Ryan was my driving instructor who really helped me feel confident behind the wheel and Ron was my driving test instructor who before my test made sure I was ready for the test. Fantastic experience: I had great driving lessons with Instructor Ron to help prepare me for the road test. He went very in-depth with the knowledge needed to pass, as well as lots of important information to know for driving in California. He helps you get in the right habits - if you are used to driving in other countries for example - and he is understanding about your situation. In the lead up to the test, he makes you feel very prepared and calm! I would definitely recommend Oxford Driving School - they are very responsive, on time, and eager to help you.

Fantastic experience: Passed! I passed with only 5 error. I had about 5-6 lesson with Ron. Driving is first time to me, I was a total novice. But Ron teaching me really professional, explane rules one step at a time, again and again for me. I totally recommend him And the costomer urgant Korean lady was always kind! Fantastic experience: Instructor Ron was very helpful in teaching me how to drive properly. He doesn't let the mistakes, big or small, go unnoticed and makes sure you practice and weed out bad habits. After only a couple lessons I was ready to take the test, and though I failed my first test due to anxiety issues, he helped me prepare enough to pass it with flying colors on my second attempt.

Fantastic experience: I had five driving lessons with instructor Ron. He was really patient and helpful. I did not have any previous driving experience and was really nervous but since the first day he guided me and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. I passed my behind the wheel test on my first try, I felt prepared and it was exactly how Ron had described it and his tips really helped a lot. Also thank you to Instructor Chris for accompanying me to the DMV and allowing me to use his car for the exam.

Of course you get the jitters first couple of lessons but after I set that date at the dmv for the test everything just set in! I also did not have anybody that could lend me a car and accompany me to my test appointment - and oxfords test service made it so easy to get it done. They picked me up, gave me a little warmup before and drove me home after the completed test. Really recommended

Fantastic experience: I love Ron! He was so patient with me and kind also. He would always make me laugh it was like an old friend teaching me how to drive. He taught me all the rules of the road, and how to be a defensive driver, and what the DMV examiners will looking out for. Fantastic experience: Ron is the man! While I have been driving in Australian internationally for 20 years, Ron made the transition seamless and easy in California. He was knowledgeable, reliable but most importantly calm and collected. He knew I could drive and never once made me feel uneasy. If only he was my teacher, when I first ever got a license!! Fantastic experience: This driving school is amazing. They give very practical tips and tricks that break down driving into a very clear, step-by-step process. The instructors are very detailed oriented in pointing out mistakes yet very kind and constructive with their feedback. They are able to simulate the conditions of your actual road exam with a lot of accuracy—their goal is to get you to pass a very detailed oriented road test and they help you achieve just that! 11/10 driving school.

Fantastic experience: Yayy!! I passed the driving test today! I had a great time with Jay, he’s a fabulous teacher. I learnt to drive in LA so quickly, and passed the driving test in first go because he taught me everything perfectly. They always send reminders ahead of time and are very upfront about their price point. I was a very nervous driver and would get anxious on the road. Although I mainly took my lessons with Instructor Jay, all instructors are very professional and kind, and definitely knowledgeable about all rules of the road. Instructor Jay was very patient, and helped me become a much more confident driver. I finally got my license today!

He was extremely kind, patient, knowledgeable and uses personalized methods to help his students on areas needing improvement resulting in me passing on my first try. Apart from that, he was punctual, had a clean car, accommodated all my scheduling changes and always had a fun, positive attitude. This a great school to learn driving at especially with Chris as the instructor!

Fantastic experience: Good driving, for the reason that, Chris, the instructor, allowed me to first master the tips on driving, and afterwards lets me to put it into real application. Negative experience: Terrible and Unprofessional Establishment. I would advise going anywhere but here. You won't learn how to drive, but you'll definitely waste your money. Instructors are aggressive and unhelpful, control and interfere with your driving 24/7, instead of giving you feedback and comments on how to improve. Instructors are honestly really unprofessional and fail to bring up a lot of important driving rules.

Negative experience: The car was clean, and the pick up was convenient. However the instructor, Chris was really graphic and the manner in which he spoke in made me extremely uncomfortable. He kept commenting on women on the street which was not the most pleasant thing to hear. Can't comment about other instructors at this school, but avoid Chris.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Ron for being an outstanding instructor , I have passed my drivers exam and now am proud to say I am a licensed driver ! Prior to taking lessons I had failed my drivers test 3 times due to lack of knowledge of defensive driving . My first instructor was Chris and he was also great , but felt I could use a little more practice , so I then rescheduled with Ron , and decided to go with confidence and attempt my drivers test . And I PASSED ! Thank you so much Ron for helping me achieve and reach this major milestone in my life I will be taking more classes in the future just to keep my skills as keen as possible . I highly would recommend taking lessons with them , they are Great

Fantastic experience: I had some driving experience but not enough, if any, awareness for the DMV test. The instructor Chris gave me enough practice sessions to safely drive and succeed the driving test in a single attempt. My schedule for these were 4 sessions in a single week, but this can vary by matching availability. Chris left me many driving tips to maneuver the roads safely and efficiently. Overall a great experience and a great teacher!

Fantastic experience: Ron is an awesome instructor, very patient and detailed in explaining the dos and don’ts on the road. What he taught was not only helpful in passing tests but also important in the future when driving in more complex environments (defensive driving was especially emphasized!). I’m happy to say that I passed with only 3 minor errors when the passing cutoff was 15 :D

Fantastic experience: My experience was amazing about this place! First, the communication with the office was great, the staff is really nice people and always super helpful. Most of the time I talked with Sunny, she was always very sweet and flexible about schedules. I’ve failed 3 times on the behind the wheel test, so I decided to try the classes before trying my fourth attempt. My instructor Ron was very professional, patient and With a lot of knowledge about all the rules of regulation. He made me feel very confident for the test. I passed the test with Minus 3 Points at the first try! They are great with beginners and foreign people as well. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I am an experienced driver who recently moved to the US and needed a driving school to help me prepare for the test as well as provide a car for the day of the driving test. They exceeded my expectations with their quality of service and professionalism. Ron is an amazing instructor with great attention to detail. He helped me quickly understand all the rules that I needed to follow during the test, we practiced a lot and he kept giving me advice and instructions even after I had succeeded in the test. Very professional approach. Tip for experienced drivers: Knowing how to drive and succeeding the driving test are two different things. Make sue you get a couple of lessons before you try the actual test. You are going to save money eventually.

Negative experience: Instructor was 2 hours late and was impatient with me. Had brakes on his side but insisted on using a stick to use the brakes on my side and would steer for me instead of letting me steer on own. He wouldn’t let go of the steering wheel and I was not able to actually drive. He also scheduled to give me two more lessons but he forgot and scheduled with someone else on those days and had to reschedule me to fit into his schedule. That is when I decided that would be my last lessons Very bad experience overall. I would recommend going somewhere else if you really want to learn how to drive. Worst $100 spent.

Fantastic experience: I had one lesson with Andrew today. He was clear and encouraging, and also very friendly to chat with. I'm licensed but out of practice and new to LA, so the lesson was worth it! Helped me get comfortable behind the wheel on busy streets and freeways. We focused mainly on turning through busy intersections and merging lanes, and did some freeway driving. I feel much more confident now!
