I’m sitting here with my grand daughter waiting on the lady instructor for her second day of driving , she said she would be late yesterday but she has not called today to even say she’s coming or not coming. I called the office at 10:30 no one answered the phone so I left a message . I can see why they want their money up front , not very dependable I would say ..

Fantastic experience: First Choice Driving School is a wonderful driving school! I had several driving lessons with Paris, and he was always incredibly patient, attentive, reassuring, and calm. I had always been almost paralyzingly nervous about driving, but Paris made me feel that whatever pace I was meant to progress at was totally okay and valid. I felt taken care of through this process and passed my road test with flying colors - something I never thought would be a possibility for me. I would not have been able to reach this milestone without First Choice Driving School. I highly recommend this company. Thank you so much!

Positive experience: My son loves it there for driving school. He’s 16 and has his temps. There are really backed up with the driving portion of the school. There are three driving instructors. I was told they are getting to the students that completed the June classes now. It’s Aug. 9.? Not sure will my son will drive

Positive experience: I honestly couldn’t be more upset right now. The in class part of what I paid for was amazing. Great teachers great classmates. Just 10/10 but for my in cars I was given a lady to message after I paid the other half of my payment. When I received her number I text her and we discussed a date for my in cars at the end of June (not a specific date) so I text her (2-3 weeks later) to see when I would be able to do my In cars and I can schedule my test at the dmv from them being booked up because of COVID. And she responded telling me “I’m off road” meaning she can’t do my in cars anymore. I completely understand but it’s the fact that u had to message her in order to find out and how I have to find a new instructor and fit into their backed up schedule and wait even longer.

Fantastic experience: Words can't describe how amazing these guys are! Ty handles all of the appts. He's very patient , kind , resourceful & so much more!!!. & Paris IS THE MAN WITH THE PLAN.... Lol.. He's FREAKING AWESOME! Like I said Words Can't Describe How They Operate. They Are Really 1ST Choice!!☺ .... My advice to the Public.. Choose 1st Choice Driving! You won't be mad. & REMEMBER.. Fantastic experience: This driving school was the second one attempted . I tried Pro Driving school first. I had an impatient instructor and customer service personnel are rude. 1st choice authorized driving school has great customer service. And the instructor Paris is the best. I was a first time driver, took 8 lessons and passed the test my 1st try ever. He is very patient and just overall has a great personality, also experienced knowledgeable driver. They do call you to confirm your appointment beforehand whether it's customer service or the instructor, so the instructor doesn't waste his/her time driving to your home. Instructor also calls upon arrival. If you miss them just call back. I didn't have any issues at all. They also charge extra for longer distances out of their service area. It's worth it !

Negative experience: I paid upfront for driving instruction with 1st Choice for my 18 year old son which was to include using their car for taking the test. They made us set the appointment a full month and a week in advance, because according to them they were very busy. On the day of the highly anticipated driving and driving test appointment, they did not even show up. Totally unprofessional. My son was very disappointed. I paid for the session upfront and have yet to receive my requested refund which I demanded immediately. I will file a lawsuit in the coming days. I find their customer service and overall business practices abhorrent and I would highly advise against using their services.

Fantastic experience: I never in my life do reviews, and believe me when I say I am writing this review to help others. I had Paris 3 times for behind the wheel for 2 hours each time. From someone who only had two practices with their father , Paris taught me a lot especially maneuverability! One turn , two turn , one , literally! I passed my driving exam today and if it wasn’t for Paris , I wouldn’t know how to drive. Thank you Paris !

Fantastic experience: Ms. Hall is the best with helping students understand every thing on the road. She is such a wonderful teacher. When I first started I told her that I was nervous to do the maneuverability part of the driving test, she then said to me don't be nervous we're going to get you together. Ms.Hall's "smiley" method was the best thing ever and "go to money and away from danger. " I recommend Ms. Hall for anyone ready to learn.

Fantastic experience: I loved this driving school. Had to take the adult abbreviated classes and it was a pretty good price. Had an 4 hour class and 4 hours on the road. My instructor Esther was very helpful with helping me with this course. She was so helpful that I passed the driving exam on the first try. If your an adult or teenager needing help with driving 1st Choice is the way to go

Fantastic experience: I am in the process of completing the 8 hour Abbreviated Drivers Course. Today I finished the 4 hour classroom instruction with Esther. She is very nice. I look forward to the 4 hours of on road instruction I'm going to have with her.

Fantastic experience: My son needed to get lessons in order to retake the manueverbility test. This location offered the best price. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I have a teenage daughter who will soon need driver's education and I will definitely take her here.

Fantastic experience: Took this school when I turned 16. Didn’t know a thing about maneuverability. Couldn’t get in our out right lol. But Mrs. Foote was the best teacher, she taught me right! I passed my drivers test on the first try and I’ve made absolutely no mistakes or errors. Thanks first choice!

Fantastic experience: I took the abbreviated 8-hour behind-the-wheel private lesson with First Choice and passed the driving exam with a 90/100 on my first try without much other guidance. I was so impressed by how easy my instructor made it. My instructor was the most laid-back person I've ever seen. Driving for the first time on the highway is scary, but his calm demeanor kept me calm, relaxed, and safe. He told me that he's been doing this for 22 years, which explains why he seemed to be such an expert. He never freaked out, even when my noob driving caused me to stop in the middle of an intersection with cars going 35 all around me. He knows the test backwards and forwards, along with every road in Cleveland. I guess that's the kind of knowledge you accumulate by living here all your life and being a driving instructor for 22 years. He knows all the potholes, all the little tips and tricks to be a safe driver, along with an impeccable understanding of the standards that the test holds drivers to. I highly recommend First Choice. In fact, I have already recommended it to several of my friends. If you want to learn how to drive safe, First Choice is the way to go.
