Fantastic experience: My son recently completed his driving course and I am very pleased with Ms. Opal service. She is a former educator and has the patience to deal with teaching teenagers how to safely drive. She does a really good job building a rapport with kids My son enjoyed his sessions with her more than me ...lol. She gives the kids tips to build their confidence. I am so glad that my best friend recommended their services. Her 2 teenagers also completed Ms. Opal's driving course. It's hard these days to find people who provide good customer service.

Negative experience: I had enrolled my daughter for driving lessons. It was supposed to be 7 hours of driving and 7 hours of observing. After the first lesson, instructor expressed written concern about student driver's lack of confidence and need for parent to complete 30 hours of on road driving before enrolling for additional classes (she wanted to see proof of 30 hours). If parent is to drive with student for 30 hours, then what's the point of driving school enrollment? I was very disappointed with the service provided and regret enrollment in this driving school to say the least.

Negative experience: Mrs ophal was great at the beginning of my lessons but now with covid around she’s taking too many precautions with weather and temperatures 99.2 I wasn’t allowed to drive but later that day I was allowed in a pediatric clinic with a temperature of 99.5 because it’s not a fever and today she told me that she called me and texted me but there’s no proof in my phone and she called me unprofessional for not answering my phone

After having a bad experience with the Fort Bend Driving school my daughter expressed adamantly that she did not want to return to the FBDS, but wanted Ms. Opal to be her instructor. Because she had already had a couple of sessions at the Mobile Training Base Driving School, my daughter explained that Ms. Opal was far more patient and spoke to her with respect and did not make her feel nervous behind the wheel as the other school instructors had. After each session Ms. Opal explained in detail what areas she needed to work on, but also commended her on what she was doing right. It gave her the inspiration to continue on with her desire to drive by fixing those areas she needed to work on and having the determination that she would get her license. I definitely recommend this driving school...quality driving instruction at its best.

Negative experience: I was anticipating my refund for my sons course, which Mrs. Opal and I had agreed upon on August 2, 2018 per phone conversation. She informed me she had 30 days to give me my refund per our contract and she rather give it to me in person than through mail, I agreed. 25 days later I called and texted her wanting to know when we can meet, only to find out she changed her number. I’ve emailed her directly and through her website, still waiting on a response. I’ve visited her office, with no one there every time. I’m very dissatisfied and will be taking legal action.

Fantastic experience: Mrs. Opal has excellent teaching skills ( being a retired educator in a local ISD) and has patience with her students to make sure they know the rules and regulations of driving. She makes sure they understand that there's no room for distractions ( texting) while driving. Mr. Eddie also plays an integral part in the instruction process making sure the drivers know how to maintain the vehicle whether it's changing a flat or checking the oil level. They make a great team!!!!!
