Defensive Driving School of Lynnwood

Located in Lynnwood, Washington, the Defensive Driving School offers a premier learning environment for aspiring drivers seeking certification and skill mastery. Situated conveniently near Edmonds Community College, this dedicated facility serves as a vital hub for students in Snohomish County and the greater Seattle area. While the Lynnwood location operates by appointment specifically for knowledge tests and lesson drop-offs, students benefit from the support of a central staffed office and a robust call center available six days a week.

Our curriculum is designed to accommodate learners of all ages, with specialized programs for both teenagers and adults. For teens, we provide comprehensive courses that include 15 online Zoom sessions, adhering to the 30-hour state curriculum requirements. These classes also feature four hours of self-paced Driver Awareness Training and five hours of essential behind-the-wheel practice. We strongly encourage parental involvement, including a dedicated information session and the option for a parent to ride along during at least one driving lesson. Our Individualized Driving Program (IDP) is available for students who require additional support, time, or specialized teaching methods to ensure their success.

For adults, we offer private driving lessons tailored to build confidence and proficiency on the road. Regardless of age, all students have access to Department of Licensing (DOL) approved knowledge and road tests at our location. We also offer a wide array of specialty courses, including collision avoidance, defensive driving, simulator evaluations, and even unique experiences like The Tesla® Experience. Whether you are preparing for your first permit, seeking a traffic school course for insurance benefits, or upgrading your skills with stick shift training, our experienced instructors are committed to helping you drive safely and legally.
