Fantastic experience: Mike is the best instructor highly recommend this place for new drivers !

Fantastic experience: highly recommend

Negative experience: I had the worst first time on the road driving experience ever! It never crossed my mind to have such a bad experience with an instructor. My first day of class was in the morning (around 8 or 8:30 in the morning), so I went and meet him. It was ok at first. Then, I wanted to learn about parking and street signs and I got excited. Suddenly, my instructor immediately stops me and got extremely confused and ask "What are you trying to do" I said I wanted to learn parking, street signs, and turns and with a confused and frustrated look tells me "Just parking for 2 hours or what?! I am confused." Then he asked "Did they give you a schedule?" I said no because I thought they already told him and goes "Huh?" So I had to repeat it again (He had a very heavy Arabic accent and a very bad temper. I guess he doesn't understand English very well because I had to repeat my questions a lot). So then during my entire lesson, he would spend the ENTIRE time on his phone and call his friends or his coworkers and it was on speaker mode so I could hear the other person. He kept coughing loudly and I told him to turn the other way, but still gross and very uneducated middle aged men. I told him that I was scared to go in the road because it was my first time and I never tried it before. He tells me "you need to sign up for more lessons." I gave a disgusted look and replied "umm... ok?" So as I drive around the parking lot, he was just quiet all the time with me, apart from being on his phone all the time. As I entered the road, he would yell at me to to push the gas more and more then he tells me that I am over the speed limit. He would also yell "GO LEFT/RIGHT" at the last minute as soon as I was close to the light. He would AGRESSIVELY turn the steering wheel to the correct direction. When I was scared to turn he would yell "GO GO GO!" very angerly. I told him this was my FIRST TIME in the road, but he shrugged and said "Ack, you will be fine." He would then ask me which side do I look when turning left and I gave him the wrong answer because I didn't understand the question, and so he rudely tells me the correct answer and he made me feel bad. Whe then stopped at the street with the houses and teaches me about the right turn technique. So then it was my turn to move the steering wheel to the right and I made a mistake and he yelled "USE THE RIGHT HAND!" I made a mistake again and he yells "NOOO!... ugh!!" as he slapped his knees. To continue, I was driving straight and decided to go right, but then the instructor AGRESSIVELY pulled the wheel and I panicked and said "You scared me!!" And he yelled "KEEP GOING STRAIGHT!" At that moment, I was even more terrified and tense than I was before, all because of the uneducated instructor Mr. Melad with his heavy accent. He doesn't deserve those certificates. My body was shaking all throughout the lesson and he doesn't care. My complain is the way he treated me during the lesson. Is he like this with his students? I never had an instructor like that. The educator is very uneducated. Isn't the instructor supposed to know what they are doing and not ask the student? How is he even certified? All is does is be on his phone and stays quiet when he is with a student, he doesn't teach, all he does is make you feel uncomfortable. I would never recommend it for a beginner or anyone.

Fantastic experience: Took two hours before my road test Mike was so patient I messed up so many times on the parking and he kept teaching me.
