Fantastic experience: Great experience! Instructors are patient, detailed and very knowledgeable. They go over everything as many times as needed and tailor the training towards your strengths and weaknesses. I was able to pass my test on the first try! Johny and Jonathan, incredible instructors, and the whole staff was always helpful and accommodating!

Fantastic experience: I first contacted GSF on November 5th about upgrading my class B to a class A with manual transmission. I work full time, so they worked around my schedule. I just tested today, December 19th and passed on the 1st try! The instructors are very professional and knowledgeable. Information and instruction is easy to digest. I went to the DMV feeling confident but not cocky. Thank you GSF!

Fantastic experience: First off I want to thank the Most High and GSF for helping me obtain my license. I will admit some days was rocky for me and I was unsure if I could continue with training. The instructors and staff at GSF are the best. I loved the one to one training and that they go through everything with you until you have it down 1000%. Carlos and everyone is so good at what they do they are there to really help you and it shows they really have patience and they will definitely let you know what you need to improve and how to improve they was always respectful and even had some jokes which made me feel comfortable opening up. I had good training with all the trainers. I did hit a few tree branches learning to drive but they never got mad at me. Definitely would recommend GSF. I can say if you stay committed,focus, study and listen in and outside of school you will definitely pass and don't be scared to talk to the instructors they got you. GSF do not know how me obtaining my license is about to change my life and my kids life. Im so happy I have a career now coming from Being a certified nurse assistant for 14 years to doing low paying security jobs this was the best option for me. I even lost a hospital job because I refused to give up on school. No more being Micro Managed lol. Its been a long journey for me. Best advice is Don't give up and go to GSF for trucking school. look momma I made it!!!!

Fantastic experience: One month ago, I've never driven a truck. On my second day at GSF, I was already behind the wheel learning the basic skills to drive a commercial truck. These guys were so helpful and the curriculum broke everything down step by step making it easy to equip yourself with everything you need in order to get your license by the time you finish the course. Fantastic experience: GSF was the perfect trucking school for me. Everything was 10/10. Enrollment was very simple, in-person classes were very educational, and the instructors were easy going and did a great job in preparing me for the DMV test. I managed to receive my CDL within two months of enrolling (I had my permit before enrolling, and there was a small waiting period to be put into in-person classes). I would highly recommend GSF to anybody who’s interested in pursuing their CDL.

From the office staff to the instructors everyone was extremely helpful and dedicated to making sure I obtained my license which I did . Fantastic experience: I'm an ex graduate from several years ago when it was at 2900 E Lugo street. I love the trainers. There is so much good I can say about them. I passed everything on the very first try at the dmv on Torrance...I came all the way from Ohio to train at GSF. I stayed at the Travel Lodge motel during my whole week of training. I HIGHLY recommend everyone to go to GSF to get your cdl. Back when I went to GSF several years ago, some of the trainers didn't speak much English. I am a black man. The language barrier between some of the trainers DIDN'T get in the way of them showing me how to operate a truck. I LOVE those guys. To this day I truly miss them. If I had to do it all over again I would! GSF IS AT THE TOP OF THE BEST TRUCKING SCHOOLS FOR THE MONEY! EVERYONE PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! AND I MISS FRANK AND EDNA IN THE OFFICE! THIS COMPANY HAS VERY HIGH RATINGS. AND THE MAJORITY OF THE STUDENTS LOVE GSF LIKE I LOVE ❤️ GSF!

Fantastic experience: This is one of the best school and it's guaranteed you'll pass! The instructors are very helpful especially Elias, so if you get Elias you're lucky! Elias techniques are really easy to remember, he gave me the 123 Mississippi and that stuck with me to pass my skills, Franky is really good on walk arounds he will tell every part of the trailer and you'll remember it, the people in the office are very nice and up-to-date and they are fast responders, GSF school is what I recommend for you guys to come and practice, they have patience, and will teach you really good

Fantastic experience: I really like to thank the GSF TRUCK SCHOOL, there administration was always helpful and thoughtful, especially Byron and the twin sisters. The doctor they use was very helpful with my physical, and then when it came to me actually training in the truck, my first instructor was Frank, and I annoyed him so bad trying to operate a 10 speed, but it was an awaking for me, to train with an Automatic, and thats when I met Johnny. What a nice young man he was, him riding with me, he instructed me how to drive and we could elaborate on life. Then I met Elisa, hope I'm spelling his name right, well he taught me to follow the steps in driving the truck forward, backwards, and off set maneuvers, He also would not let me go off into my own on how to study my preset or my driving. He was very polite in his presentations and it was a joy coming to class knowing that if I follow his formula on my own presentation for my test, I would surely pass the exam, and I did. Thank you GSF trucking school, I knew that Jesus Christ is blessings these young men and woman, and would surely recommend this school to others.

Fantastic experience: What can be said about GSF? Well honestly it was the best experience I had as a student! All the instructors are amazing and well knowledgeable on the craft of driving! I won’t say any by name because I don’t what the other to get jealous. Haha, but no matter who is training you just know you’ll get all the knowledge you need to pass and receive your CDL A. let’s not for get about the office as well. When I had questions while at home. I would text it in. They would send it to an instructor, then they would get back to me with my answer. So while studying at home I always had help. Also the friendly text the day before your schedule glass as a reminder are always great! Thank y’all again for everything!!!

Fantastic experience: To start off I will like to thank Kass and Jocelyn from the office they were always on dot. Looking at the bad reviews I can see where people get confused I’ll start with the few possible issues #1 during orientation they mention you will start each class with a pre trip inspection of 20 minutes (not always the case ) #2 there is one instructor that lacks maturity and if he is having a bad day over something unrelated to class he will reflect that also might lack interest in teaching/ correcting. Moving on to the plus side I noticed the rest of the instructors are good and professional . I noticed they have a passion on what they do Frank , Sergio , and basically everyone else ! Note : pre trip is mainly on your part to study ! Gsf will provide you with a video and print out both show what you need to pass and more ! Take advantage of the free time to walk in the yard and inspect the trucks. Write your concerns and approach the instructors with straight forward questions and they will answer clearly .

Negative experience: This place had an employee that no longer works there who's name was Miguel. This man stole $3000 from me and my family. They did me so dirty during covid. I paid that money CASH in hopes of giving my wife and kids a better future. They gave me the run around with dates I could go in to train till my year contract ran out. I was made broken promises. I even spoke to a very rude female manager who did absolutely nothing but put me down and tells me that I will not receive any continued training or will not receive a refund. Horrible. How this place could ignore my plea and steal my money. I wish I never stepped foot into that building.

Fantastic experience: I'm currently going to this school. And like anywhere you have your good and bad. For all of you that gave bad reviews why don't you go to swift trucking school then you can see the worst teaching in the truck driving world. I would give swift a minus 100 stars and Gsf + 500 stars But if you have issues and talk to the staff they will work with you and help you. The office staff are awesome and great people. Kass and Jocelyn 2 of the office workers are the best I have ever met and Alonzo the manager at the school is great. If your having a problem and they are not doing anything about it it's your fault for not telling them.

Fantastic experience: Great school. After procrastination upon myself I was finally able to obtain my class A license with the amazing help of the instructors. Great teaching methods to pass your skills and on the road test. Pre trip and air brakes primarily should be your own study time but the instructors have no problem answering questions or breaking down the truck from the front to back if needed but in the end you'd want to use the behind the wheel time. Overall my experience was an A+. Shout out Elias for the great one on one as he was more of my main instructor throughout the course and recognition to Juan and Greg for the help as well.

Negative experience: Waste of money instructors aren’t capable to show you how to drive to save their life. Choose this place cause I seen a lot of good reviews . Glad to say I have acquired the Cdl else where . ( goes to show you how organized this place is they can’t even find my contract ? Never the less it’s a review from a un satisfied customer !)

Negative experience: Was a bit disappointed since there's amazing reviews. I went for a consultation with a female in which i literally answered my own questions. She was very blunt and didn't get much information. I was there was no more than 8 mins i could have just called. The consultation states it's 40 mins long but definitely took me longer to find parking than to talk to her. Definitely finding a different school!!

Negative experience: Very un organized they did not make my appointments I had to wait 6 months for classes. Then they sent me to ventura dmv and Grenada hills for my last 3 clases only was able to do 40 min of behind the road time was not used to the trucks failed my road test. Now I have to pay more money to get another class. Terrible experience.owners reach out instead of helping there student they argue with them they sell you on the service then fail to provide it. All wanted was a good school to help me pass my test to have a better career. I end up.being tossed aside since they have there money. Also I passed my inspectio .please everyone do your reasherch make sure they can fit you in and if the emlyees tell you something about scheduling double or triple check they will forget about you

Fantastic experience: I passed my test on 11/24/21 and I have to say this is a great school they literally give you everything you need and focus on what you need to pass your test and provide you with the skills needed to pass. I went in not knowing how to drive stick shift and they were more than happy to teach me. I am happy to say thanks to GSF truck driving school they have given me the opportunity to be a class A license driver. The staff and instructors are caring and very friendly they provide you with any help you may need and answer any questions you might have and are on top of things and your classes. Negative experience: Not the best school, mostly learning on you're own, focuses on getting you your license but I wish they would focus a little more on the course work as well. All the driving was one on one, but the course work was all done independently.

Negative experience: this place is a scam i went to better my self on a grant from the state in which they the state paid for it for 5 grand 4800 to be exact and gsf only gave me 30 hours behind the wheel being new and not knowing that isnt enough for a new student what they soldme/the state that course is a refresher course to those that have had their class A PRIOR to taking this class so the chances of passing are slim to none i did my Diligence to pass the written passed all of tests none missed all in the first try and studied but where i failed is the behind the wheel 3x and after that the school trys to sell you 10hours more and 1 more try to the dmv...gsf is taking advantage of the states money and the poor who are trying to better them selves mind you the only way to qualify is to be low income the school is in the heart of the ghetto south central los angeles california...the dmv recommends atleast 80 hours behind the wheel...each time i went to test with 3 others for the behind the wheel everybody failed in a day so total 12 fails

Fantastic experience: I had great experience with GSF Truck & Bus Driving School. I strongly recommend for class A license. Great flexible schedule classes, Attentive staff that helped me get my license quick. One on One classes with the instructor are the most helpful and the free Inspection class on Saturdays are very useful.

Fantastic experience: Gsf is amazing. I came to this school because I had issues with another school I was not learning anything at all. Tania in the office did everything in her power to make everything accommodating, I even changed up my schedule on her and she fixed it on the fly. Also Alfonso my instructor was awesome he made sure I knew my pretrip the right way and told me everytime I was making a mistake. Overall the school really wants you to pass and they do everything to make that possible and it's great. Thank you gsf because of you guys I have my class A :). Highly recommend this school.
