Fantastic experience: My instructor Nikki Rhodes taught me to Parallel park, learn cautions and road sign also was able to show me the basic rules of driving! I learned more here than in other driving school! I recommend this school to anyone! It is worth the price

Every time we had to call, ask questions, arrange lessons, change times for drives….we always got timely and informative responses. Mrs. Johnson provides the type of service that all companies should model. You always want your kids to be safe and well educated with something that comes with the responsibility of driving a motor vehicle. This place accomplishes all that and more!!!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about this driving school. All the staff were very professional and patient with my daughter. My daughter previously started her training with another school(Ayala), but I transferred her due to behavior (Ayala instructors flipping off or yelling at student drivers) and scheduling issues. Within one lesson at A+, she was able to perfectly parallel park and had so much more confidence behind the wheel. Mr. Friday is a wiz with teaching parallel parking and Ms Rhodes was outstanding during her lessons. A+Driving Academy truly lives up to the A+ in their name. Highly recommend supporting this veteran-owned business.

Positive experience: I had a great time with my instructor. I didn't have a good time with my driving test examiner and cried for hours afterwards, despite passing. She yelled at me while taking the test, made sarcastic comments at my errors, and was discouraging throughout. This was a remarkable change from how my instructor spoke to me, which was entirely encouraging. I understand having to be abrasive to prepare drivers for future distractions while driving, but I found the rudeness startling and unnecessary, as a grown adult who is fully aware of the dangers of driving. I wouldn't recommend anyone to work with that particular examiner (I believe there's only one), but the rest of the instructors are wonderful!

Negative experience: Before registering, students must agree that their photos may be shared on social media. Without this permission they won’t do enrollment.Unfortunately I am not able to get service because I don’t want to accept it.

Fantastic experience: Nikki is literally the best driver instructor I've ever had. She is very calm and straight forward with what she says. She is very reassuring and always checks if I'm comfortable practicing different drives.(parallel parking, reverse driving, ect.) Nikki always has a positive attitude and postitive feedback. Negative experience: Took their classes. Failed the driving test with them three times. Went with them to learn how to drive.. They fail to teach properly how to drive. Follow up message. When you have to leave a very long reply you know you did something wrong and have to justify it by a lot of words that are hallow.

Fantastic experience: I used to think I was never gonna learn to drive after trying to learn with my family but Mr. Shular is an AMAZING teacher! He was patient and knew that a student coming in was a newbie so mistakes were bound to happen so he led me through those mistakes and taught me well. If you can when making your set days ask for him as a teacher if you can!

Fantastic experience: A+ driving has been top notch to work with throughout this entire process. They went out of their way to provide with the essential paperwork for my daughter to get her permit. We chose the parent taught program. If I had to do it all over again, I would do everything through them. Some of the paperwork was a bit confusing and they helped me through it. They returned my calls in a timely manner and worked with my urgency. I highly recommend A+.

Fantastic experience: A+Driving Academy? How about A++Driving Academy?!?! I don’t know how to put in the words how grateful I am for A+ Driving Academy. My daughter has anxiety issues and was nervous about getting on the road. I know she would need a patient driving academy. We had a very bad experience at Roadworthy with my son and I knew they were definitely not the school for us, they would not be patient enough for someone with anxiety issues. A+ went above and beyond my craziest expectation and wildest dream. They bent over backwards to work with us, not only teaching my child to become a confident driver, but working with her over and over on the basics and teaching her to parallel park like a pro! They are very responsive, by text and email. We worked with multiple instructors and all seemed very professional, caring, and knowledgeable. I feel like I could go on and on, complementing each member of the staff and owners. Let me finish this by saying if you have the opportunity to work with any driving school in the San Antonio area, A+ Driving Academy is definitely the school that you want to work with.

I had to take the road test and I was suuuuper nervous leading up to it…I have driving anxiety, so that definitely contributed to my worries. The process with A+ and Ms. Washington was amazing!!! She was super positive and friendly the entire time we were together. I am so pleased with my choice to take my test with A+ instead of the DPS office. It was a great experience. We took a break and eventually made our way to A+. The experience has been nothing but positive. Helpful with registration, scheduling and paperwork. Best of all they were amazing instructors who helped him find confidence behind the wheel. We now have a driver thanks to the professional staff at A+. We wish we found your sooner!

Fantastic experience: mrs.washington runs a tight ship. she is strict but will help you with anything you need and is always there for you even when you are not there for yourself.

Positive experience: Taught me a lot of new things about vehicles as well as the roads, however they tended to skip a few slides during the slideshow presentations that would have helped greatly with the learning process. As well as the fact that the microphones they had were not of the greatest quality, in which they tended to sort of cut out sound for small moments of time which usually made the listening people have to rely on their own thought to fill in the words that were cut out. Aside from that, it was pretty cool.

Positive experience: Instructors were very helpful and were always willing to stay behind to answer anything. Lessons taught me well and I feel confident about getting my license. :)

Fantastic experience: This is the best place u need to go for ur driving lessons and road test. The instructor Mrs Washington was professional to the core. From the way she spoke to me on the phone down to the way she instructs on the road test was wonderful. We had an appointment for 10am but at 9.15am she was already ready to do driving test for me. That was amazing. At the road test, every instruction she gave was clear and precise. Thank you Mrs Washington for your patience. I highly recommend this place if you want to learn the right way to drive.

Fantastic experience: It went really well, they were extremely patient and professional. They are very very nice, extremely nice. When i went to go do my drives test, they had given me a full refund because the student before me crashed there car. When i ask why they gave me a refund, they simply said that they were not mentally there to do my drive test. So they set me up the next day the earliest they could and even offered me a ride to get there and on top of all that they go in touch with the DMV office and told them that i could do a walk in for my drivers license. I did my drive test and passed and got my license all in the same day. 20/10 would recommend.

I have severe aniexty and depression and the staff here was so patient and reassuring with me that I felt okay the whole time! Mrs. Washington was my instructor and is one of the most pleasant people I have ever met in my life! She guides and teaches you as you're going through the course. The whole experience was nothing but positive from the moment I walked through the door to the minute I left. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! If you have a nervous teen or suffer from aniexty definitely go here. Even if you don't I would still HIGHLY recommend them. It was worth every penny. Fantastic experience: The class has been great. I like the course because I work night shift and during the day i take care of my little ones. With A+ I don’t have to worry about what I need to show my kid for the class. They cover everything they need to know for their exam. Also it is great because they do t have to schedule an appointment for written exam they cover that as well. The Get It Do program is a big life saver. Strongly recommend it for busy parents or even those that have a small patience with teaching their kids.

So much so that I had my 15 year old son learn with them and even when there was a hardship, they worked with me. We need more personable and good businesses like this. I wish them all the best

I did not take a class however I was in my car in the parking lot slumped over my steering wheel (having a moment) when I looked up Mr. Washington was driving up to my car and was about to check on me. I am sure from afar it looked as tho I could have been injured or had a problem being head on the steering wheel and all. I say all this to say he could have drove right past me as so many other people had turning his head and looking away but instead he chose to check and make sure I was ok. If that doesn't speak for the type of people this business is ran by I don't know what else could. I then went in to thank him and his wife Mrs. Washington was there with a warm hug and welcoming smile. I couldn't have felt more accepted and comforted. I would absolutely send anyone I know in there direction because I know that they will be patient, caring, accepting and overall just a good atmosphere to be in and good people to learn from. Plus local small business is important so support them because they do so much for our community above and beyond the teaching at the driving school. If it's not A+ then it's none other esp if you are military or Veteran, a student with a very tight schedule, like anyone at all.
