HDS Truck Driving Institute is a family-owned school and has served Southern Arizona since 1991. HDS is an accredited educational institution that has trained thousands of students to not only pass their Commercial Driver License (CDL) test but to become the kind of professional driver that companies seek. HDS Truck Driving Institute is licensed by the Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division and accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), as well as a member of the Commercial Vehicle Training Association. HDS Truck Driving Institute was also announced as a Military Friendly Gold School for the 2023 - 2024 school year!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend HDS! The instructors and staff were incredibly friendly and patient, always going above and beyond to answer questions and ease concerns. I started with zero experience in truck or manual driving, but thanks to their expert guidance, I’m now CDL certified. The supportive environment made me feel welcome every step of the way. If you’re considering a career in trucking, visit them first—you won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: I decided to attend hds for my CDL because everyone who more than willing to provide me with information always available to answer questions and give advice from the owner to the recruiters and instructors. All are very friendly and passionate about our success. My experience was great from beginning to end and with their help I received multiple employment offers as soon as I received my CDL. I recommend everyone who is interested in getting their CDL to tour the school ask many questions and have a clear realistic idea of what you want to achieve with your CDL and if you’re like me hds will be a great fit for you and give you honest answers to all your questions.

Fantastic experience: I came here in October and did the Professional Program. I had so much fun learning the skills and learning to drive. My instructors were Tony, Hector, and Diane. They were all very patient. I enjoyed my time here now it’s time to start my career.
