Fantastic experience: Great instructors. I took the program and 3 classes later i passed my driving test first try. I did it in march and had my license in april. Was a very fun time and easy to learn. They are patient and understanding. you learn defensive driving and thats how to stay safe. They offer a Tesla program too which is nice.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Driving School with great instructors. I recently passed my behind-the-wheels driving test with Northwest Driving School and I couldn’t be happier with my learning experience. Special thanks to Ms. Debra for her empathy, patience and support. The school’s approach to teaching is thorough, making one well-prepared for the test and also lots of thanks to Frankie and Roy for making each lesson enjoyable and educational.

Fantastic experience: Being a MD with anxiety of driving, Roy Johnson is one of the best instructors I've ever met. He provided me confidence, and I ended up getting a perfect score on my DMV driving exam. I read the previous comment by Rye which is totally fabrication. I send all my clients who do not have their license to Roy, who has demonstrated professionalism and great passion in love for his desire for you to get your license. I've talked to Roy's daughter and family and learned that he's a great leader, father, and really loves and care for people. All my friends and clients has great experiences with one of the greatest personalities I've ever encountered, especially when it comes to overcoming phobia of driving. I highly recommend him and Northwest Driving school.

Fantastic experience: Simone Ranson, Margaret Estrada, and Frankie Fopiano are all excellent instructors and no doubt are the sole reason I passed with a 90% on my drivers test. Very patient and knowledgeable I learned something new in every behind the wheel session. They will equip with the knowledge to become safe driver.

Negative experience: I wanted to talk about this when these occurrences happened but I was too afraid to. Now, I’m open to sharing my experience here at this driving school. I went here a few months ago with different instructors, some were good, some made it an enjoyable learning experience, and one of them made it completely uneasy for me. This one instructor made it uneasy because at first, it was going smoothly then suddenly I get asked about my age and they automatically went, “Oh you’re legal” which I brushed off because yes, I was 18. Fast forward, they became unprofessional by venting to me about their ex-girlfriend, singing obnoxiously loud in the car, blasting music, and overall, I thought this was weird but I didn’t think too much of it as this was my first instructor and driving lesson ever, however I did not consent to any of this. Later on, we drove by this instructors house, which may not be strange entirely, but at that point, I was fueled with anxiety after all of the previous behaviors. Not to mention, they sounded upset because they told me to ask them questions about themselves. This wasn’t a key concern and my priorities lie elsewhere. After that entire lesson, we parked, he told me to not have kids, and didn’t grade me. This instructors name is Roy Johnson. Despite that first day mess, I had some great instructors! A big thank you to Christopher and Pedro especially! They made me feel safe, they focused on the lesson, and were patient, yet direct.

Fantastic experience: I’m so Happy I choose North West Driving School because I found the best Instructor Miss Margaret I learn a lot from her. She is awesome person good teacher, Instructor and very professional. She will prepare you for every possible scenario in the road I passed my drive test first time. I highly recommend her thank you Miss Margaret your the best.

Fantastic experience: Pedro was the best instructor ever! He was kind and funny and helped me pass my driving test. He would have me drive to the DMV, where my test would be held, and then do practice tests until I passed. Without him I would have been so nervous but he was such great help and taught me many tips and tricks! Would definitely recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Ms.Debra was my instructor and she helped make me feel more confident in my driving. I had very little road experience when I first started with her and she helps point out every little detail. I learned so much from her and she was also a. Fun person to talk to. Overall I had a good experience and would recommend everyone to go with her.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank teacher Dave Cook for giving me his valuable advice on taking my driving test. He made me feel safe and was attentive at all times and just one class was enough for me to pass my exam. All the advice he gave me was key to passing my exam.

Negative experience: Who ever this driving instructor you should probably avoid. This person decided to cut us off cause they didn't want to wait in the on ramp. Definitely wouldn't want my child learning to drive from this individual. This was around 5:20 pm

Fantastic experience: I was not happy with my first instructor I really wanted to rebook all my session with Ms. Margaret but she is always fully booked so I booked 1 month ahead with her and I'll give them a 5 star because of Ms. Margaret! She is indeed the best!!!! I passed my drive test first time. Highly recommended her. I hope she's still teaching when it's my kids turn to drive.

Fantastic experience: Ms. Debra is one of the best teachers I ever had. She guided me all the way. She is very kind, considerate, patient yet very firm with me. She took my worries away. She makes sure she knows her students well to be able to teach them the knowledge and skills they need in defensive driving. She is just the best. I always love having lessons with her. I am just confident when she is my instructor. I would also like to extend my gratitude to Ms. Brittany and Ms. Margaret. I had classes with them, too. They are very efficient as driving instructors and are wonderful to work with. They will do their best to help you and guide you in defensive driving. Would love to book more driving lessons with these instructors only that they're always booked. Thank you Ms. Debra, Ms. Brittany and Ms. Margaret! :)

Fantastic experience: I am really grateful by the classes that I took with you and the good prices for your lessons, in special for the driver instructor Marisa Thomas who teach me very well, Her method to teach is very understandable, and she speak Spanish to that is very helpful ,I recommend you guys get this school and this teacher.

Fantastic experience: Has great driving lessons, absolutely helped me become a better driver, the experience was amazing with the intrustors.

Negative experience: The driving instructor had a kid make a left turn from a straight lane, almost colliding with my vehicle with three children inside. The instructor then drops his seat so low we can't see his face and covers up behind big sunglasses and a hat. I wouldn't risk my child by giving them business!! Reckless and irresponsible.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with my driving instructor -Marisa Thomas and with the driving school. She was very kind, friendly, supportive, encouraging, and made every single driving lesson so enjoyable and comfortable. She really did help calm my nerves and was very patient with me. When I passed my drivers test today, it was all thanks to Marisa Thomas and to this school. I highly recommend Marisa Thomas and Northwest Driving School to anyone who wants to find a place to learn how to drive. It was worth every dollar spent. Thank You So Much.

Fantastic experience: Northwest Driving School is awesome! It was very beneficial taking these lessons at Northwest (not just because I passed my test on the first attempt) because they teach you different tricks and skills that can ultimately help you park, change lanes, downshift gears etc. They also took me on the same route as the test so when it came time to test, I was comfortable and ready to pass. They may also teach you some useful skills that may not be on your test like parallel parking and using the lower gears (Which I had no idea what they were before) like D3, 2, 1. Overall it was a great experience that I would definitely recommend for newer drivers.

Fantastic experience: I was able to use the Tesla 3 they have and it's so fun. If you are a good driver you get to drive on the highway. If you can use this school!

Fantastic experience: I had rented one of their cars to use for my driving test and got Vicki Williams as my instructor. She was insanely kind, very funny, and incredibly helpful in prepping me for the test. She helped me a lot to calm down and gave tons of pointers, hints, and good reminders while driving. I highly reccomend her to anyone! Fantastic service, and fantastic people.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about this driving school, it's absolutely incredible! Margaret is the instructor I've had the pleasure of learning from. In the past, I've had other instructors who made me terrified of driving for years. However, after just a few minutes in the car with Margaret, all my fear vanished. Fantastic experience: Northwest Traffic School is a great school! My thoughts and experiences after having lessons with 3 of some of the school’s great instructors: Vicki - She’s good at giving you drills and instructing you to develop habits for precise and safe driving! Christopher - Very by the book to help you be aware of the physical forces/motions of driving as well as law requirements! Roy - Profound at helping you develop the muscle memories and the mindset you need to confidently and expertly drive! All share the same qualities too, of course!

Fantastic experience: Miss Margaret is AMAZING!!! She was not only a great instructor but also patiently taught me the routes, eased my mind and great company at the DMV. This was my fifth time taking the drivers test when I finally pulled the trigger and paid for this and it’s COMPLETELY WORTH IT. If you can, ask for miss Margaret, you’ll love her, she’s your gal and your lucky charm.

Negative experience: Horrible experience. Paid in full on their website for 50 hours, could not register for the lessons. Had to call several times to get times scheduled, they couldn't get their website, the only place the web and phone directs you to schedule at, to actually schedule the lessons. Instructors were often late to lessons, two were no show, no call, couldn't find my son's school, even with the address. One instructor, Roy, who per their website still works there, took my son on 2 night driving lessons. During the first he had him drive to Lake Las Vegas at 9pm, get out of the car, and walk around the lake "to chat". The second one he had him drive to the liquor store because he had a "slow acting shellfish allergy" and forgot his epi pen so needed to buy some tequila to stave off the allergy. I addressed this with the director who stated they would find out what happened and address it, they did nothing and this guy still works there. Took 3 weeks and 4 emails to get his driving log after we left the school. Do not use. Not worth it.

Fantastic experience: I took the driving lessons this past week and I got Pedro and Frank. They both were so very supportive when you first get started with them. They also always made me feel comfortable driving. I learned so much from these lessons from both of them!

Fantastic experience: I just want to say Everything with this company was smooth and easy!! I had the pleasure of my instructors being Vicki and Marrisa. Fantastic experience: Five star is only for Margaret. I had a horrible experience with this driving school. My first driving lesson was with Christopher. The first red flag was that I was the one who had to contact him to confirm. He didn't reply to my texts which was totally okay I was willing to wait but I had to call him and he answered my phone call, while in a lesson with someone else, I feel sorry for the student he had during that time. He could've easily texted me back. Because in our two hour session he was on his phone I don't know doing what. As soon as he was at my place to pick me up I told him that I knew how to drive I was just a little nervous and anxious. He did not take this serious at all. He was sighing, raising his voice, was totally negative commenting at everything I did. I'm pretty sure he told me I was going to fail my test at least 4 times. I originally had one two hour lesson to freshen up and I was also going to use the school's car to take my exam which was with Margaret. But because of the horrible experience with Christopher, I had to take another lesson to seriously see if I was the problem. I took one more two hour session with Roy. Roy was okay. He talked the whole two hours. He was flirty which made me feel very uncomfortable. He told me about how he has so much money and how he's going to retire soon. He told me "so how do you feel about me....not relationship wise as your instructor” … It was just not okay the way that these people made me feel. Especially while I was trying to focus on driving. If you are a girl you would understand when a male is giving you the look. Both Christopher and Roy gave me that look. I felt disgusted. If anyone from the school contacts me I will gladly give them the date and the time I had my lessons so they can take a look at the camera recordings. I never write bad reviews anywhere but I saved my money to take these lessons and I did not deserve that experience. 

I would just like to thank Margaret for being so positive and uplifting me on my test day. She was the only reason why I pasted my test with a 96. This school should be glad that they have Margaret.

Fantastic experience: My mom taught my siblings to drive but she was concerned about teaching me because I have dyslexia and am easily distracted. She signed me up with NW Driving school and my behind the wheel instructor was Dave Cook. He was patient and kind. All I can say is that I got a score of 100% on my Drive Test at the DMV and now I get to drive to school! Thanks Mr. Cook!

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Margaret Estrada and today I passed my drivers test! honestly she’s the best instructor ever. Before having margaret I had an instructor who i had a negative experience with, him basically telling me it would be impossible for me to learn how to drive, yet here I am now licensed and learned how to drive with Margaret. i’m forever grateful for her and her teaching skills. Margaret is very kind and makes you feel comfortable and what is even more awesome is she doesn’t make you feel dumb she encourages you and gives you tips on how you can improve without making you feel bad. She makes learning fun and after having a lesson with her you will feel like time went by so fast. She motivates you and treats you with respect. Before taking my test today she keep encouraging me and said positive things to me.If you are thinking in taking driving lessons take Margaret! Thank you so much Margaret you’re wonderful :)!

Fantastic experience: Bill was very helpful in teaching my daughter driving lessons. She also had a good in class drivers Ed course with Frankie. I think that is important as well. Online would not have been good for her. She was trained on the freeway by lesson 4! Pricey but worth every cent! Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank NWDS and Bill enough! My daughters confidence went from 0 to100 with this entire experience. We purchased the 15/10 program (which is great!) my daughter was lucky enough to have two different instructors. Bill was so very patient, kind and funny which really helped out a lot. When it was offered for us to do a lesson with him we jumped and said yes. Bill has her ready for her test for sure. Thank you to Frankie also for starting her out and introducing us to Bill. He trained him well!!! We felt it was beneficial enough we purchased two more lessons! Thank you Frankie and Bill!

Positive experience: My experience was overall successful. I took two classes with Marisa and on the day of my driving test I had a lesson with Frankie. Marisa was laid back and chatty while Frankie was direct and stern. Marisa made me very comfortable which is what any new driver needs. Frankie made me nervous. He kept grabbing the steering wheel which may have been necessary once out of the ten times he did it. That being said, he is extremally knowledgeable. He gave a lot of helpful tips that helped me pass (on the first try) despite him basically telling me I wouldn't multiple times, right before my test. If you're more timid and fold under pressure, dont choose Frankie as your instructor. If you are the opposite I assure you he is perfect. He will make you a much better driver and he will teach you what you need to know to get that license in your hand.

Negative experience: Not a good look Northwest driving School! My son was to have his first behind the wheel driving lesson today at 10:30. No one ever showed up, no email, no telephone call... Nothing! Horrible business practices and I will be requesting my money back!

Fantastic experience: While searching for driving schools on Google, I decided on Northwest Driving School to finally learn how to drive. It isn't easy knowing where to begin to learn when you are in your 30s, but this school made it easy. I legit went from not knowing how to drive, to passing my road test on the first try. Pedro was who I chose for most of my lessons. He is very sweet, knowledgable, down to earth, (plus nerdy which is good since I'm a nerd myself) and made me feel comfortable with learning how to drive. I recommend this school for anyone, young and old, as their first step to learning how to drive. Thanks Northwest!!

Fantastic experience: I had Margaret and Roy as my instructors and let me tell you, they were AMAZING!!! They gave me tips and guidance to ace my drivers test, and which I did! Both of them are fun and friendly to be around, plus I never felt uncomfortable or anxious when I was behind the wheel. Fantastic experience: Great experience all around. The office staff responded quickly to my calls and e-mails when booking. Frankie was our instructor for the 15/10 course. My son thought that Frankie explained things clearly and thoroughly. He passed his test on the first try and felt that it was due to how much he had learned from Frankie.

Fantastic experience: I took the 10 hour driving classes with Margaret, she was super patient and funny. I would recommend Margaret to anyone looking for a driving instructor. I took those classes in August-September, and I took my Driving test on November 3rd (since that’s the earliest I could get an appointment) and PASSED. Thanks to all her help. Fantastic experience: Margaret was amazing! I appreciated her feedback immensely, and would highly recommend her as a driving instructor to anyone looking for a firm, but friendly teacher for their teen or for themselves. She knew Vegas and Henderson like the back of her hand and advised me, a nervous driver, through some awful morning traffic. I feel like I’m a more confident driver after having her as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: Northwest Driving School can add another success story under their belt!! Just took my road test and passed! I booked the 10-hour lessons package and I was down to the wire with my road test only being a couple of weeks away. We made it happen and now I can finally say I’m a licensed driver. Thank you to Ariel, Roy and Frankie for keeping me focused and believing in me. I recommend this school to anyone who is trying to walk away being a responsible driver with a license.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend their 15/6 program. I learned a lot from the 15 hours of classroom training, and the 6 hours of behind the wheel training gave me a chance to practice everything I had learned in the classroom. I had Vickie as my instructor for the behind the wheel portion, and she was great! She was super nice, patient, and informative. After completing the program, I passed my drive test at the DMV on my first try!

Fantastic experience: When it came time for my daughter to learn to drive, I realized that I wouldn't be the right person to teach her. I was referred to Northwest Driving School by a friend. The first couple of times she drove she was nervous. But after 1 day with Steve Catron she was a totally different person behind the wheel. He does a great job teaching and preparing her for her driving test in a few months. So glad I chose this school help her feel confident and comfortable behind the wheel!!

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Vicki Williams, and she was the best instructor I ever had. She was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Thanks to her, I was able to pass my driving test on the first try! She makes sure at the end of your lessons that you leave feeling confident. I would highly recommend Mrs. Williams to anyone who does not have any driving experience.

Negative experience: That older guy picked up my son for driving was rude and demeaning him for not passing the DMV test. That it . Never again.

Fantastic experience: I am from a very small town in Philippines who never thought to own a car or even drive. Seeing all these fast cars, wide street and the crazy drivers in this city made me feel afraid of being out there driving. I CAN NEVER DO IT (thats what stuck on my head for my 8yrs in Vegas). But driving is necessary specially if you are a mother. Ms Margaret Estrada taught me everything not just to pass the test but to be a good & defensive driver. I was so nervous at first but she will make you comfortable, she is nice and I love chatting with her during our session. I am so proud that I can drive now! Thank you for this driving school I can now take my son to school and to wherever he wants to go! My life has been better

Fantastic experience: Ms. Margaret Estrada has the patience of a saint!!! she is respectful, calm, funny and about business. She is the best time Keeper and her communication skills are top notch. Being an immigrant with language burrier and zero experience behind the wheel, I was afraid , nervous , anxious at the thought of driving, I tried several schools and instructors and it made me lose hope for driving. But when I choose Northwest Driving School I went through the reviews and I choose Ms. Margaret as my driving instructor based on the reviews and sure enough I made the best Choice. Today 02/09/2022 I passed my test. I recommend Ms. Margaret she is the best instructor. She helped me get my confidence behind the wheel and most importantly she believed in me. I recommend Ms. Margaret to anyone looking for a driving instructor that will help you accomplish your driving skills. I feel so confident now and I passed my driving test with flying colors.

Negative experience: My son did learn to drive so at least they fulfilled that part of their obligation. But, the instructor left my son at the DMV after he passed his test, without a phone. The DMV allowed him to use their phone to call me to come pick him up but IMO that was really poor communication that they were not going to return him home after his test. What an awful thing to do after you just spent almost $800.00.

Positive experience: I've only done a couple lessons but Ms. Margaret has helped me so much. She's very patient with me and taught me new techniques. I'm very grateful! I was scared out of my mind to get into the car for the first time but she made me laugh and relaxed. Thank you Ms. Margaret!

Fantastic experience: My time with Vicki was amazing. She was extremely patient with me and made sure to tell me everything properly, and would not hesitate to answer any of my questions. I felt very confident with driving after taking lessons with her. At the time of my test, Amber drove me to the dmv and went over everything I needed to know. She also calmed me down a lot with her positive demeanor and encouragement. I passed with flying colors! I couldn't be more thankful.

Negative experience: I had not even started my first class and I had just mentioned to my instructor that I was a bit sleep deprived and they had said that they could reschedule my class to 6 days in advance and had also given me a time. I had texted them saying that I would be waiting for them and they tell me that the class could not be rescheduled due to last minute changes and it was cancelled. I was in utter shock as it was not even like I had asked them to reschedule it voluntarily. It has been 6 days and nobody even let me know that this would happen and I was just looking forward to my class. This has caused me a lot of inconvenience and I am utterly disappointed with the service and communication.

Fantastic experience: If you need to pass your drivers test, THIS IS THE SCHOOL! As a student driver, I took 18 hours of behind-the-wheel lessons with a different driving school, and was left feeling clueless. With a SINGLE two hour session with an instructor at Northwest, I was able to feel secure in my driving and understand techniques that both kept me safe and helped me practice defensive driving easily. I can not express how grateful I am to have found them.

Fantastic experience: Where do I even begin?! Amber is AMAZING. Best instructor I’ve ever had. If you want to enjoy your learning experience i recommend her! She is so kind and easy to talk to. She was able to teach me while also making me feel comfortable and confident about myself. While talking to her it had felt like she was just a friend teaching me how to drive. I have severe anxiety and while with her i was completely calm and confident. Every other time I’ve driven I would have shaky hands and today I didn’t and I felt so comfortable which is huge! She is so kind and she teaches so well. I would definitely get lessons from amber again. She let me know at the end what to work on and I feel like now I can easily practice and get better and pass my driving test. I left my lesson so excited and happy to talk about it. Fantastic experience: Let me just say this first, when I was younger I was in a horrible car accident - I didn’t drive for 10 years + because I told myself I would never drive again. You can’t really do that here in Vegas. I had to get back behind the wheel, so I looked on google and saw this school and randomly picked out an instructor and signed up. I took my exam today and passed, ON MY FIRST TRY. James was a great instructor all the tips and perspective he gave me was invaluable. So thank you to him. I would recommend this school ten times over.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had an amazing experience at Northwest Driving School. The in person class helped make the rules of the road meaningful to her. She no longer felt overwhelmed with all the information and instead was confident enough to clarify rules for me! Her driving instructor, Frankie, did an amazing job of refining her driving skills. When she met with him, she had already driven about 100 hours, but the 6 hours of driving with a professional instructor were invaluable. She fixed up the little things she'd been struggling with and gained a lot of confidence. When we went in to take her driving test, she was almost overly prepared. Even though she was nervous, there was no way she was going to fail. Northwest Driving School goes above and beyond to prepare new drivers for the road. We are definitely sending our next kid to them.

Fantastic experience: Margaret was my daughter's instructor and she did an outstanding job. She worked with her on very important things that I wasn't even aware of. She followed through all the way up to my daughter's drive test when we shared the good news with her (100%!) The company did a great job at preparing for the pandemic closures and reopenings. They equipped the cars with dividers and implemented sanitation and safety protocols to help keep my kid safe. That was much appreciated!

Fantastic experience: Our son completed the driver’s ed program with NDS, and it was an excellent, comprehensive course. The staff is very friendly and professional, and our son can’t say enough good things about his instructor, Frankie. Although the material was what one expects from a driver’s ed class, Frankie was tremendously engaging, interesting, positive, energetic, and an excellent instructor. My son said he really liked him and did the behind-the-wheel portion with him as well. The class covered all the material thoroughly, and they are given the written test at the end of the course. We did the 15/6 program; the price was very reasonable and definitely worth it. I would highly recommend this school to all teens; it is so much better than learning the material online. A real teacher in a real classroom is the best way for teens to learn the material thoroughly. Great customer service as well. * We attended this school in February; due to the shutdown, our son just took and passed his driver’s license test yesterday with flying colors. We highly recommend this driving school!

Fantastic experience: It was my first time taking driving lessons, my instructor Margaret Estrada was great and made driving very simple. He answered all of my questions, gave many useful tips, and made sure I got the most out of my driving lesson. I would definitely recommend this school.

Negative experience: Everything about my experience with Northwest Driving School was a little bit off. I did one lesson with them and it felt a little bit like a scam. Afterwards I went to Nevada Drive Academy and it was SO much better. My weird experience started when I booked a 7am lesson but the instructor arrived at 6:30am. Texting me twice and knocking on my door. As I was expecting the lesson at 7am I wasn't even awake. During the lesson everything was fine, the instructor was nice but mostly chatted about other things, not my driving. I didn't really feel I was getting value for money. When we practiced parallel parking during the lesson, I was only taught how to line up with specific objects in the DMV parking lot. This is fine for passing the test but absolutely useless for parking anywhere else. With all the chatting the instructor had been doing during my lesson I was shocked at the end of the lesson when she said that, with the multiple things I was doing wrong, I would need at least 3 more lessons before taking my test. Some of these areas for improvement hadn't even been brought up during the lesson! I left the car feeling like she was using these final moments to make me book into more lessons than needed in order to earn herself more money. (Probably true as after doing only 1 lesson at another school I passed my test without any problems) Finally, when I checked the time after my lesson I realised that it was only 8:30am. The lesson didn't even run for 2 hours! Even though the experience had been a bit subpar, I did try to call them up to book to take the driving test with one of their vehicles. I called and left voice mails over a 2 month period. I never received a call back.

Fantastic experience: If you get the chance to ask for an instructor ask for James Staley. A wonderful instructor that is guaranteed to improve your driving ten fold!

It was such a pleasure having him as my instructor and I highly recommend him to those looking for one. Oh..and he also has great taste in music.

Fantastic experience: Before I took my driving lessons, I had driven a total of three hours beforehand. Those hours consisted of me driving around parking lots and in my neighborhood. I was too scared to go out onto the main streets, but Jim, my driving instructor, definitely helped me overcome that fear. Jim was a great person to be around, and had all of the patience in the world.
