A+ Driving School is a local Minnesota company dedicated to helping our students become responsible drivers. Our students not only learn the rules of the road, but they become courteous and safe drivers through our professional classroom teaching and industry-leading behind-the-wheel instruction. All of our instructors are licensed by the Department of Public Safety and have passed state required background checks. We offer both Classroom and Behind the Wheel lessons in all of Minnesota.

Fantastic experience: My Daughter just had her 1st BTW with Hannah. It was a great experience, Hannah was very professional, she gave great information and instructions. Learning to drive is stressful, but after her first lesson, my daughter felt more confident and relaxed. Thank you.

Negative experience: We had a good and not so good experience with A+ driving school behind the wheel today, hence my low rating. Two different instructors, 2 completely different experiences. One daughter had a wonderful instructor who took her 30+ miles around the area, one way streets, round abouts, plus parking practice. She came back all smiles saying she felt she could take her test and pass today. Twin sister sat in the parking lot 20 minutes before they started driving 3 blocks, her instructor took the next 30 minutes to let her drive less than 2 miles stopping to “talk” to her about driving rules for most of the time. (Isn’t this supposed to be driving practice, not classroom time). Then she drove a mile to a parking lot to practice parking for 45 minutes. She came back all frustrated and discouraged as her instructor got her all confused and provided confusing and difficult to understand driving instructions. (I was tracking her location so I have records of where she was and when) Less than 4 miles of total driving occurred in what should have been over an hour of driving time and a 2 hour total lesson. Yes I did call A+ Driving School to give Kudos to the first teacher and inform about the concerns about the second teacher. But according to second teacher, the lesson went well. And according to the site supervisor, all they could do is ensure we didn’t get that instructor again as second daughter did technically get 2 hours behind the wheel. Very frustrating and discouraging.

Thanks for the review. We appreciate the good review on our first instructor. Our second instructor has been with us for over 5 years and hasn't ever received a complaint so we were surprised to hear this review. He is very thorough and works well with students. Some students need extra help and require more instruction and the safest way is to pull over and discuss. We expect the next lesson to be a great experience as she will have more time to get ready.
