Fantastic experience: Moved to Virginia last year. My son had just turned 16 but wasn't eligible for his permit in our home state. So he was super excited to get his permit. Found HRDS on line and chose them due to their reviews. I made the correct choice. My son enjoyed the classroom portion. He passed his permit test easily. The office staff are very responsive and helpful with all of my questions and concerns. My son's on the road instructor was Mrs. Eakes. He had nothing but positive things to say. He was nervous to drive on 64 and 264 and now he's feeling confident to get out there and drive! That is priceless to this mom. Thank you HRDS and Mrs. Eakes. You made this single mom's life easier.

Fantastic experience: I did my driving and observing with Mrs. Eakes. She really demonstrated her experience with new drivers and constantly gave great advice and reminders to both me and my driving partner.

Fantastic experience: It was great! On time and very helpful on practice days and good at monitoring you driving. If you mess up on a turn, park crooked, or even not check mirrors correctly, they are always there to help with what needs improvement or to give tips on procedures. Totally recommend this driving school!

Fantastic experience: Just finished behind the wheel with Mrs.Eakes and I was lucky to have her as an instructor. I was a very nervous driver a made ample mistakes but she was very patient and generous with me and it helped calm my nerves significantly. She very calmly pointed out any errors I made and I got so much better as a driver in such a short amount a time. I'm very grateful for her instruction as it will allow me to be independent in my future and make me a safer driver for others on the road.

Fantastic experience: This school was recommended in my neighborhood app so I called and spoke to Christy. Christy was very thorough and explained everything to me. She answered my questions and made me feel I made the right choice. When the driving instructor came to pick my son up she was very pleasant and I felt he was in good hands. Mrs Eakes did a wonderful job. They drove for 7 days and I think he finished as a better driver. I would recommend Mrs. Eakes and this school to anyone else with young drivers.

Fantastic experience: Since I failed the written exam in the driving license exam 3 times, I took an 8-hour course from this driving school and I was very satisfied and I was able to pass the exam immediately in the first attempt after the course and they served us unlimited tea and food throughout the course. I think they deserve the money I paid very well.

She is so encouraging and positive and makes the whole driving experience amazing. She also gives you tips when you could be doing something better. The office staff was very helpful answering all my questions, returning my calls right away, and keeping me informed every step while scheduling my daughter's behind the wheel. Also, with some scheduling issues, I needed to make some changes and the office staff has been so accommodating, making my requests seem simple. Definitely took the pressures off me. Fantastic experience: There are so many wonderful things to say! I voluntarily took the driver improvement course. I was expecting a mundane day but received the exact opposite. The teacher was so kind, genuine, informative and helpful. You can tell he loves what he does. He had videos for us to watch and kept us all actively participating. He also provided donuts, bananas, coffee and water; The bathroom was very clean and had soap, paper towels, and lotion. I was the most impressed with the teacher! He was funny and professional and all around seemed like a really good guy. It was a a great day! I would highly recommend. ‍♀️

Fantastic experience: I had such a great time in Behind the Wheel, with my instructor Mrs. G! Everything I learned was clear, simple, effective, and enjoyable. I really appreciated how easy it was to communicate with and understand directions from Mrs. G, and especially improved with my confidence and skill in parking! It was the perfect atmosphere for me to focus on driving, and not feel super nervous about who I would driving with. She taught us a lot of tips for how to be safe and learn to navigate driving in real life situations day to day, and of course the technical side of driving too. I’m really glad that I was assigned in the group/with the instructor that I was, it made a big difference!
