Fantastic experience: I am very happy with my courses at Pro Driving NY. I bought one of the packages, which was super convenient. Wilma was very good with the online course, and Emy was great at accommodating the classes to fit my work schedule, communication with the school was always easy. My highlight was my instructor, Helen. Since the first class, she identified my weak points and catered to every class to work to improve them. At the end of each class, she would give me constructive feedback. With this system, I was able to improve my driving skills significantly! Helen is also so nice to be around, and communication with her is so easy and positive; this definitely helped when driving in NY and taking the driving test. With Helen as my teacher, I passed my test on my first try! I highly recommend Pro Driving and Helen as the instructor; thank you for all your support!

Fantastic experience: Choosing this driving school turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. Back in college and during my time working back home, I did some driving but never had proper lessons, and over the years, I completely forgot the basics. Gerry’s calm and patient teaching style made all the difference. He has a natural way of making you feel safe and confident behind the wheel, even in the challenging environment of city driving, where traffic and pedestrians can be unpredictable. I also had the chance to practice in quieter residential areas, which helped me refine skills like proper turning and acceleration. It was such a well-rounded learning experience that I feel genuinely equipped to handle any driving situation now. The program didn’t just prepare me to drive - it prepared me to drive well. The entire team deserves praise! Emmy, from the admin side, is a scheduling wizard. She went above and beyond to accommodate my tight schedule, making the process so smooth and stress-free. Wilma, who oversees the operations with her husband Gerry, truly leads a team dedicated to equipping students with the skills they need - not just to get a license, but to drive confidently and responsibly. Fantastic experience: Had a great time learning how to drive with my instructor Zach. Had only the summer to learn, take classes, and get my license before I went back to school, and I was able to do so with the help of this school and my instructor.

Fantastic experience: I’m very fortunate to have found this school but even luckier to have an amazing group of instructors / gems to work with: Alberto, Zach and Helen. I highly recommend learning with all 3, each for their own reasons. Aside from the fact all 3 have amazing personalities and great sense of humor (from what I’ve read based on reviews from other schools, this seems to be very rare!). Also, this is long so sorry not sorry. For a first time driver, Alberto is perfect to learn with. With his calm, professional demeanor and consistent feedback he sets you up for success for future lessons and more importantly, the road test. He’s extremely helpful throughout each lesson with giving clear instructions, reminders to check blind spots, etc. and gives you the building blocks to become a mindful, confident and safe driver. Parallel parking always seemed super confusing and difficult to me but Alberto was amazing with helping identify when to turn the wheel, find the 45 degree angle (yes, geometry is BACK!) and align between vehicles. Once parked he usually takes out the drivers manual and reads from it to ensure I understand each step is needed to park correctly and safely. At the end of each lesson, there’s feedback and a recap of what we focused on, what can improve and be worked on for the next lesson. He also asks if there’s any questions, reminding you that that car is essentially a classroom. Also to call out he takes the route along Gramercy Park which is the best spot to learn how to drive in a chaotic city. Zach is another instructor who is fantastic to learn with! He’s also very calm, extremely positive, easy going and makes you feel comfortable and secure throughout the lesson. At the beginning of a lesson he asks what I’d like to focus on for the day, he’ll add to the agenda anything we haven’t worked on already / for awhile and if it has been awhile, he’ll take his time doing a recap of what we’ve covered and safety reminders. Using that time in that way is so valuable and thoughtful and ensures each lesson is set up for success. Throughout the lessons he always is open to any questions and takes time breaking down answers. Before my road test, he was open to giving me a mock test which was super helpful!! Helen is also lovely and really warm. She has a complete girl power vibe and is gentle with how she teaches and like Alberto and Zach, is firm when she needs to be. My highlight is when II switched lanes and she clapped excitedly for me, genuinely pleased that I did that so well. For such a small act it was evident she is anyone’s cheerleader. Although I’ve only been taught by her a couple times I appreciate her recognizing how comfortable I seemed along Gramercy and she knew to get me out of my comfort zone into an entirely different part of the city on the lower east side. Driving on Houston and Delancey I got a good feel for driving in traffic and building confidence (sensing a theme here?). For my first road test* Helen was the one to drive me to the site. She checked in on how I was feeling and reassured me it would go well. Even though I failed, I still felt so good that I had someone so encouraging with me. Before the test, she went the extra mile making sure I practiced parking on hills or doing 3 point turns in tight streets just in case I encountered that on the test. Her prep work and character is really amazing. To summarize this school is worth every penny and I really encourage people to consider driving with Alberto, Zach and Helen. They’re all outstanding and I think critical to being able to drive at a beginner level to advanced. Also, quick shout out to Emy and reception who are always so courteous and flexible with scheduling with my insane work schedule! ** = Yes if failed the first road test but it’s a right of passage cause I’m a NYer and I’m new to this UPDATE: I passed the second road test!

Fantastic experience: Such a warm and supportive team of individuals! Emy and Wilma were very supportive throughout my learning journey. Zack was an incredible instructor: process oriented, diligent, understanding, positive, and also supportive! Marc was very helpful when I worked with him as well. Great group of people. Thankful for all their support and would work with them again!

Fantastic experience: Helen is a fantastic driving instructor! Truly a shining star of this driving school. She is kind, patient, informative, and encouraging. She took complicated concepts and broke them down so they were doable. She makes parallel parking seem easy and approachable. Cannot recommend Helen enough.

Fantastic experience: It’s ALL ABOUT HELLEN! Although I’d had a valid UK driving licence for 10+ years I was struggling to get my NYC licence (with 2 failed tests and 80+ points each time :/ ). Hellen at ProDriveNY taught me the ropes practicing in quiet streets in the East Village before moving on to highways and I passed my first test with her. I recommend her to everyone! Thanks Hellen!

Fantastic experience: PDSA a great driving school for Manhattan! They offer all inclusive packages that get you from permit to license. The staff and instructors were friendly and responsive. My instructors Helen and Alberto were very informative and helped me go from never driven to confidently passing the test in 20 hours of instruction. Scheduling availability was good because I tried to book a month out. However keeping track of my schedule was kind of confusing and all changes need to be made manually. The school’s cars were old but serviceable.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend!! I had never driven before this and just got my license yesterday. I had Hellen as my instructor and she is amazing!! She is super kind, patient, and helpful, and I really enjoyed working with her. Definitely check this school out if you’re looking to learn from the beginning or just want a refresher!

Fantastic experience: Helen is a great instructor. This is my second time coming here to this same driving school. My first time with different instructors, I failed my road test. I waited a couple years before coming back. During my second stint, I did all my lessons with Helen. This time I passed my road test. And I am a much better driver now than I was before.

Negative experience: If you want a trust worthy supportive environment this is not the school for you. It was a horrible experience. Alberto did a driving evaluation, in the first 10 mins a woman ran into us. He continued with the evaluation after checking the car and told me, his boss said he should of let the woman drive off, Alberto said it seemed as if she wasn’t going to stop. During the evaluation he told me I drive well, I have control of the car and said I always checked the blind spots but I could improve on parking but that takes experience with angles and distance. He offered lessons I declined. I requested a copy of the report and footage. Which he nor the office ( requested from them as well) sent. In the evaluation report he said the exact opposite of what he said to me. Again I requested a copy of the evaluation ( which I paid for )and the camera footage, during a text the office sent me and no reply regarding my footage. Finally Alberto indicated the office will send a copy of the report, it’s a week later and still nothing. If you want a good experience in and out the car this is not the school for you. There are great driving schools in New York but this is not one, save your time and money.

He is very articulate in explaining what needs to be done in order to parallel park, safely complete a 3-point turn, etc. He is also very kind and friendly, which always made me feel more comfortable during my lessons with him. I passed my road test on my first try thanks to him!

I would like to thank Emily for answering all my questions and working around my schedule. Of course, I have to thank my instructor Alex, he was very helpful and patient. I failed my first test but passed the second time.

Positive experience: Overall I do not recommend this school. The scheduling and the instructors are completely disconnected. My instructor got super mad at me once because he thought he already taught me sth and I had no clue what he was talking about. And he did not apologize after that frustrating class for me. The instructors always said I was ready for road test. I failed horribly and was not able to get any feedback from the instructors. They said they do not provide feedback. And suggested that I schedule another road test… I went to a different school and they told me I was doing this and that wrong, no wonder I failed. These are things should be taught. I took two more classes at a different school and passed with perfect score. Also their price is on the high end. There are plenty other schools with more reasonable price in this area.

The company also made it very convenient to schedule my five hour class, and the driving classes. They worked with my super hectic schedule and I couldn't be more thankful.

Fantastic experience: I am an experienced driver with a foreign license but have never driven in the USA. I took the 90-mins refresher course right before the road test at Red Hook, Brooklyn. Joel made sure I understood all NY traffic rules and requirements before the actual test. Passed at once. Thank you so much Joel for calm and kind instructions and also Emy who was very kind and helped with smooth registration process. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Growing up a kid on the mean streets of London, I never learned to drive; besides, any car gets stolen in 2-3 minutes flat when left unattended in my neighborhood. Fortunately, I came to America and found the professional driving school - my instructor Zach was superb, a perfect combination of patience, clear guidance, and steadily building confidence. He makes things seem simple, and generally they are. I highly recommend him! And indeed, I passed first time. Now I just have to solve the crime problem in London and I can get a car to drive.

Fantastic experience: The school was very professional (always on time and nice clean cars), responsive to emails and calls, caring, and easy to work with! I have nothing but good things to say. I had Christian and Zach as my instructors. Christian helped me stay calm and get used to being behind the wheels without feeling stressed out and rushed. He is very patient. Zach is a great teacher and listener!!! He points out exactly and very clearly what needs improvement as well as what you did right. With a balanced feedback, it was easier to feel comfortable and confident while making progress. He is very observant and tailors his lessons and his style of teaching to your personality and skill levels. Zach turned me from dreading the lessons to enjoying the driving. He took me to my road test today (passed, wohoo!) and made me feel very calm and at ease. He ensured I indeed was ready and also felt so, which seems to be a big part of the test. I highly recommend the school and Zach to anyone who is new to driving!

Fantastic experience: I passed on my first try with instructor Joel! I did the test in Maspeth (Queens), and thought I failed it because the inspector did not ask me to parallel park. Lesson is to BE CONFIDENT throughout the test. Joel is a great instructor who is very patient and attentive to your personal skills. He gives great tips and advice for the test and for my long-term driving skills. The staff are also very courteous and are very responsive to my needs. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Horrible service rude people. Very unprofessional instructor's. Would scream and get upset at me even though I told the instructors I was nervous and they did not take that into consideration. I had to exit the car because of the rude service. I called the driving school to explain the situation and the school put me one hold for 1 hour. I called again and the manager was supposed to call me back but they never did. I called again requesting my money back but they hesitated. It was long process and I only got a precent of it back. So if your a new nervous driver DO NOT COME HERE

Fantastic experience: First of all, I would like to say that this is going to be a long detailed review because this amazing school doesn’t deserve less. I can confidently say that the Professional Driving School of the Americas is the best driving school in New York City! I feel so lucky that I found this school and that they helped me pass my road test. Wilma is an amazing kind lady who cares about her students. This school is not only a business for her but her passion. She is a person who cares about her students and makes sure that they build their skills to be ready to pass the road test. Her staff is also amazing. Emy is a very kind person inside and out who assisted me whenever I needed help. My work schedule is a bit complex which required me to practice very early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Emy made me an amazing schedule so I was able to focus on my driving skills without getting worried. Another sweet lady who assisted me was Mei. She followed up with me before the road test and made sure that I had my documents ready. I have a driver’s license from my home country but after living in NYC for almost 6 years, I thought that It was time to get my driver’s license in the states. After completing my pre-licensing course, they assigned my first instructor Manny. Manny was a great Instructor and after the first lesson, he was able to determine what we needed to focus on. I have always been anxious about being behind the wheel, but he made sure that I overcome my fears and was focused when I was driving. Throughout our lessons, he helped me to get over my anxiety when driving in New York City. I also had the privilege to have a lesson with Joel. Joel is an extremely helpful instructor who has decades of experience in this field and helped me with my 3-point turn and parking skills. Zach was my last instructor who helped me to reach a point where I was extremely comfortable driving behind the wheel, making great turns, and parking in any spot without any problem. Zach has a great sense of humor. The minute we met, he put me at ease and he helped me to improve my skills to pass the road test. Zach was very patient with me. Whenever I made a mistake, he gave me very clear feedback so I wouldn’t repeat it. We always started/ended our lessons on time. Also, Zach takes amazing care of his car. Driving in a nice clean car really makes a difference. I passed my exam in Staten Island, Fox Hills. I had a great early morning lesson on the day of my exam. Zach boosted my confidence and I passed my exam thanks to him. I believe that mentally being ready for the road test is key to success and Zach made it happen. I highly recommend Zach to anyone who wants to pass this test because he makes sure that you do! To sum up, anyone will benefit greatly from having the support services of this kind and caring school. I can’t thank Wilma and her amazing team enough!

Fantastic experience: I want to give the BIGGEST SHOUT OUT TO ZACH! My instructor. I booked several lessons because I doubted myself, but my instructor did not. He had a great deal of patience with me. There was a mix up in schedule but Wilma and Zach were wonderful in correcting everything. Thank you!

Negative experience: I am writing this review as a courtesy to my friend who took the driving lessons with Manny ( one of the instructor) - he literally didn't give any instructions at all except showing my friend how bad of a driver he was...He was very impatient and irritated if you make a mistake and always had an attitude. If there is a negative scale for teaching efficiency, his is gonna be infinity. Otherwise, the other instructors are all pretty good.

Negative experience: This people awful they lied to me they just took my money 412 $ and than they kept lying to me about my road test qppointment that they gonna let me know sending me the mail etc but they never did actually. And they dont refund the money either. They are very dangeruos i completly felt that they robbed me. Scamed me. I cant trust people like that. They lied to me unfortunetly i had to figure out myself that already they had my appontment booked on dmv and they werent be able to send me the appointment and let me know on time. Hahhaha when i called the lady she said o yeah i have ur appointment i gonna send it to u never did. So tell me how can i trust people like that ? Guys pls stay away from this driving school. Dont waste ur time n money w this people. This people dont drserve either 1 dollar. U already promised to me on monday ur ginna let me know on monday u never did. N today i called u again f my appointment u still didnt sent it to me after my mail either. So cant trust. U didnt keep ur promieses n now ur tryna clear ur hands. U already shudve let me knkw on monday when u promised to me. And also u guys know that i coming from pennsylvabia and i asked u to let me know on time days n days ago before my appointment. U made me completly uncomftable. And now that i dont want ur servjce after all this u dont wanna eveb refund back my money the car and 1 hour lesson amount coz im not taking ur services. Yes u also made mistake when i went practice to driving i trusted u thas why i didnt check the mail. I asked u to have time for me 2-4 pm. And the lady she booked for me 3-5 pm. So thas whas her mistake she is the 1 who shoudv4 apologized from me. Thas when i asked back refund back the 1 hour class money and she said she is not doing it ik u guys dony refund momey. Ik u guys already i have a very bad experience w u thas why i want back my money. 1 thing i can tell guys stay away from this people. The other driving school the lady she sent me back the money coz i coudng find my learner permit id and she sent it to ke back the wjole money. But this people this company very unfair. Be really really carefull is too much money on the risk them to be like that. This is completly horrible. Be very very very carefulll. I working hard for every dollar and i payed too much money to this people. And finally i dont want them service after all this stress they gave me no wonder that i dont wanna deal w them anymore and they not be able to refund back my money. They just robbing me

Fantastic experience: A long overdue review! I had zero experience behind a wheel and was definitely prone to being nervous. Joel was literally the best instructor one could ask for. I didn't realize how much about road safety and practical driving knowledge I learned from him until I became a driver myself. Knowing how to maintain your position and avoiding getting stuck at the intersection is important especially in New York. And not many drivers learned that through instructors. Even my friends who have experience for years find it challenging to maneuver through the traffic in the city. Wilma and Emy were also great and friendly working around my schedule.

Negative experience: Not very happy with my lesson today. I wanted it to end quickly. Even before getting on the road the instructor was already impatient and displayed an attitude.I have social anxiety and was already nervous so his attitude definitely made me less confident and did not help in the slightest. Once on the road he was more of a distraction than an instructor. This was my first time behind a wheel. I used the break twice while driving, once by mistake and once more because he shouted at me which caught me off guard. That moment is what ruined everything else. It activated my “fight or flight” and anyone with social phobia can relate. He had a moment or two where he appeared to congratulate me, but for the most part it was critical. I was waiting for the course to end as I was feeling depleted and a further lack of confidence. Especially due to one of his comments. He clearly did not want to instruct me again. For the money (70/hr) I expected better. I would not recommend this company if you’re new/inexperienced to driving. Perhaps if you’re already a driver that needs to brush up your skills. Or if you’re desensitized and someone’s tone of voice or volume doesn’t affect you. Either way, I still wouldn’t recommend.

Fantastic experience: The school was definitely a big factor for me to pass the driver's test. The instructor that I got assigned with was kuya Joel who is very professional, knowledgeable and nice. The money I paid for was worth it and reasonable.

Fantastic experience: I had great experience with this driving school and instructor Joel. I loved the fact that he would pick me up and drop me off at my place after the lesson. Joel was very thorough, encouraging and taught me great driving habits. I felt very well prepared and passed the driving test from a first attempt.

Negative experience: Jenica from the office was the best at scheduling and very patient and understanding. I had Manny as my instructor and took 13 dreadful hours with him, he was very impatient and would get very irritated with me when I made a mistake. I did not appreciate his attitude. His response was that he was trying to teach me and this is his way of "giving me confidence". Manny also almost fell asleep at one point while I was driving and I was disappointed as I had paid for my lesson with no real help given by him. I am glad my last lesson at this school was with another instructor. I quickly switched to another school and had the most amazing instructor that was kind, patient, and he helped me pass the road test for the first time. I looked forward to his classes unlike my experience before with this school.

Fantastic experience: Passed on my first try! So i was recommended Pds through a family friend who (had also passed their test on their first try and had amazing things to say). While i had a busy schedule pds was willing to work around it and accommodated my need for a drivers license asap. my instructor joel was amazing ! he took his time and explained everything very thoroughly to me, as i had some driving experience but needed to know the technicalities for the test, he gave me all the information needed and more, not to mention was so nice! Alex met me at 7 am the day of my test to make sure that i was well prepared for later that day ! he was also very thorough and easy to learn from. while making me drive he acted as if it was the test asking me to turn or make a 3pt turn or pull up next to a car and parallel park! this absolutely eased my nerves!! overall i cannot recommend Joel and Alex enough to anyone who is going to learn at Pds, this small business is absolutely doing it right !!

Fantastic experience: I was a VERY nervous driver. So much so, I put off getting my license until my mid-twenties. I ended up taking about 15+ hours of driving classes with Joel. Despite many tears of fear and frustration at the beginning, by the end of our time together, not only did I pass my test, but I drove all the way back from the test which was near JFK airport in a storm!(Highway driving was particularly anxiety-provoking at one point.) I’m now driving regularly on my own, and in peace! I couldn’t recommend this driving school more—and Joel specifically—particularly if you have a lot of stress about learning how drive.

I highly recommend him to any of my family and friends.He will give you tips and guidelines for the road test. Negative experience: They here to remind you everyday to make payment for the reservation you took but once you paid they really don’t care about you coming to take class or no plus the Chinese instructors is very disrespectful he be vaping in the car during training not answering all your questions.. plus they’re are using old cars to teach.. y’all suppose to better cause your office is located in Manhattan plus 70$/h to not be treated good is just a bad experience

Fantastic experience: Just went to pass my test with Gerry! We had fun and it was easy with all is good advise. Funny story I passed my licence there 20 years ago and till today the service is still ! Thanks Gerry!

Negative experience: Terrible driving school. Rude, unfriendly, and very unprofessional. Edit: I would like to clarify what I previously said. I think it is only fair for me to provide examples of what I mean when I say I had a terrible experience. My personal instructor was absolutely awful at teaching me what I needed to know in order to pass my test. He did not teach me how to parallel park until the 30 minutes I had to practice right before my test. Upon not being able to learn how to master the most important portion of the test (parallel parking) in 30 minutes, he told me to just figure it out as I’m taking my test. In addition to that, my instructor was consistently smoking his juul ''e-cigarette'' both when I was driving or when he would take the wheel. He had horrible hygiene and the car smelled like nicotine throughout my driving lessons and during my road test due to this. It was absolutely disgusting. I could give other examples but I’d rather keep my review relatively short and concise rather than going on and on about every additional problem that I experienced. I purposefully decided to write this review once NYC was back to normal because I didn’t want to damage a small business’s reputation during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic during which all small businesses were already suffering enough. I definitely do feel a little bit bad for writing such a horrible review in a time in which businesses in NYC are suffering, but I strongly feel that what I said must be said publicly for other people to know. If the company would like to contact me so I can further express what I experienced. Fantastic experience: Had a great experience here!! It was the only school that had been reviewed positively by Time Out and even though this was from back in 2003 I decided to go with them anyway. Glad I did!! I took 10 hourlong lessons and the 5 hour pre-licensing Zoom class over the course of about 1.5 months and passed the road test on the first try. I had Joel and Hoi as my instructors and they were both great (different styles but it was good to experience that too). Both were always on time, professional, and very engaged in teaching. They never slacked off and were constantly watching and advising. I felt like they were really committed to seeing me get my license. The front desk is also really responsive. I mainly communicated with them via email and it was always an easy process even through scheduling conflicts. I will say they are slightly more expensive than some of the other schools out there (and unfortunately didn’t give me the 10 pack discount even though I purchased 2 5 packs [had to because of personal scheduling uncertainties]), but I do think they’re worth it and I’m happy with the end result!!

Fantastic experience: Great experience!!! Had to get prepared for my US road test. Had been driving for over a decade in EU and Joel helped me understand the subtle differences between EU and US traffic/rules; very valuable. And I PASSED! Grateful to the team and in particular Joel - he's the best!!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this driving school! They helped me get my license in a month - excellent service from day 1. My driving instructor, Joel was very professional and incredibly helpful with helping me navigate driving in New York as well as practicing good driving habits (and getting rid of my bad ones!). He was very calm and focused and thanks to his training and help w my driving practice, I was able to easily pass my DMW driving exam. Thank you to Joel and the rest of the staff for all your help!

Fantastic experience: My thanks to this amazing school who helped me to get my license in under a month! Wilma and Jenica are kind and patient and Jenica will get back to you in record time when you have any questions. The school is also very careful when it comes to covid which put me at ease. The best part for me though was Joel! Such a great teacher...calm, understanding, flexible and wonderful at breaking bad habits and truly teaching you a safe and smart way to drive. Someone said the cars are old, well it is a great way to learn, because new cars will be easier to drive so I left the school with better skills than I thought I could develop. Fantastic experience: I would hands-down recommend this driving school to anyone looking for one. Wilma and Jenica at the office were very helpful and prompt in scheduling and coordinating all the lessons and road test. Gerry, my instructor, was AMAZING. He’s absolutely patient and assuring. For a novice driver like me, he helped instill a lot of confidence and taught me all the right techniques. He made driving lessons fun and the lesson just before my road test really helped me to pass. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience! I have been driving in Europe since I am 18 but taking the exam in the US has some subtleties and the 90mn drive preparation with Gerry were very useful that allowed me to fix some bad habits and get mentally prepared for the exam. PASSED!

I passed on my first try and very affordable considering all the conveniences with providing gear, booking your test, and taking you there and back. Gerry was my teacher he rocks!! And is very nice!

I had a perfect experience from start to finish - everyone I interacted with was EXTREMELY helpful, professional, and genuinely wanted me to pass my road test. Joel is the best driving instructor I could have asked for - I was a complete beginner and in just under two months I was able to feel confident driving around Manhattan and passed my Road Test. Fantastic experience: Strongly recommended! I recently took a package including 7 driving lessons plus the driving test (only 7 because I already have a little bit of experience). Mel was super helpful with the scheduling. Gerry, the instructor, is probably the best driving instructor I ever had: very informative, very careful and polite. I'm a bit tall and I feel uncomfortable in small cars, but the school was able to find a larger car, which was great! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Had never drove in my entire life, was nervous at first but with two months of practice and with the driving instructor Joel as my teacher, it became easier and easier each time. Also the second time I practiced, the day before my first one, I had already gotten used to it and got less and less nervous each time I got behind the wheel. With Joel Trinidad being an amazing instructor, I did my test with ease and will be getting my license very soon!

Fantastic experience: I needed to get a NY driving license as I only had one from my country. From the first contact with the school everything went smoothly (as every working professional needs it). Mel was very professional on the admin and customer experience. Manny, my instructor, made sure I am aware of all my areas of improvements and put me in shape in our 2 hours warm up class. Fantastic experience: I passed my road test (on automatic!) first time round thanks to my instructor's (Gerry) patience and clear, step-by-step teaching methods. I started learning, a total beginner, on stick shift a year ago, and while it took me some time to get back to regular lessons, the staff at the school were always flexible and friendly in setting up lessons, the prelicensing course, and finally, the road test. I have a couple of friends who learned to drive here, so I knew I would have a good experience, even as a first time driver in the heart of Manhattan!
