Experienced Instructors and a Supportive Learning Environment
Jordan Driving School offers comprehensive driver education programs designed to help students gain the confidence and skills necessary for safe driving. While experiences can vary, many students and parents highlight the exceptional quality of their behind-the-wheel instructors. Positive reviews frequently praise coaches who are patient, professional, and dedicated to making the learning process stress-free. For instance, instructors like Coach Epps, Coach Owens, and Ms. Butts have been commended for their ability to build student confidence, using humor and clear communication to create a relaxed atmosphere in the car.
- Personalized Attention: Students often note that their instructors take the time to ensure they are comfortable with every driving maneuver, offering encouraging feedback rather than criticism.
- Skilled Coaching: Instructors such as Maurice Frink, Darryl Robinson, and Mr. Hunter are described as straight-talking, observant, and highly effective at teaching defensive driving techniques.
- Positive Atmosphere: Many students report that their instructors made driving fun and less intimidating, helping nervous learners overcome their fears.
Comprehensive Driver Education Curriculum
The school provides a structured curriculum that includes both classroom instruction and practical behind-the-wheel training. This dual approach ensures that students understand the theoretical aspects of traffic laws and safety before applying them on the road. The program is designed to be thorough, covering essential topics that prepare students for their permit tests and eventual licensure. Some students have appreciated the hands-on nature of the driving portion, noting that they learned more in the car than in the classroom setting.
Convenient School Partnerships and Flexible Scheduling
Jordan Driving School collaborates with various high schools and educational institutions, making it accessible for students to complete their requirements without significant disruption to their daily schedules. Classes are often held at school campuses, such as Olympic High School and Panther Creek High, providing a familiar and convenient environment for learners. This integration allows students to complete their education as part of their school day, reducing the need for additional travel. The school aims to accommodate student schedules, although some parents recommend proactive communication to ensure timely scheduling of driving sessions.
Commitment to Student Safety and Confidence
A key focus of the driving instruction is fostering defensive driving habits and ensuring student safety. Instructors who receive high marks for their teaching methods emphasize patience and clear instruction, helping students develop the reflexes and awareness needed for real-world driving. Parents and students alike value the supportive environment created by top-rated instructors, who go above and beyond to ensure that each student feels prepared and confident before hitting the road independently.
Jordan Driving School: Reviews

Negative experience: I am a parent, this driving school instructors can significantly hinder a student's ability to learn safe and effective driving skills. Also Students don’t need 2h30 from 4pm to 6:30pm for this class because they end up not finishing their school assignments on time, one of the instructors you can hear kids talking in the back during the class session that is supposed to be quite and calm, and I am wondering why the reviews are 2.8 stars from 5,beside, here are some common traits or behaviors that might characterize a poor driving instructor: 1. **Lack of Patience**: An instructor who gets easily frustrated or angry with students can create a stressful learning environment, making it difficult for students to focus and learn. 2. **Poor Communication Skills**: If an instructor cannot clearly explain driving concepts, techniques, or safety rules, students may struggle to understand and apply what they are being taught. 3. **Inconsistent Feedback**: Instructors who provide inconsistent or unclear feedback can confuse students, making it hard for them to know what they are doing right or wrong. 4. **Lack of Professionalism**: This can include being late to lessons, using inappropriate language, or not taking the lessons seriously. Such behavior can undermine the student's confidence and respect for the instructor. 5. **Over-reliance on Fear Tactics**: Some instructors might use fear or intimidation to try to teach, which can be counterproductive and lead to anxiety or a lack of confidence in the student. 6. **Inadequate Knowledge or Skills**: An instructor who lacks up-to-date knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle mechanics, or teaching methodologies may provide outdated or incorrect information. 7. **Neglecting Safety**: Safety should always be a top priority. Instructors who do not emphasize safety or who take unnecessary risks during lessons are failing in their primary responsibility. 8. **Favoritism or Bias**: Showing favoritism or being biased towards certain students can create an unfair learning environment and demotivate others. 9. **Inflexibility**: Instructors who are not willing to adapt their teaching methods to suit the individual needs of their students may not be effective in helping all students succeed. 10. **Lack of Encouragement**: Positive reinforcement is crucial in learning. Instructors who do not encourage or praise students for their progress can demoralize them. If you encounter a driving instructor who exhibits these behaviors, it may be worth considering finding a new instructor or reporting the issues to the driving school's management. A good driving instructor should be patient, knowledgeable, professional, and focused on helping you become a safe and confident driver.
Negative experience: Mr Walker, one of the behind-the-wheel instructors, is extremely rude and aggressive at the point where waiting for the classes isn’t even worth it.
