I was going 20 in the school zone and she said I was going 22… complete bullshit!! Very rude and unprofessional!!

Negative experience: I normally never leave reviews, but this place is a total scam. Do not waste your time and money here. The staff is unprofessional and they will fail you just to get more money out of you. The first time i went here the lady said the max speed i could drive in a school zone was 25mph. The second time I was failed again for going 23 right before the school zone ended. When i asked why I failed she said it was because I went over 20mph before the school zone ended. Then i mentioned i was told previously as long as i didn’t go over 25 I would pass. She didn’t care. They just pick and choose who passes and who doesn’t. I got fed up and went to American Driving Academy and they were so much better, I passed my first try.

Negative experience: They are 1 million percent a scam they won’t let you pass the first time unless you get the classes it seems like. Also they take your through only school zones and that’s fine but they fault you for driving at speed limit and they have a track record of not taking any blame on their reviews so I really wouldn’t recommend them unless you take the classes but either way they don’t deserve the money they are super shady everyone I know has had the same experience with them. Don’t go here. Edit: as you see they responded again taking zero blame I was watching my speed very carefully so I know I wasn’t speeding it was the incompetent tester which failed me on purpose and tried telling me I took my turns too fast at 10 mph it took everything I had to not tell him how stupid he sounded also the lady that took me in was mad lazy and taking her time to do everything. And I’m guessing the owner must be one of them giving out the test. Or something, they obviously don’t want to pass you they are there for the money.

Here the lady in the front desk was super rude and seemed like she didn’t even wanna be there. These people will rip you off do not go there. They’re hypocrites too. They pick and choose who they pass. My friend went here and went over the speed limit and they passed him anyway. Don’t believe their replies to comments they just want your money. They also only take cash. Weird.

Fantastic experience: Ester was an amazing instructor! She was really nice, professional, and clear. Due to personal reasons this would’ve been my 3rd time doing my drivers test at KG, and this recent time was just flawless. Yes it was a little busy, but they moved through the test takers quickly. I have no complaints, please be nice to staff as they are human as well. Overall I’m extremely satisfied with the operations of the business as well as the well organized driving tests. Pricing is definitely fair, I just wish it didn’t have to be cash, I’m sure it’s for good measures though. Thank you again Ester!

Negative experience: Completely unprofessional. I can’t believe I didn’t look at the reviews because I’m seeing the exact same problems I had and it was unreal. Paid $90 cash for a scam but I guess if you’re broke enough to scam for $90 ‍♂️ The dude showed up 30 minutes late to work and had myself and other customers waiting so you could already tell this brotha had no regard. Trust me people the reviews are facts THEY WILL FAIL YOU TO PAY TWICE!!! Of course people will make mistakes driving but we have been to a professional drive safe before you don’t get failed for driving 1 mph over the speed limit to be so by the book and scam like that was unbelievable but I would recommend a drive safe or any other place third place is ran by scammers! I got my license the next day and passed with flying colors don’t trust these people it’s a sad world sometimes and these the type of people you got to watch out for. I’m not the only brotha that experience this from what I’m reading and I can’t believe again I didn’t read the reviews because that was grimey. Don’t give your money to these losers they take cash only and then fail you so you pay again and have to pay another $80 in cash only place that does that, everywhere else takes credit card. 0/10 have already turned away a few people in Montbello who wanted to go there and thank god they listened because this is ran by people who are trying to make a living by scamming and have no real hustle. Just outright weak and losers. Don’t go.

Negative experience: The older gentleman was cool. Some guy walked in when I went in the next day to take my driving test and showed up 30 minutes late. Then lied straight to my face and told me I went over the speed zone when I saw the speed limit and was under. I am 25 years old and have been driving for 9 years I couldn’t believe the scam he was pulling. I just needed to retake my test because I ordered a state ID in NY and it cancelled my license. I drive safe and the speed limit no problems and was very cautious. Completely unprofessional and is a scam they take cash only and the dude was lying the whole time. Don’t go.

Fantastic experience: I had such a pleasant experience with KG International Driving School! I took my first road test with another school. It was very unprofessional and I didn’t pass the test with them. I enrolled with KG for 2 hours, had a 1 hour refresher before the road test and I passed! Mr. Willie is such a kind person and he helped me regain my confidence in driving after failing my first road test. Ms. Esther administered my test and she was very nice and kind that it made the test comfortable for me.

Fantastic experience: These guys were very good. I had to leave for a few months and was unable to get more lessons done, but the moment they were able to come back, Mr. Willie got me in and I passed my test on Wednesday. Finally getting my license. These guys are good, sometimes it can be frustrating, but they know what they are doing and how to teach. Just takes patience. Considering I was part of Drive Safe where they didn't really let me do much, I'm glad to see that I was able to learn and do more. Thank you for everything.

Negative experience: Waited for an hour for a driving test only for then to tell us they don't have time today. Do not recommend

Negative experience: I was told that I had to stop for 3 seconds at stop signs. The instructor took me through a construction zone where cones made a single lane that then switched into the oncoming traffic lane then back ( a 4 lane road down to two lanes that occupied the opposite side of the road) I followed the cones then and drove the posted speed limit and was told that I had to use my blinkers when switching lanes (when the cones forced the single lane into the opposite side of the road). I was also told I palmed the steering ( which I always had a hand firmly on the wheel while turning). This instructor was finding any reason to fail me. However, I was driving my own electric car equipped with cameras and when I asked for a copy of the report so I can compare it with my cameras she said I barely passed. Even though she doesn't believe I should. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth so I felt like I needed to post it. Writing this review to encourage others who have issues with this location to report them. I believe they intentionally try to fail everyone so they get more service.

Negative experience: MONEY GRABBERS. Do NOT come here, they’ll fail you the first time on purpose. I went to a different driving school and passed the first time, I followed the same procedure as I did before and was told that I’ve done everything correctly. At KG international school they also do not check to see if your vehicle operates properly, checking to see if break lights, left and right signals work, they just make you drive immediately. Save your hard earned money.

Negative experience: These people will fail you on purpose so they can charge you one more time for a 2nd driving test, and they will find the stupidest reason for that, and they don't even know the law, they failed me for driving at a school zone with 20 miles per hour, she told me you should go at 10 miles, not 20. Also, they were so rude and unprofessional, the manager told me that I could fail up to 7 times then I'll get it at 8th time ( just for them to get more money). I don't recommend this place worst experience ever

Negative experience: It’s the second time my daughter try’s this school and the keep failing her. They keep having her come back just for the money . They never explain what she’s doing wrong it’s supposed to be a school that teaches you and they fail to show you the correct way . Don’t brother with them. It’s a waste of money

Negative experience: Go to a different place. KG failed me twice and rushed the entire thing. Passed first try at a different place. Tester at other place sat down with me after the test and explained how things are scored and gave me advice on driving skills I need to work on. Even informed me that they get A LOT of drivers from KG who thought they were just bad drivers. Really KG is clearly biased and awful. I wasted so much time and money trying to get my test done through them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. They just treat you like a cash cow, rush everything and don't even give you good feedback.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are really nice people, they go above and beyond helping people. Very clean and neat office. I honestly have no complaints or negative feedback about this office location. I was comfortable and the process was easy.

Negative experience: I don't understand how they have a 4.4 rating when they should be a 1 star! All they care about is the money and will fail you the 1st time so you can pay again. The first time we went the guy said I couldn't ride along but yet allowed a female to have her friend ride along. They failed my son twice and realized they scam people. Unless you are a female, black or take their course they WILL FAIL YOU!!! Not only do they take your money and fail you they are always late to work. They have a older man checking people in and the actual testers arrive around 10-10:30....lazy p.o.s. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Negative experience: PLEASE don’t come in to this place! They made my brother take his written test 5 times and he finally passed, but the DMV didn’t give him his permit because he could only failed 2 times! And this disgusting place made him take it 3 more times and keep charging him knowing that the DMV wouldn’t accept it. STAY AWAY from this place!!!! And they only accept cash to be able to scam people! They failed my husband TWICE when he took his driving test based on little mistakes to be able to keep taking his money ! Stay away!!!! This place should be shut down. UPDATE: I want to add that this place is trying to blame the DMV when my brother clearly told them he had already taken the test twice at the DMV. So clearly KG knew, but still decided to take our money. Regarding my husband, they failed for 1 little mistake. And then offered to give him $10 if he re took his driving test. So yeah you guys should read state guidelines and shut down. Scam! Scam! Scam!

Fantastic experience: I took six hours lesson with them. My driving instructor was really good, he was calm, patient and always reassured me. The instructor who I took my test with was very professional as well. I past my driving test on the first try.

Negative experience: Be aware, this place doesn't make appointments, they operate on "first come first serve" basis. We arrived at 9am, we were the first ones in line, office didn't open until 9:15am, my daughter wasn't taken out until 10:30am for her driving test. Instructors didn't arrive until 10am. Two other students that arrived after we did, were taken out for driving classes before my daughter even though this place doesn't make appointments or reservations (kind of strange). If your kid doesn't pass test they offer $10 off on their next driving test.

Negative experience: 2 star because i mean there the only ones who take walk ins. They will pass you after you pay 3 or 2 times though to get money off you

They want you to pass perfectly, they will mark you for the same thing twice, say you did good and drove safely but will still fail you and then tell you to come back again and will reduce $10! Negative experience: Beware this establishment if you value your money and property. My wife decided to employ KG out of the convenience that they are near the DMV she had been at earlier that day. My wife stated her “instructor” Anton seemed to of wanted to rush through the test rather than conduct a legitimate test. At the end of the test, my wife was completing a left hand turn 1/2 a block from the KG parking lot and was struck from behind by a distracted driver in her lane. The distracted driver decided to illegally flee the accident. Then instructor Anton proclaimed to my wife that the accident was not her fault and that he needed to get back to the office. Without waiting for the authorities to arrive at the scene and to give a statement Anton also left the scene of the accident and walked back to KG International. To make matters worse for my wife, Anton stated that if she came back the next day she could retake the test at a discounted price. Needless to say we decided against taking Anton up on his offer.

Fantastic experience: I came to this school to do my Driver's Test after two previous attempts at a different driving school. Decided to come to this school to do my driver's test and I managed to pass! My tester was calm and patient and the people there were super friendly, I definitely would recommend this place to anyone!

Negative experience: Customer service they are more than friendly. I would say they are very nice, but when it comes to the driving test they have unrealistic expectations. I took my test two times in this place. They overly corrected me and inaccurately marked me wrong in some places where I did nothing wrong. but I was not going to argue. The second time I took it I was 100 percent sure I did nothing wrong yet they still marked me wrong in the same spot. Even though They complimented me on how well and safe I drove they still failed me. It was the third time I decided to go elsewhere right away I passed no questions asked because I know I was driving correctly and safely so please don’t take your driving test here. they just want your money and it’s clearly shown because they don’t have a lot of customers when you walk in. Also, their time is wrong they don't open at 9 sometimes 9:30 am sometimes 10 am very professional.

Fantastic experience: Very professional service, I paid for the pick up classes and I never had problems with the schedule or the coordination. Esther was my instructor and she was very nice, friendly and patiente.

Negative experience: Do NOT take your driving test here. Regardless of how good a first time driver you are, they will find a reason to fail you. They have ridiculously high prices and make people take the driving test multiple times. We met multiple people in the waiting area there to take the test for the 2nd or 3rd time! They give vague feedback. The instructor was on their phone while in the car conducting the test.

Negative experience: Scam artists will fail you for not looking at your rear view mirror when they didn't look at your eyes the entire drive and say incomplete stops when you literally stopped fully for everything but green lights. This is why they only take cash

Negative experience: DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY Failed twice, was given contradicted feedback both of the times that I failed the test (1 tester said to do this to improve and the other said to do otherwise). Their website states walk-in’s ONLY when I called to confirm staff said walk in before 4:30 to test, and then you show up and they have you schedule appointments because it has changed and web has not been updated! Upon arrival you check in and you make your payment, you have sit down and wait for an extra 15 to 20 minutes before they take you to the actual driving test! Per my experience during the driving test my tester was on her phone not just the first time but the second time. Please do not waste your money or your time with this business and look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: KGI Driving school was a wonderful place to learn how to drive! All three of my lessons were with Mr. Willy and he was very professional, supportive, and skilled in easing anxiety around driving. I can't recommend them highly enough! After 6 hours I was totally comfortable navigating highways, downtown streets, and more.

Negative experience: DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. When you call, it says Walk-ins available, on the website it says, Walk-ins available. Tell me why when I go in there it’s appointment only. There’s no information ANYWHERE about this. Fine. I make an appointment for the next day for 9:00am suggested by an employee. I show up at 8:50am on a Tuesday. No one shows up until 10:00am. I start my drivers test exactly at 10:12am. I missed some personal appointments for other things because of this delay. But of course I could not complain to my instructor about them being late or there could be a biased scores for any chance.

Negative experience: If you want to get cussed out for not agreeing with their decision then this will be the place to go. NOT OK. Instructor(if he is a true instructor. The state will be the one to figure this out) Will threatened to shoot you and pull a gun on you. YOU BETTER TALK TO YOUR SON ABOUT THESE ALLEGATIONS that were recorded!!! Not false at all and will be addressed with the state of Colorado. LOOOKS LIKE YOU STILL SCAMMING PEOPLE. JUST A VERY SAD COMPANY.

Negative experience: What a joke! Only out to make money! The guy flunked me, I have been driving before his daddy was born! Ex class A driver, no way he could accurately see my speedometer, and he said i was speeding! I was NOT! I will report this place to the state! SCAM !!

Negative experience: Took my daughter to do her driving test and was told my daughter was going 22 in a 20 school zone and that was a major violation or something like that and failed her, I took her somewhere else and my daughter passed with flying colors and asked the instructor about the 22 in a school zone and was told that was wrong that it is over 23 to be a major violation! After seeing other reviews I noticed they had told me the same thing alot of the reviews are saying. Go somewhere else looks like they just want money and also strange they only take cash. NO my daughter did not pass because of your instructor's she passed because it was a real test and not just driving through 4 school zones to try and find a reason to fail her! Nice try
