Fantastic experience: Bruce is the best instructor you can get in the San Diego area. He was excellent from the start to the end. Bruce was a diligent, knowledgeable, and patient instructor. I’d recommend him any day of the week.

Negative experience: The worse customer service, I called for information and the guy answer the phone was so aggressive! I am shock! He told me I am not smart enough and treat me badly he hung out the phone. I am really shock that exist this ¨school¨ with this poor attention, I can't imagine how they are over the training.

Negative experience: Avoid at all cost. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Called to see if their physical location was correct as I couldn't find it. Person answered the phone with an attitude asking "what I want and why I want to go there". I tried to explain that I'm trying to sign my kid up for lessons. Then person started trying to mock tge way I speak. Buyer Beware!

Negative experience: Had a license from another country been already driving for years and this guy wants me to book an extra two hours training for $185 on top of the $185 I’m paying just do to the DMV training.

Fantastic experience: This driving program was pretty good. The sessions I took lasted about 2 hours and I did it over a 3 day period. The driving lesson was great, we drove from my residence to about the beach area near Belmont. This gave me a lot of help with getting used to traffic and driving around a lot of hectic places. The driving experience was great and I learned a lot from it. He guided me through what to do and what not to do, including what would be included on the DMV test/how many points you can lose max to pass. Overall the experience was very good. Would recommend.

Don’t book with them there is plenty other schools in San Diego don’t wast your money with these crooks In response to the owners response since I don’t know how to make a new post, I’ll just write it on my original. This just shows you what type of business owner this person is everyone knows the customer is always right. When I asked him the price of just 2 hours he was extremely rude and extremely aggressive just because I wasn’t interested in his 6 hour course. By him calling me out as a 19-year-old just shows first of all that I’m already nervous about driving and with his customer service over the phone, he was shouting at me, aggressively like I was some kid that I didn’t know what I was doing this is unacceptable and no one should be treated this way especially when trying to learn something with that being said I don’t recommend anyone to go to this driving school!! No one deserves to be treated like this

Negative experience: Bruce is the most aggressive and rude person to communicate with. I'm writing this review on behalf of my lovely coworker who directly experienced his abrasive and unprofessional attitude while looking for a driving instructor. I personally read the messages he sent to her and was appalled. Will be contacting the better business bureau about him. Do better Bruce. Edit: Hope his son was raised by someone else. Can't wait until you close.

Negative experience: Helped get my 6 hours in quick to get my test. Did help me get finish quick though. Overall a weird guy to get around, gets too personal and gets mad when you disagree with him and don’t pay attention to his thoughts on personal views, which has NOTHING to do with the training. Gives directions but not clearly, mumbles ALOT and gets mad when you ask to repeat. He pretends to know everything and express himself disrespectfully when disagreeing. Should stick to paying attention more on driving and not on his personal life. NOT A COMPETITOR and if i am prove it. Recommend him if you pay no attention to his ideas and personal views, ok guy.

Fantastic experience: He taught my brother, and he recommended me it, I thought he was a good teacher, and got straight to the point, I’m going to refer my friends this teacher because I’ve learned a lot throughout this whole experience

Negative experience: Called over the phone to get a quote on using one of their cars for a road test with the DMV. Person on the phone was extremely impolite and cut me off and after explaining I just needed a car for the test and no driving hours he sounded audibly frustrated and was clearly annoyed that I wasn’t interested with the hours that came with it. The price he gave me $185 with 2 hours practice prior to the DMV road test. And continuously clarified that’s if I know how to drive. Which gave me the impression that he would prematurely determine I’m unable to drive prior to the test and cause more delay/hassle, although truth be told I don’t know for sure whether that was his intention or not. (Edit: I also took notice that a bunch of other reviews complain and address very similar issues that I would definitely see happening had I been with him in real life. All of them are quickly replied to with discrediting responses such as “never happened” or “never had this student before” which overall reduces the credibility Bruce has in his responses) Response to the comment: What’s wrong with the star system is what’s right for others to hold you accountable through what you do and what you say, although the stars aren’t in your favor that’s for you to fix as a service to the customers who are willing to pay money. I have no issue with the quote and found one that is $160 with a different local driving school that is way more courteous and respectful just on the phone. Remember that people pay for your service not the other way around, and if you don’t have the dignity to treat them with a baseline standard level of respect then do not complain when you get bad ratings.

Negative experience: Very weird guy idk how he acts with boys but with girls he can talk about very uncomfortable situations goes by the name of bruce. I wouldn’t recommend him with any girls. He talks about stories with females that are not appropriate, ask weird questions, yells too much, and talks too much about his life more than driving. i just wouldn’t trust him with any girls though he gives that weird vibe

Negative experience: I would not recommend this instructor. We signed up for the classes and after the first class my daughter came home crying. He shouldn't be teaching new student drivers. Worst experience ever. My daughter couldn't participate in the third class with him because she had Covid so I told him we would have to wait. When we called to schedule he charged us an extra fee for the last class because he claimed we cancelled the last lesson when we never scheduled in the first place. We had to agree or else he wouldn't sign her off. I would look at any positive reviews here with skepticism. He is so desperate that he bulldogs the students and makes them write a 5 star fake review at the last class to try to prop up his business.

Fantastic experience: Really good instructor if you’re looking to really learn the rules and be prepared. Isn’t too easy and isn’t too harsh. Coming out of it I feel way more safe and ready to drive every time I step behind the wheel. Would definitely recommend!

Negative experience: I called to Inquire about the options. The owner picked up and was very rude. I wanted to ask some questions about availability, packages and prices. He said that I did not prepare myself well and that he was not going to help me. ( whatever that means).Please spend your money elsewhere.

Negative experience: Literally could not even schedule an appointment terrible customer service. You are literally paying for a service and the agent or receptionist whatever his position is, speaks to you like you are asking for free lessons or he is making you a favor. Very unpleasant and unprofessional. I may not know the skill of driving. But I am calling to schedule and pay for a service. I expect to be treated with courtesy and good customer service. Some people have no manners or even basic courtesy skills. They literally lost over 1000$ that I was willing to pay for services. Don’t waste time calling unless you want to get shouted out and berated.

Negative experience: *BRUCE HAS ANGER MANAGEMENT ISSUES* Whatever you do never ever take this driving school. He is a bigot and completely ruined my outlook on driving. He yelled at me and threw my permit on the floor. He is quick to anger and should never be teaching anyone anything. It sucks that I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He smells atrocious and yells constantly. Listen to the reviews they are only trying to warn you. Bruce is a conniving, rude, eerie instructor. He literally replies saying competitors when nobody is checking for his good for nothing business anyways. Can't say me and hundreds are lying can you?

Negative experience: First of all, I’ve made a big mistake by scheduling with this guy. He’s not a person you should go to if you want to learn something. He does not have any teacher qualities. He’s very arrogant. He doesn’t have respect for his customers. I would recommended people to stay away from him. Today he cussed at me while I was going up to him for my driving school. But he was fat form my house and he wanted me to walk all the way there. Making excuses that he doesn’t know the houses. He’s also a lair. Full of himself. No wonder he has allot of bad reviews. And the good ones he probably forced them to. So please don’t waste your time and money on these type of people

Negative experience: I signed my 16 year old son up with Bruce and he came back home and said, "that was the worst 2 hours of his life". Bruce insulted him, yelled at him when he asked a driving question. When Bruce gave an instruction, he mumbled it so it was hard for my son to hear him and would ask" what did you say"?, Bruce yelled again at him for asking to repeat himself. He told my son, "if you listen like this you will never make it to college". He created a very stressful and negative environment for my sons first driving lesson . He made something that was suppose to be fun and exciting for a 16 year old a very terrible experience. The good thing is he agreed to give me some money back so that I could book with another company for my sons 2nd and 3rd class. I think Bruce might be better with teaching adults and not teenagers. He doesn't have enough patients for teens and he destroyers their confidence. Sorry Bruce, I just wanted to point out some of your flaws like you did to my son.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. Never never take their class. For a beginner, he barely teaches anything and just expects you to drive. Literally shouts for minute mistakes. Barely has any work ethics. We booked for three classes and for the last class he demanded us to pay for three more classes before we can give us the third class. Please avoid this guy. He ruins your confidence and disrespects you in all senses.

Fantastic experience: Very instructive and thorough. He doesn’t sugarcoat at all and if anything he was a harder grader than the DMV, which made the test a breeze. I went from next to no driving experience to being able to pass the test in only a couple weeks. He puts in the work to teach you but you have to be more than willing to put in the effort to learn.

Positive experience: My experience gives me mixed opinions. Though if I had to answer sum his character up, it would be that he is the type that would say whatever is on his mind. Sometimes what he had to say was good but for the most part his opinions on my actions (aside from driving) and personal life are harsh. Regardless if I agreed with him or not, the things he said to me should have been kept to himself. I can give Bruce this, he is a very open person and is willing to start a conversation and not keep it awkward. Next, his feedback would make him the drill sergeant of driving. He yells at you a ton (and its not just raising his voice) which to me I liked because he killed a lot of my bad habits that would have taken a fair amount of time to kill on my own. Be warned if YOU don't like being yelled at (or are just faint hearted) then I would not recommend services from him. He also does not like repeating himself so listen up the first time or he'll insult you (like he did to me) about your listening skills. Sorry for the 3 stars Bruce. You gave me personal feedback, just thought id return the favor and give a bit back.

Fantastic experience: He was able to speed up the process of me getting my hours in because i was taking my test soon. He throughly explains everything you need to know in the test and makes you a safe smart driver. I appreciate everything he has done for me and my family. He is also very flexible with your schedule!

Negative experience: This owner only cares about his money. Cursed me out because I told him my sister has a fever he expects you to know when your getting sick. He wanted to take her driving said he didn't care that she was sick..Definitely don't take your students here. He wanted to reschedule right away but not sure how long fever will last so I told him I will call back. He then started screaming like a maniac.... I'm glad she's sick and didn't go driving with him.
