Their administrative assistant, Ari, was very patient and helpful with my teen when they had to reschedule both the class and testing due to inclement weather. She also went above and beyond to iron out wrinkles with DPS with rescheduling and paperwork.

Fantastic experience: My kids both did their lessons through the NEISD program, and did their road tests here. This is a great resource in our community. I loved having all paperwork including road test complete before heading to DPA appointment. The road test was done by a retired police officer. Negative experience: Thinking back to this place now as a 33 year old and I still freeze up thinking about how traumatic the experience was here, how unsafe I felt as a younger person. An instructor physically abused me and when I reported him, he was defended and I was further disrespected. There is no reason for an instructor to touch their students, and I still cannot comprehend why he felt it was appropriate to what had been a safe situation into a horrible experience I'll never forget. I hate this place and what they did to me. Take your loved ones somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: We did parent taught through Aceable, but we had our kids take several lessons at Central Park as well as their driving test. All the instructors were extremely kind and patient. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Chose CPDS because they offer road tests using their vehicle. Also, DPS was backed up anyhow so this helped make the process much quicker. Passed first time around which was nice. Was informed of a few mistakes I made so I can correct them. Great experience. Would recommend

Negative experience: They were very disrespectful, they teacher was on his phone while I was driving, yelled at my brother who has a disability, and before we even started the teachers were saying how much they didn’t want to teach any of the students right in front of us.

Negative experience: Don’t go there. The service is so bad and they don’t know what the regulations are. They made mistake so my kid couldn’t get the license. They lost the document and said it’s our fault and asked us to pay money again to get the document. Don’t waste your money.

Negative experience: This company is the worst!!!! So, unprofessional and no one has any idea what they are doing. Don't waste your money with these people. They lost paperwork twice then didn't give my son his certificate and blamed me for not having it when it was in his file already. Then I go to their office to sign paperwork and they say they don't have it and when my son shows up to take his test they need me to sign the same paperwork. And when I get upset Ernie hangs up on me and says he doesn't need to listen to me. The customer is NEVER right at this joke of a business!

Fantastic experience: I came here for my road test because I needed something w no wait unlike the dmv which is super backed up, I’m an expecting mom and I appreciate that Ernesto and his wife were considerate of timing and so friendly. My road test was as expected and a good experience since I did come prepared w everything I needed. They even helped me schedule my license appointment which was thoughtful. I will refer my family and friends to Central Park, I had a very good experience.

Negative experience: They are horrible with customer service, they cancel the driving appointment due to snow days days and they turn around and ask for fee to continue with the drivings when I ask to clafy thing they got so rude and they want to refund me 25 dollars after I pay the whole thing in full stay AWAY from this place

Fantastic experience: My daughter went there in 2011 ,and no problems my daugher got her permit then her driver's license. I'm sending my son this year 2021.He has no driving skills and I know he will learn

Negative experience: It’s a great program but they have too many students and not enough instructed drive slots available. Every week you have to fight to get a drive time and most weeks you hang up without an appointment and have to wait for the following week to do it all over again. For this reason I do not recommend them. It’s clear they believe in quantity over quality.

Helped my daughter get her license and even went out of their way to have my daughter test early on the morning of her test, even though those aren't their regular start times. Will use Central Park for my son again!

Negative experience: Yikes.. all I got to say.. see, the classroom portion is A+. But the driving portion, honestly, save your money and go to another establishment. the instructor constantly grabbed my wheel while I was driving, and made me more nervous than I already was. I will never go back to this place again, I would much rather learn from somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: My daughter finished the parent taught online driving and a week before her birthday we tried to schedule her driving test at any DMV within 50 miles of home. The quickest appointment was 2 weeks off. We called a friend who had mentioned taking the test through a 3rd party company for the same reason. They recommended Central Park Driving School. I called on Monday and talked to a nice woman who scheduled the appointment for the morning of my daughter’s bday, just four days out. We got to the office that morning and Ernest and Susan Gutierrez were in the office. Mr. Ernie checked all of our paperwork and made sure we had completed all correctly. He took Emma on her driving test, with he and Ms. Susan both reassuring both of us that all would be ok, for her not to be nervous. She was back within 10 minutes and had passed, with only a few points off for parallel parking. From there I was able to make an electric online appointment with DPS in New Braunfels, and the DPS had us in and out an hour later. The DPS was complimentary of Central Park DS, the woman had seen paperwork from them before and all was in order. They made a stressful day much less stressful.

Negative experience: Do not believe the fake reviews on this site. The owner and his son have people post them . They are horrible at customer service and will nickle and dime you to their benefit. The receptionist is completely incapable. And they are all very rude.

Fantastic experience: There patients is phenomenal, there assistance is superb, there speed and efficiency are awesome. The people are cool down to earth family oriented and friendly. There willing to help you as long as you do your part....so do your part...

Fantastic experience: This is without a doubt the best driving school in San Antonio. Those of us with teen drivers are greatful for Central Park. The driving professionals are frequently seasoned teachers. Everything is about safety. They know what they are doing. They have been doing it for a long time . All costs are surprisingly reasonable!

Fantastic experience: It was AWSOME!!! I missed my schedule appointment at the DPS and they couldn’t take me back till 7 days. So we made some phone calls and we found that Central Park was open (unlike the other driving schools) and they said that they would let me take my test. So we did and now I have my license!!

Fantastic experience: We have taken both of our children to Central Park and have been very pleased. This is a serious driving school. The classes have prepared them for the driving experience. I like the additional checklist for parents to help their children practice their driving skills. This is in addition to the driving class with them of course.

Fantastic experience: This driving school is the one to go to! I enrolled my son here did not have any problems whatsoever. Very friendly atmosphere! The receptionist was Ari. She is very helpful, organized, flexible, friendly, and very informative. She had answers for all the questions I had. When I called before enrolling my son I had very fast customer service. I decided to just enroll him there. My son enjoyed getting his driver's education. Give them a call the receptionist will answer your questions, and inform you about everything you need or want to know! Very happy with her service and the rest of the instructors!

Negative experience: Not flexible and disorganized. I could not reschedule driving class without still being charge penalty of $25.00 and my daughter had concussion day before. Car are old and instructors

Negative experience: Hello I need driving school but how much for 1 hour

Negative experience: Receptionist was rude and unprofessional. First time was on the phone when I called and then later when I went into the office. I walked in and wasn't greeted as the receptionist was having a conversation with someone about personal matters and catching up on their family life. I waited for 5 minutes listening to how their diets are going before a second receptionist walked in and helped me. Will never do bussiness through them again.

Negative experience: I used them thru my grandsons school and every time you turn around there is another $10 here or there. They do not do what they say, and if you are doing this so you don't have to worry with your kids driving training look somewhere else. I ordered and paid for the online parent taught and then decided I didn't want to deal with it. I was willing to pay the fee for them to do it. I paid the $390 originally posted and was told I owed $10 more so I paid that. Was told the driving instructor was having a serious surgery and driving might be delayed, but they would find someone else. I paid the other $10 only to pay it again. We started in March or around there, and all was well. He got his learning papers but we had to go all the way to San Antonio to get them and pay an additional amount of money I think around $17. Got that and got permit. Waited and waited for driving to start and finally called them and the lies started then. They said they had told the students to get with whoever to set up driving. Never got in touch with the adults that paid the money. Then was told I still owed $10, just agreed to repay it. My grandson per there contract had until July 3rd to finish his driving, but he was in Dallas visiting his mom for the summer. So this could not be done. I had to pay and additional $60 for him to finish. They did appologize for this but still had to pay the $60 plus $10 for him to finish. This was a very expensive drivers training. When I went up there to pay this, they pulled a sticky note from his file that said, "mother wants to do driving with student". How odd his mom lives in Dallas, and I paid for his class and he lives with me. It is now August and he has finally finished and they lost his certificate, but have been told today it has been found. Do not use this school very nasty inside, and people are rude. My experience was terrible.

Negative experience: No no no as hell , I came here 4 times and the 3 first time were fine but the 4 one I ask the instructor to practice the pararell parking because that is the only thing that I need to practice on and he just practice my driving no my parking don't come here and now I have to see what I have to do because I need a driver license as soon as possible damm!!! Bad service too and I pay for an hour and I just got 50 minutes !!! Yes 10 min less but I paid the whole money so that not justo!!

Negative experience: some of the instructors were nice and did their job, others not so much....specifically their receptionists/notaries. guy started lecturing a girl about something he had no business discussing out in the open at the front desk and humiliated her

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. Awful experience all around. 1. Driving instructor quit halfway through my daughter's driving lessons and didn't record three drives. She had to re-do those drives. 2. Car she drove for one of the night drives had a headlight out. Unsafe and illegal. 3. School has trouble hiring and retaining instructors; driving times are extremely hard to schedule because there are so few drivers. 4. Receptionists require that you call them every Monday morning to schedule drives. Only one drive allowed per week while they're short on drivers. Can only schedule one week in advance. 5. Receptionist put wrong completion date on form to turn in to DMV, forcing daughter to reschedule driver license test with DMV. 6. Rude and clueless receptionists. Bad combination. Bad business. I highly recommend you look elsewhere.

Negative experience: The ladies that work in the office are clueless one doesn't know what the other one schedule I was supposed to be scheduled every time you call it's like 20 questions because they can't figure it out you pay all that money and you would assume that they have everything together but they don't!!!
