Atlanta DUI Center: Reviews

Negative experience: PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST I am outraged and appalled by the deplorable customer service and treatment I received from the Atlanta DUI Center (ADC). On May 24, 2024, I unfortunately registered for a class with ADC, paying in full through their so-called "Trusted Website." However, I did not receive a receipt or any email confirmation from the company—only a Google reminder about the class. The reminder included an email address and phone number for Morgoiusha Brown, suggesting we could reach out if any issues arose. Since I received a Google reminder, I assumed everything was in order. How wrong I was. On the day the class was supposed to start, I had still not received any official notice from ADC. As the class time approached, I grew increasingly nervous. I began calling and emailing the provided contact information for about an hour before the class was scheduled to begin. I received no response. At this point, I started to suspect I had been scammed, and my suspicions were confirmed. Let me continue. The class was supposed to start at 9:00 AM. After calling for an hour, it was now 9:05 AM, and I still had not received a Zoom link or any communication from ADC. Then, I received a text from a strange and unrecognized number, instructing me to text them instead. Keep in mind, I had been calling the company’s provided number with no answer. When I texted the strange number back, explaining that I had paid in full for a class and had not received a Zoom link, the number replied, "Zoom link for what?" I immediately responded, stating this company was a scam and that I would handle the matter accordingly. Suddenly, I received a call from the rudest person I have ever dealt with. This individual aggressively insisted, "We are not a scam; we are certified with the DDS and do not appreciate being called a scam." As I tried to explain that I had registered for a class, I was repeatedly cut off and accused of being rude when I was merely seeking an explanation for why I had paid money and received no Zoom link. After a brief and frustrating exchange, I was informed that ADC had canceled the class (WITHOUT NOTIFYING ANYONE). Furthermore, I was told it would be another week before anyone could take a class with them, and that information would be texted to me. They blamed DDS for the cancellation and claimed ADC had nothing to do with it. Then, I was abruptly hung up on. I was in utter shock. I could not believe the treatment and customer service I had received. Despite my initial desire to take the class, I decided I no longer wanted to do business with such an unprofessional and rude company. I emailed ADC requesting a refund but received no response. Instead, Morgoiusha Brown sent me a link to file a complaint about her company to DDS. There were no apologies for the mix-up—nothing. Therefore, I am writing this complaint to DDS. The customer service from ADC is absurd, and I strongly recommend they be shut down for fraud. Honestly I just completed my certificate with ACT 1 driving school. Their Customer service was pristine and I had no problems getting information and getting into the class. Please avoid the headache with Atlanta DUI center. They are horrible.
