The best part about working with Kathy is that the instructors don’t just focus on the overall mechanics of driving. They also help you acknowledge issues like anxiety and building confidence on the road, and teach you skills that allow you to be a great driver overall. They push you outside of your comfort zone all while prioritizing safety. I highly recommended working with Kathy, you will get MORE than your money’s worth!

He only did two hours with them, the week prior and today my son used their vehicle to take the road test and passed with flying colors! They were so good with my son he’s only 17. I’m super happy! Fantastic experience: I had the right choice to select Kathy’s driving school for the driving class. Kathy is very friendly and delivered the best service to the student. She’s a good coach too. Only suggestion is it’s better to display all the coaches’ name in the website when a student is asked to select a coach for a reservation.

Fantastic experience: I had originally been taking class from Mejia driving school and I didn’t get much help for the driving test so I failed the first time after I was nervous to take driving classes thinking that they weren’t going to help me as much but as soon as I took the 10 hour class I was more confident then ever I was going to be able to pass my instructor Jemmy helped me so much and was very supportive when it was time to take the test I felt ready because she had been preparing me and I passed with flying colors!!! Would definitely recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Took the 10 hrs of practice. Picking up and dropping off to your house is part of that package as well as taking you to the DMV for your road test. I was super nervous before the test, but thanks to Jemmy who kept encouraging me and told me to keep relaxed and just breathe and that I will be fine. I passed the test just with the help of Jemmy. Come to Kathy’s driving school and find Jemmy to be your instructor!

Fantastic experience: Kathy is great! I needed a car with RI plates for the road test, and she helped me out. She was very kind & responsive. She showed me around the car before the test started. I was nervous (even though I had a license before that expired from out of state), but she put me at ease. They are clearly one of (if not the) highest rated driving schools in the area for a reason. I passed just fine. If you’re like me and need a car for the test, go here!

Fantastic experience: Before working with Jemmie I had never driven before, so I just can’t believe how fast she was able to teach me to drive! I took the 10 hour course, which includes home pick up & drop off, as well as a rental car to take the test in. It’s incredibly helpful to be able to take the test in the same car you practiced in, and I really appreciate that the service is included :) The lessons themselves consist of running through the dmv test course, driving on busy roads and highways, parallel parking, three point turns, 50 foot reverse, and various styles of parking, all with real cars on real roads.

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful for Kathy and was very happy with my lessons. Kathy was kind, understanding, knowledgeable and even went above and beyond to set up make shift test areas so that I could practice the exact test and be prepared. I had a lot of anxiety being a first time, adult driver but Kathy made me comfortable and always remained patient when I made a mistake or forgot a step in what I was learning. I had a bad experience with another driving school in the area and almost gave up on trying to get my license. Thanks to Kathy I was able to get my license within three lessons. Fantastic experience: Kathy was excellent, very friendly, communicative, and nonjudgmental. A few times she was late, but would always let me know and provide alternate appointments to make sure I got all the practices I paid for, and would frequently go over time to make up for it if she did happen to be late. I speak English, but she is also bilingual, which is indispensable for folks who speak Spanish. With her help I passed my road test on the first try!

Fantastic experience: Even though I have a foreign driving license, I had to do the driving test again. I didn't do parallel parking and things like that for ages, so I decided to book a 2 hour package with Kathy. It was great. It helped me perfectly prepare for the road test and Kathy was very helpful with tips and tricks. Like this, the road test was easy. I recommended the driving school also to my other friends, who have no driving experience and I am sure they will learn a lot.

Fantastic experience: I had never driven prior to Kathy’s Driving School, but through the 10hr course and with my driving instructor Jemmy, I was able to pass the road test on my first try no problem! Jemmy has excellent communication and always contacted me before any practice appointments while giving helpful pointers and maintaining a calm environment. Although the road test is in a parking lot, the practices taught me driving both on the road and even bouts on the highway in addition to understanding the maneuvers of the road test. Especially as an international and college student, I was nervous about driving but Kathy’s Driving School gave me confidence on the road. Highly recommend!

She was so patient with me and worked very well with my schedule. She was very thorough with the entire process begging to end. Positive experience: I had a very good experience with Roberto Kathy’s brother, and with Kathy as my driving instructors. They are super nice and we’re very patient with me. Always made me feel super comfortable behind the wheel. Both redirected me when needed, and always explained the task at hand. If I had any questions they would always explain it in a way that I could understand. I couldn’t be more appreciative of both of them, as I passed my exam on the first try! Thanks to them!!! Fantastic experience: Kathy knew the test inside and out, and taught really clearly how I should clear the road test. The road test is only in the parking lot, but Kathy also felt it was important that I knew how to drive on normal roads and highways safely and confidently, so she made sure to include highway and road driving practice on top of road test practice— which I greatly appreciated since commuting is why I wanted to learn driving in the first place. The 10 hour package for me was perfect to get comfortable behind the wheel! Would recommend Kathy 100% :)

Positive experience: Kathy is patient and very knowledgeable. Yesterday was my road test and I passed-thanks to Kathy! Getting my license has been one of my biggest goals and I am so happy to have achieved this.

Positive experience: I bought 3 lessons in October or November of 2021and received two before the end of the year. Communication was not the best, and I have not heard a single thing from Kathy since December. Scheduling was not consistent because of myself so I’m placing no blame for that. However I have reached out multiple times since January and have had no response, even when asking to just get a refund for the last lesson. The lessons themselves were great and I am now a good driver, but nothing else about the service is deserving of praise. I don’t care about the money anymore, it’s just a poor move on their part.

Negative experience: THE DRIVER SHOWED UP 38 MINUTE LATE AND THEN LIED AND TOLD HER SISTER/owner THAT WE WEREN'T THEIR. Spoke with owner about my daughter getting the additional time to make up for their lateness. They promise to refund or allow my daughter the time and never responded. Still to this day no one has gotten back to us. The driver stated that she was running late and told the sister/owner that I was demanding that they give my daughter the time. I was trying to make arraignments for her to get what we paid for. So they stated that they not going to allow her the time. Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Very good school. I passed my driving test today! I came in knowing nothing and came out a pretty good driver. I did 10 hours. The one thing I would think that should be bettered is the communication because at first my instructor didn’t know at what time I had classes. After it was settled, everything went smoothly.
