Fantastic experience: The entire staff was amazing. The price was much more competitive than all the other driving schools in the area. I missed my first written test appointment and they rescheduled me at no cost. If you receive 90% or above on the written, after the gentleman grades your test he asks you out of the classroom and gives you a keychain. I recommend d their services 100%!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely astounding service from the front desk to the instructor. Occasionally I tend to confuse easily but with their direct instructions the only mistakes were my own. Id recommend taking the driving test here if you need better instructions

I also had a great experience taking both the written test as well as skills test. Fantastic experience: Initially, I had only scheduled a road test with them. However, after noticing that they offered classes for experienced international drivers, I decided to enroll in those as well. Though I had been driving in the US under my husband's guidance and wasn't concerned about driving itself, Mr. Brook and Mr. Herman were instrumental in addressing the nuances of driving and the rules I needed to remember. They helped me perfect parallel parking and backing around curves, and prepared me thoroughly for the road test. They encouraged me to drive more in various settings, including heavy traffic and residential areas, which significantly boosted my confidence. Positive experience: I definitely would recommend this driving school, and not just because I passed my driving test on the first try. I took lessons with Laura and Berhanu, and found both of them fantastic for different reasons. Laura can be a bit strict and intense at first, but the knowledge that she provides will stick with you and make you a better driver. She’s very sweet and knows her stuff. Berhanu is calm and does a great job to put you at ease. It’s a family owned business, which I feel better supporting. My only complaint is that on a number of times, we wouldn’t start until 15 minutes after the lesson time and would finish early, so my 90 minute lessons could sometimes end up more like 60. I would suggest putting more time inbetween lessons to be able to get through administrative stuff.

Fantastic experience: I took the adult driving school classes here and they were excellent! The instructors are very patient, and helped me become a confident driver. After completing the driving package, I took my test and passed! Fantastic experience: It was a great experience actually. My boyfriend recommended me this place and didn’t regret it! Testing experience was seamless and the instructor was friendly and really informative too on what I did wrong and could improve. Fantastic experience: Amazing learning experience with Brook ! Highly recommended. I took I have never driven before and I had a great learning experience with Safety First Driving School! Very professional. I also had a few lessons with Kwan and those were also good. The instructors were highly knowledgeable, patient and motivating which are all that a new driver needs and it built my confidence as I went through all their classes. Fantastic experience: I Took both my in-car Lessons and Tests here at Saftey First Driving school. I had an amazing experience at this school and learned how to drive from scratch, the instructors here were very informative and thoughtful. I want to Thank Brook and Meheret so much since they were extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Overall friendly staff and great people. Negative experience: I do not recommend people who haven't taken classes at this driving school to take the exam. This is unrelated to my exam results, but I want to share the details of my first test to help future students be aware! The school does not acquaint you with the vehicle's features, and there isn't even a speedometer on the dashboard! The speed indicator is electronic and in an extremely hard-to-find location. They have you get in the car, adjust the mirrors, and immediately drive off. Furthermore, the exam route goes west, and there is very blinding sunlight in the afternoon during the test. I've met many people in a situation like mine, and they've also shared their experiences on social media. Paying nearly $90 for the exam, only to have the test end within five minutes due to speeding! During my first test, the examiner even mocked me because I was flustered, which deeply hurt me. Unless you've taken driving lessons here, I do not recommend it, and I wouldn't recommend it to my friends who don't have a car either. I have seven years of driving experience, and I plan to take the test elsewhere.
Hello. We are under obligation by state guidelines to follow all procedures during testing. We ask before the test has begun if there are any questions and are not allowed to answer questions once testing has begun. The Washington State Department of Licensing sets the testing rules and policies. When applicants don’t meet Department of Licensing standards, perform dangerous actions, or break the law, we must mark the deductions. Unfortunately, during the test you made some judgments that were not safe and broke the law, therefore according to DOL policy, we were not able to pass you at that time. If you would like to discuss this further, please give our office a call during office hours at 206-779-2596.

Fantastic experience: This school has been incredibly accommodating throughout our process of getting 3 boys through their program including the school, the written test and the skills test. They answer their phone, which isn’t so common these days, and their staff are very helpful! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I had such an amazing experience with safety first driving school! My teacher was amazing and always open to meeting/chatting with me when I had a question. In terms of the driving lessons, they were organized and smooth!! I just had my driving test which was stress free and easy!! Such an amazing school, definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I loved my experience here! From the classroom to the car it was amazing. I had a great time with all me instructors. Their website was really easy to navigate through to schedule drive. And when ever I had a question I would always get an answer from the receptionist.
