Fantastic experience: Complete Driving Experience was a very welcoming and engaging experience! Having issues and anxiety in the past from other driving schools like 911, CDX was miles better to work with! Driving with Nyaeza Brazier helped greatly with learning the rules of the road as well as helping with confidence on the road! I cannot recommend them enough, and very grateful for all the help they've gave me. Highly would recommend to anyone looking to learn how to drive, you'll find no place better than here!

Fantastic experience: CDX is amazing! Tara and team were so supportive and easy to work with. I had a LOT of anxiety at the beginning, but by the end of my lessons I was confident and ready to pass the driving test. This is the place to be for anxious drivers, and as someone with ADHD/ASD who struggled with learning to drive when I was younger, I felt supported and understood here. Tara pushed me the right amount to get me out of my comfort zone, and now I’m finally a licensed driver.

Fantastic experience: I WISH I COULD GIVE MORE THAN FIVE STARS!!! Complete Driving Experience FAR EXCEEDED my hopes and expectations- this driving school is founded upon two principles: 1)Producing Highly Skilled, SAFE drivers! 2)Giving back to the community not only by providing local scholarships, but also by giving individualized, truly caring and supportive instruction to each and every student. My 15-year-old son has ADHD, a history of academic challenges, and he was also very anxious about learning to drive! As a mom I was quite nervous myself, but based upon so many extremely positive reviews, I entrusted this process to Tara at CDX, and things simply could not have gone better! She was willing to develop an individualized plan to teach my son to drive, and just a couple of weeks ago he passed Both his written and behind the wheel driving tests, and he is so proud of himself!! Tara's patient and loving instruction not only taught him to be an excellent driver, but she truly helped improve his self-esteem. THANK YOU Tara, from the bottom of my heart- you are a GIFT to our community!!

Negative experience: One of the worst experiences I had as a parent. Chose this school for my teenage daughter's driving classes. The rules may have changed after she was enrolled, however, they were not rules that I had agreed upon when paying the fee to sign her up.. My daughter "failed" her 6th paid driving instruction hour. The business owner acted like we needed to pay more in order to complete the class. It was claimed to be a requirement of the DOL, when this when confirmed by multiple representatives that it was not a requirement. This was highly illegal and unethical , no integrity. After multiple HOURS invested/weeks stressed over, DOL laws quoted and other similar businesses investigated... the owner reversed her stance on the matter and washed her hands clean of us. If it were not for my stubborn wife, we would have been another successful yet completely unethical cash grab victim. This does not even take into account my daughter's emotional impact and confidence based on their behavior towards her. She is a great driver and I'm not saying they taught her nothing (that would be completely inaccurate of me) but the way they used her emotions against us... completely uncool. I do NOT recommend choosing this school for your child's driving instruction.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough nice things about the amazing team at CDX. The office and cars are clean, well laid out for learners, and clearly taken care of. The whole team are clearly pros at this! The amount of teacher experience they have for the price is amazing, this is by far the best bang for your buck in Tacoma. I spent 7 years avoiding learning to drive because it was so overwhelming and scary to me. Over the last six lessons everyone has been so kind and accommodating to my anxiety, giving super helpful tips for managing behind the wheel anxiety, and staying firm enough that I knew I was always safe and always learning. When I had a personal emergency interrupt my drive team Tara was so compassionate, made sure I was OK, and drove us back so I could reschedule. I never thought I would be able to drive due to my really disruptive anxiety but I finally feel like it’s in arms reach! Thank you CDX !!

Gofery was absolutely fantastic! He was patient, knowledgeable, and made me feel at ease behind the wheel. He explained everything clearly and provided helpful tips that really boosted my confidence. Thanks to Gofery's guidance, I passed my driving test. Also, every other person I met was supportive and friendly, I highly recommend this place You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: I should have reviewed earlier since I joined in 2023, but I’m reviewing now and I loved my experience with this driving school! The prices were affordable and it’s convenient that you can do your written and skill exam here too. Classes were fun and engaging and I felt like I retained a lot of knowledge. I loved when Mrs Tara would make us smoothies every Thursday and there are free snacks provided! Scheduling was really easy to do and I appreciate when I get emailed that a cancellation happened and I could take the spot. I felt at ease while doing my drives with Mrs. Tara as she’s patient, understanding, kind and gave many helpful tips of driving during my drives. The CDX car is really easy to drive and modern. This place makes sure that you learn everything you need to know to be a skilled and safe driver. I started class in April 4th and was able to finish my 6 drives, written and skills exam by July 1st as the whole process was easygoing. If my brother chooses to get his license early like me when he turns 16, he’ll be going to this place. I’m so happy that I picked this place!!

Fantastic experience: When I was in my 20s, I was involved in a car accident as a passenger. That experience left me so traumatized, I’d given up on ever learning how to drive. Fast forward to 2022, and my non-driving behind decided to go start a food business. Getting around using Uber has been a struggle, and very expensive. Sometimes Uber drivers will pull up, see how much stuff I’m hauling, and they’ll cancel the ride and drive off. This has happened to me a few times, and it’s very humiliating. These experiences motivated me to once again try learning how to drive. A Google search for local driving schools led me to Complete Driving Experience. I loved that their site highlights driving anxiety, and that their teaching style caters so heavily to people like me. I signed up to take my written test, and almost a year later built up the confidence to actually sign up for driving lessons. I was sooo nervous on the day of my first lesson, that I wasn’t sure I could even go through with it. But Ms Tara and her staff were so kind, compassionate, and encouraging. My instructor, Marcella, is fantastic and has given me the confidence to feel like I can actually drive! For the first time ever, I actually feel like I can do this. My lessons with Marcella were so great and fun. Driving is actually fun! I still need more practice so I can build confidence before taking my road test, but I know I’ll get there. I’m so grateful to CDX for all that they do, and I can’t recommend them enough!

I had some anxiety when starting the program due to experiencing a bad car crash a number of years ago; Tara was accommodating and non-judgemental. I fully recommend this as a driving school option for both kids just reaching driving age, and also those of us who are learning later in life.

Fantastic experience: Complete Driving Experience and the Driving Instructor are absolutely amazing and is perfect for anyone who has trouble with Driving or suffers with test anxiety. The Driving Instructor (DuBois) is very nice and so understanding, if more Driving Instructors were like her, we would all be better drivers.

The ability to make driving entertaining, free of anxiety, while at the same time being professional was the highlight of my schooling there. Written and driving tests were coordinated in time, and she makes sure one is well prepared before either of the test. I think the one thing I will take with me, is the willingness of Tara to be flexible in scheduling. Helps my confidence, tells me where to improve but in a gentle, fair manner. The sort where instead of purposefully breaking you down, it's done nicely to build your skills up. Fantastic experience: I think they do a good job of teaching you how to drive and teaching all of the information needed to be safe driver. I wish their was more activities that we could do to help us memorize the information but overall I really liked the place and the workers/ instructor.

Fantastic experience: Going into it, I was dreading drivers ed just a little cuz I thought it would inconvenience me and be really boring. But Tara and nyaeza were awesome and class was way better than I thought. Tara (the instructor) and the operations manager nyaeza had really really really likable personalities. Also they’re both really accepting of lgbtq+ students and pronouns and stuff. It really is a safe place. And the best part is the FREE SNACKS! Class was actually fun at least for me. it was engaging in my opinion. And there’s also a lot of class time dedicated to completing homework so even if it seems like a lot it’s actually not that bad or suffocating
