Fantastic experience: Barnes Trucking School was my first choice to attend CDL school and I am glad that I did. I highly recommend taking 20 classes to help prepare you to pass for either Class A, B, C. The prices are reasonable and I want to take this time to thank my instructor Luis for his time and patience with me throughout my journey. Plan accordingly with work, school and time for practice. Study the material as much as you can and seek guidance from local truck drivers if you have more questions. My best advice is to study the material daily for at least an hour or two to help keep the information fresh. Remember, you’re doing this to have a better quality of life and take care of your family. The Trucking world is a serious business and if you want to succeed and make good money and right investments, this is where you start. What to expect on the day of the test is 1.) InCab/PreTrip Inspection 2.) Inspection of the exterior. (It could range from what the examiner wants you to do). 3.) The Maneuvers, (straight backing, offset right or left, and parking). 4.) Lastly the road test. Listen carefully to Luis and his recommendation and his advice will be a strong tool during the day of the exam. Feel confident and don’t rush. The examiner is just observing and want to see how optimistic are you. The sooner your availability is, the quicker you are able to achieve a CDL License. Negative experience: very irresponsible. a truck with a license plate from that school on July 2 of this year giving a driving class and they destroyed my car and they did not give me their information and they left the scene and today is the day that I am without a car and no one was responsible.

Negative experience: The worst school ever. I went for cdl school. Over the phone the promised everything, pay the money and you will start class next day. Did not happen. The trucks are so old and dirty. The one day before the official test, the registration for the truck expired!!?? The instructor lowes keep Rescheduling the classes , too many problems with them. The truck practice is on the streets .They don't have they're on it yard, no class rooms, no books to learn for pti. BIG Waste of time and money.

There was times I called him at 10 PM at night asking questions about the CDL training and Luis was always available. Fantastic experience: Today Jan. 22, 2024 I attempted for the first time my road test at the DMV Test site in Riversdale, Bronx NY...and can you believe it people...I PASSED!!! Glory to God in the highest!!!! I want to thank my Driving instructor Fardin - I read your notes multiple times and practiced the steps in my imaginary car at home (seriously...but if you know, you know). I also watched multiple driving videos on You Tube to reinforce the lessons I learnt. But the cherry on the cake came from Lewis - Senior Driving Instructor...who drilled us, gave tips/ pointers and reassurance just before the exam... thank you so very much Lewis. I am happy to have been a student of Barnes Driving School. Would I recommend them to others...absolutely, YES!

Fardin and Maria is the classroom instructors easy to work with, pushes you, patience with you and work with whatever schedule of work you have. Fantastic experience: Firstly, I want to thank the Barnes Driving School (and more specifically Luis) for helping me to get my driver’s license. After many years of trying to get my license (through a couple different Driving Instructors and schools) I can finally say I got it! Growing up, my family didn’t have a car because most things were in walking distance, so learning to drive was a big deal to me. Over 10 years ago, my previous instructor at a different driving school told me that I will probably never be able to drive a car- after just one lesson. Indeed, cars felt like spaceships the very first time I tried driving one lol. People who had families with cars wouldn’t understand. Another instructor, years later, told me to find a school with a designated space cuz he couldn’t teach me how to drive from scratch on the streets of NYC. So, I pretty much gave up. However, after I gave myself another chance and called BARNES driving school I “hit the jackpot”. They were really on it! It took me a couple attempts with a yearlong break but their effort and dedication in trying to make me finally get my license is definitely something that doesn’t happen a lot or at all in modern day. They basically motivated me to get it done! Incredible people! Once again, I want to thank great brother Luis, amazing Maria and awesome instructor Fardin for the support and motivation. Fantastic experience: The gold standard of driving instructors! I’ve moved to the States from the UK and took a few lessons before my test to get acclimatised to driving here. Fardin is a legend. Actually taught me how to properly parallel park. Had some fantastic tips that I’d never heard before. Super patient and easy going. Luis managed to get me a driving test with 48 hours notice! I called maybe 10 schools before finding him and everyone else was telling me 3 weeks. Picked me up, drove me to the test center and made everything very relaxed. Put me in a great frame of mind. Fardeen was my instructor, and gave me a detailed explanation of what I should expect on the day of the test. His pointers are the reason I passed. He also gave me plenty of practice and all very patiently. Overall, will definitely recommend if you want thr best chance at succeeding!

Fantastic experience: Took 6 lessons with Fardin and who got me ready for the test. I had failed my previous one so I was nervous about taking it again but this driving school got me more than ready. On the test day Luis drove me there and waited with me until it was my turn to take the test. Not only is he an amazing instructor but also a great person and is very kind and generous. Fantastic experience: I am a 22 year old who had never gotten around to getting my driver's license, and always felt guilty about it. I had constantly put it off, told myself it was too much of a hassle, made excuses for why I should wait. I got a job in Los Angeles that I am moving over there for, and with three weeks before moving across coasts, I figured I should finally get my license. I was worried that it was too short of a timeframe, but luckily I came across Luis at the Barnes Driving School. Luis was incredibly kind, patient, and extremely accepting of my quick turnaround time. I was worried about how little time I had, but Luis was very encouraging and it made me feel much better about the situation. With Luis, the process was an absolute breeze. We scheduled two driving lessons and a road test, and he made a very accommodating timeframe with clear communication. I had very little driving experience before I contacted Luis, and felt pretty uncomfortable behind the wheel. Luis was an incredible teacher, able to quickly identify my strengths and areas for improvement. He was clear about what the test would entail, what they would look for, and he made passing the road test very, very easy. Luis is a straight up miracle worker. Fantastic experience: This $535 was one of the best investments I spent. On short notice I needed some lessons on shifting a ten speed. They took care of me like I'm the only student. I did my research before entering the process of getting my CDL, and they were the only school who got me scheduled for my lessons on my preferred time and fast. Barnes Trucking school gave me a refresher course of five lessons in two days. Today I passed my road test for Pepsi. I will definitely recommend for anyone seeking a school with patience and great communication skills with the lessons to sign up. I came all the way from New Jersey for them lessons. My instructor Luis was very nice and helpful.

I thought I was so hard headed until I was introduced to Barnes Driving School and their unique step by step system of parallel parking 3 point turn and General vehicle maneuvering . I took some classes in other schools before and Sayed’s instructions were the most useful. He was very polite and patient too.
