Fantastic experience: I had very positive experience. The office was very accommodating for scheduling. My driving instructor was Arturo. He was very timely and very experienced and did not make me nervous when driving. He gave very useful driving tips. Not only I got my license, I became an active driver that I was not able to manage to become for long years. I definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I'm late in the game to driving. I'm thinking of moving out of NYC and for most other places, you need a car. The only experience I have had with any driving was with bumper cars. And, the last time I was in a bumper car (when I was a younger adult) was back in 2009. I recently started doing some research. I saw that this driving school had good ratings and I can take driving lessons in a decent location (meaning not a hectic/overly busy area). I did the 5-hour class in the middle of Sept. (2024), via zoom, with them and in less than a week I started taking driving lessons. The Manhattan office; both Erika and Princess were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. I would call here and there asking to switch schedules (in advance) to avoid rush hour and school traffic. If it couldn't be done right away, they would keep me in mind if something opened up. I had 3 instructors and not for any bad reasons. My initial instructor was Waleed. Waleed was a new instructor to the school, as well. I had him for 12 lessons. I don't have a car and don't know anyone that has their own car, so I could not practice outside the driving school to learn quicker. Waleed knew and was very patient with me. He was very calm and provided me with helpful advice when I couldn't pick up on certain things right away. Unfortunately; Waleed had to take time off due to personal matters and was not able to come back to the school. I have to give him his flowers though, because he was a good instructor. Arturo I had for 2 lessons. I needed to get in a couple more lessons before my exam - so I booked with him because he was available. He was another good instructor. He is both very enthusiastic and calm. I was having a really hard time with parallel parking and he me gave a very helpful tip. It was the missing piece I needed. From that, it just clicked for me, that I got parallel parking in one lesson. Shannon is a very experienced instructor (over 20 years). I had him for 4 lessons. If you listen to him and book with him for several lessons, you will learn quickly. Shannon is strict, but it is to prepare you in case you get a hard examiner on your road test. Please keep in mind, he does have the best intentions for you, but if you don't like strict - then you might bump heads with him. I took my road exam in Dec. (2024) and I passed it on the first try. Thank you very much to the Revolution Driving School (Manhattan).

Fantastic experience: My coach is Jhesson and he’s simply the best! He teaches you practical skills both for the exam and for real life, also he’s super easygoing and responsible. Definitely recommend him for any students (I’ve failed one road test before coming to Revolution so def had some anxiety). Also Princess is super helpful with logistics and road test scheduling :) love the school!

Negative experience: Instructor Arturo cancelled last minute and on several occasions showed up completely baked and smelling like weed. I asked him if he’d smoked and he said all day today and the last few days. Throughout the lesson he is talking about personal things such as women he’s picked up off the street. It’s very distracting. As for his teaching style, he’s constantly providing instructions even up until the day of the exam, leaving no room for the student to internalize the material. When I ask him to give less instruction, he lashed out. We booked a class the day of the road test, half of which was used to drive on the highway (not tested for the road test). Finally, for the next road test, he decided to not let me use his car which I had been practicing.

Fantastic experience: I just got my license and I can’t thanks enough to you guys and especially to Jhesson. I really enjoyed my driving lessons with him, always on time, always funny and kind. He made me so confident when I’m driving. Gracias mi brother

Fantastic experience: Waleed was a great instructor! I felt like I learned quickly and became much more confident while driving after only a few lessons. He focuses on what matters, notices your strengths and weaknesses quickly, and tells you exactly what you need to know for the road test. He is also great at making you feel comfortable and reducing your stress while driving. The management of driving school itself needs improvement but the instructors are amazing and they really make the experience worth it despite the very poor organization skills of the managers. Overall highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I took driving lessons over a decade ago but never followed through on getting my license. I reached out to a bunch of the top schools around NYC explaining my background / what I was looking for. Revolution was the only one where I received a prompt reply with suggestions tailored to my needs. They created a very thoughtful plan that included a mix of shorter lessons and longer lessons closer to my test date. Jhesson was my instructor and was great to work with. He confidently guided me through all sorts of situations and gave detailed feedback on where to improve. Concepts I never grasped when I first took lessons clicked much faster. Fantastic experience: I had a pleasure to be taught by Arturo and he made me a very nervous driver become so relaxed. He was sick one day and made up the lesson in his own time. I recommend anyone who is a nervous driver and grew up in cities to come to this school and request Arturo. Fantastic experience: I passed my first road test due to the instructor Jhesson giving me helpful tips and direction during the lessons. Also Jhesson is fun to be in the car with, making the drive fun and educational. The parallel parking tip was especially helpful as I practically parked perfectly within a foot of the curb every time!

Fantastic experience: Got my driving licence after the first attempt! Thanks to amazing instructors, Jheson (midtown) and Gerald (UES), who guided me through the study. From "never drived a real car", to license in 20 hours Additional apprecciation to Princess, who was very accomodating with scheduling and reminders.

Fantastic experience: I took the Road Test package 60 min which basically includes a 60 minutes driving lesson and then the actual driving test. Princess, who handles the front office at the Manhattan branch was very helpful in helping me select the right package. Jheeson, my instructor, gave me very useful tips during the lesson and also whilst taking me to the actual test. E.g. despite having many years of prior driving experience in my home country, I did not really appreciate the significance of using one's eyes as the most important tool while driving. And all the times that one has to pay attention to the blind spots. In fact, it was this particular lesson which helped me pass the driving test!! Thanks a million, Jheeson and Princess.

I have worked with 2 others and neither of them offered the service or instruction that revolution provides. Gerald was my instructor and he is the best teacher! Fantastic experience: This is hands down one of the best and hidden gems in New York when it comes to a driving school. I was with another school before I went to this school and I'm embarrassed to say, but I stayed with that other school for far too long and even did a road test with them three times, which I failed all three times, until I came to this driving school. I bought the 5 lesson road test package and did not regret it. I was told that I was going to be having Arturo and Gerald as my instructors. My first lesson was canceled due to a severe snow storm that was happening, my second lesson, I had Arturo, which he was extremely soothing, talkative, which was good because it calms the nerves down, respectful, gave good advice and feedback, overall, just a chill guy and instructor. My second lesson, was supposed to be with Gerald, but I totally blanked that day that I had a driving lesson, which Gerald called me and asked where I was and even asked where I lived, so he could go pick me up if I was close by or lived close by. When I told him that I lived pretty far and that I wouldn't make it, he talked me down, calmed me down and said that he'll call the driving school and ask if anything can be done about it. My third lesson was again with Arturo, same thing, down to earth, we talked while I drove. Like I said again, very chill and down to earth guy and instructor, very easily talkative to. My fourth lesson was with Gerald, this was a fun lesson because I finally got to drive on the highway, on the FDR. Gerald was very down to earth and talkative also, which again, calmed me down and soothed the nerves. We had an amazing time criticizing peoples driving skills on the highway because I was getting cut off a lot, people were not using their turn signals, but there was a few nice drivers that were nice enough to let a student driver go first and give them some space just incase I make any sudden movement/spots. My fifth lesson/road test was with Arturo. We drove over to the testing location without a problem, did a couple turns, drove a little, a bit of parking and a couple three point turns also. Let's just say I finally passed the road test on my fourth time and am now looking to buy a car before my birthday in April! If anyone asks me if I know any good places to learn to drive, I will be redirecting to Revolution Driving School and that is a promise! Thank you once again to Revolution Driving School and to their wonderful and lovely driving instructors!

Fantastic experience: The good reviews are true! I had an incredible experience working with Revolution from start to finish. Princess was very responsive to my emails and got me scheduled for everything so quickly (only 2.5 weeks between my pre-licensing course and my road test). I really appreciated that. My instructor was Domingo, he's great and super friendly. We only had one lesson together besides the road test day - but he still gave me a lot of confidence and plenty of helpful tips. The day of the road test is stressful but he stayed very calm and we drove around the testing site for a while before the test which was very helpful. Fantastic experience: Took 10 lessons with Antonio in Queens. He's a fantastic instructor, explains concepts in a simple and easy to understand manner, and was completely professional throughout the whole process. He's also a very nice guy and it was always a pleasure to be in the car with him. I passed the road test without issue largely because of him. The receptionists in the office were also always very nice and helpful whenever I called or needed something sorted. Overall my experience with RDS was very good and I would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Revolution Driving School I passed my road test in the Bronx on the first try!! Jhesson was my instructor for all of my lessons and he was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable and great at answering every one of my questions. I was very nervous and Jhesson really helped me become much more confident. He had tons of tips and best practices that he would share. They suggested a lesson right before the test, which was an awesome idea. It gave me a chance to warm up and practice what I was uncomfortable with, especially parallel parking. I hated it, didn’t think I could do it right, but Jhesson patiently walked me through it multiple times. He even let me deliberately make the mistakes I was worried about while practicing so I could learn how to recover. In the actual test, I parked perfectly. The office is also very organized and friendly. Never had any issues in scheduling appointments and got timely and informative reminders. I even emailed them on a Friday night once to reschedule a lesson for next week and they responded the next morning. Driving in the city can be intimidating but I had a great experience and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to drive here!

Fantastic experience: RDS has been great and resourceful from the admin Galina & Princess to driving instructor Jheeson and indeed Domingo Jr. This are gem of the few I’ve personally dealt with. My whole experience is absolutely flawless as the 02 instructors shared various strategy and tactics. Apart from personal experience with decades of driving, I must say I made the right choice. Kudos to Revolution Driving School (NY) Tips: Just remember to always apply SAFETY protocols which is all matter during the real TEST, nothing about driving skills. Btw, I’ve taken 02 lessons and indeed also enjoyed 10% rebate for immediate booking. No hard sell, etc.

I am happy I switched to them. I was lucky to get Arturo as my driving instructor. He is fun, positive, skilled and makes you very relaxed when driving. I honestly can’t recommend him enough. Fantastic experience: Getting my license at Revolution Driving School in Brooklyn was an exceptional experience. My driving instructor was Lyndberg and he couldn't have been more patient, kind and knowledgeable. He truly made me feel confident about my driving skills which i never believed could happen and the lessons would fly by because they were really fun as well as extremely informational. Deborah the coordinator who runs school and sets up the schedule and lessons is so skilled at what she does. The communication and setup of the lessons and road test feels so seamless and effortless but I know she works really hard to make it that way. Deborah, like Lyndberg makes you feel so comfortable through her warmth and kindness. (And there's a pigeon named Benjamin who visits the storefront regularly. Need I say more!) I can't recommend Revolution Driving school enough and am so thrilled that I chose them to teach this nervous driver to drive with confidence.

Fantastic experience: Revolution is an amazing driving school. I highly recommend. Both of my children went through their program and are now licensed drivers. What I liked: responsiveness of the team, organization of the team, and complete understanding of what it takes to pass the test. Queens Antonio taught both kids and was amazing. They were impressed that he could parallel park from the passenger side using the driver side steering wheel and his break. He made sure both passed the test on the first attempt. Bravo to the team for being insanely competent!

He also showed extraordinary care, patience, and professionalism in helping her feel comfortable behind the wheel. Aside from Jhesson's superb instruction and encouragement, the office staff at Revolution Driving School are all extremely friendly and accommodating. Fantastic experience: We had an excellent experience and I highly recommend Revolution Driving School!! My teenager passed his road test with a little over 10 hours of driving lessons with Revolution; he was not able to practice much outside of the lessons. Jhesson was a fantastic instructor who made my son feel at ease and confident driving! He prepared him well for the road test. Galina was wonderful scheduling the lessons as they are quite booked! She scheduled 10 lessons over 9 weeks with the same instructor prior to my paying for the classes. I appreciated not having to worry about scheduling week by week. Having Revolution book and take my soon for road test was the best, less stress for all of us and they know which DMVs to book. Thank you again!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Revolution Driving School. Jhesson was a great instructor and a very warm and friendly person to be around. He made the experience fun and also a success. The prices were high but within reason for NYC. The car was quite functional. The only suggestion I would make is to not schedule classes immediately after another student has a road test. This can be quite stressful for the instructor and the upcoming student. All in all, I would (and have) recommend Revolution.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Revolution Driving School. After learning with another school that I didn't like, I came across Ibo's fantastic parking videos on YouTube and knew I wanted to continue my education with Revolution. Arturo was an amazing instructor, giving specific feedback and boosting my confidence each step of the way. Arturo is funny, warm, and professional — and he totally prepared me to pass my road test. Throughout the process, the office staff was very helpful and efficient in scheduling everything and communicating with me. Now that I have my license, I'm looking forward to taking some long distance and highway courses with Arturo to keep building my skills. Thank you Revolution Driving School!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this driving school. I looked into cheaper schools but they’re communication was terrible. Some never even called me back!! Revolution was available through text, email and calls 7 days a week. I took classes with Michelle and Jhesson. I heard a lot of people fail because of parking but the method Jhesson taught me was so simple that it was the part of the test I was the most confident in. I am so happy to finally have my license at 34. It is never too late!!

Fantastic experience: I booked a 90 minute lesson pre my road test with Revolution Driving School in Brooklyn. The process to book was super easy and Deborah set everything up for me in a matter of days. My lesson pre the test was with Ritchy who helped me make sure I would pass the test. Having driven in Australia and France the last 20 years, I just needed all the tips and knowledge to make sure I passed the test. He was very patient taking me around and around practicing whatever I asked or he felt needed. He was the perfect teacher and gave the perfect pep talk to calm my nerves before the actual test. This school came highly regarded to me from another colleague and I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to get their license in NYC. Thank you both!

Erica and Natalie made the entire process so simple, and Kim and Rey made sure to drill everything you needed improvement on as well as break everything down as simple as possible. Fantastic experience: Today passed the test after taking lessons with Arturo at Revolution Driving school! I was very scared to learn driving in late twenties and first went to a different school but failed my test. Then I discovered Revolution school but was assigned a different instructor. After taking a few lessons with him I felt even more scared to drive than before, so I called the school and asked for someone else and that’s when I was assigned Arturo and that was a game changer. His fun and patient teaching style helped me get comfortable behind the wheel and learn how to actually be able to safely drive in Manhattan including changing lanes and driving on a highway, and today I passed the test! A fun fact - while we were waiting in line for the test today, Arturo saw that I was nervous so he started playing my favorite songs in the car and singing along, so the nerve-wracking 30 min passed by very fast! Definitely recommend this school and Arturo for those who want to learn safe driving while also having fun!

They’re helpful, efficient and friendly and made it easy to get the lessons I needed and set up all the arrangements for the road test. My instructor Kim was fabulous. She identified bad driving habits I had and helped me correct them. She guided me on what I needed to pass the road test and was patient and knowledgeable about the test as well as driving skills in general. I highly recommend Revolution Driving School - and Kim as an instructor!

Fantastic experience: I had Kim as my instructor and she was terrific, very easy going and calm and yet would pick all the things you needed to work on! I had 2 classes back to back because of my tight schedule followed by the road test and she was really upbeat through it all. The front desk and office staff were also amazing at trying to fit my schedules and being great with timely communication Highly recommend them if you want to pass your test!

Fantastic experience: As an experienced adult driver coming from a country that doesn’t have driving license reciprocity with the US, I needed to take my road test in NY State. Really glad I chose Revolution Driving School as the price was reasonable, and they handled the whole process of booking the road exam. I got a lesson before my test and the instructor, Rey, was professional and very helpful. I’m pleased to have passed on my first try. I definitely recommend this driving school.

She was there to answer my millions of questions I had and always gave me good tips on how to drive better,. She is very patient, kind, and extremely skilled, she made me feel confident since the first moment I saw her. Fantastic experience: I’m an international driver who hasn’t driven for quite a while, and I needed to pass the road test to get my New York license. Revolution helped me pass it with flying colors and become a better driver while at it! My instructor was Gary, who is a caring, thoughtful person who gives excellent advice and the best pep talks. He truly made my experience driving more pleasurable, more safe, and I know I’ll be using his tips and technique for years to come. I also had Erika for one class, and she was great, too, and offered another perspective on things. Meanwhile, a special shout out goes to Deborah, the heart of Revolution’s BK outpost: she is extremely sweet, genuinely cares about the students, and always goes above and beyond to help you. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Everything was great! The scheduling was quick and easy, and my instructor, Arturo, is the best. He knew exactly what I need at every step of the way, and he gave me lots of helpful tips and advice on how to pass the road test. Arturo anticipated a lot of issues and challenges that I could face on the road. He was very patient and kind, and it was amazing how he noticed every mistake I made but pointed them out in a nice and constructive way, really encouraging me to learn and make progress. He also was very thoughtful about what I needed to work on more. With each lesson, I felt that I was getting more confident as a driver. And lessons with Arturo were also a lot of fun! I really enjoyed learning to drive with him, and I surely recommend him and Revolution Driving to everyone looking for driving lessons.

Fantastic experience: KIMBERLY IS THE BEST! I have had my license for a couple months now and I would not have passed on the first time if it wasn't for Kim. She is the instructor on 32nd street and I cannot recommend her high enough. She gives such constructive and helpful advice and tips, really the kindest and smartest person 100/10 recommend .
