Fantastic experience: I took my driving test today, I passed my test. Melissa helped me to learn parallel parking, Reversing, and U turn. She has lots of patience and knowledge. She gave all the hints to do parallel park. I tried with different schools and different teachers, I failed couple of times too. I was thinking I'm not going to get my drivers license. Thanks to Melissa and New Jersey driving School they made my day

Negative experience: I recently contacted NJ Driving School regarding my sister’s scheduled two-hour driving session, which was not provided as promised. When I initially called, I was informed that she would be driving for the full two hours, but that did not happen. I raised my concern with a supervisor, who was unprofessional and dismissive. Rather than listening to my complaint, he assumed the situation and responded rudely, stating it was not their fault if I misunderstood. I found this approach unhelpful and unprofessional. I also spoke to another representative, who claimed my sister received the full service, which was not accurate. Unfortunately, the supervisor’s attitude and argumentative nature left me disappointed with the overall service. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this school.

Fantastic experience: We recently used this driving school for our 16 year old and we had a great experience. They communicate through calls and texts which I found convenient. They will return your calls/texts quickly. We were able to get Saturday and Sunday slots. So we were finished in one weekend. They pick up and drop off at your home. My son had two different instructors and they each were equally wonderful according to my son. It was a smooth experience from beginning to end.

Negative experience: Did my 6 hours permit validation here and they scheduled my road test months in advance, paid over 400 in services and week before the test they claim I am not in the system and never requested such services. If your looking to lose money and time this is the right place!

Fantastic experience: We had to rent their car bc ours had no middle hand break (required). Melissa was awesome, met us fast and w time for a few tips on their car. Our (now licensed) driver had passed within 30 of connecting w this company. Relief!

Positive experience: I’ve used this driving school so many times because the price is perfect, and the vehicles are always in working order: Melissa especially is an exceptional instructor, really enjoyed learning how to drive from her. I would recommend anyone to choose her for driving instruction but I haven’t tried anyone else from this school. I’ve had four instructors in the past from different driving schools since I’ve failed the driving exam 3 times before: they were either uncooperative, racist, or really bad at giving explanations. Melissa is cooperative, professional, and her explanations make sense with her help I finally passed my driving test. A few caveats to mention with this driving school: 1. The website doesn’t have an announcement system when the booking/scheduling feature is under maintenance. 2. The website allows users to create two accounts with the same e-mail: one through Google sign-in and the other through their system which doesn’t make sense. 3. There’s a credit card fee whenever you pay for anything on the website: I didn’t know this before because I always paid in cash—you should too if you want to save a few bucks. The first two are just minor issues: the biggest issues I would say are: (1) Scheduling, and (2) Not dropping me off home after I’ve failed the exam. (1) They care about business more than your time: I told the operator over the phone that I wanted an appointment at 10 am: she said she could only do appointments at 10am and after—I was fine with that. However, when it was the day before the lesson, I was informed that the time needed to be changed to 9 am which is not at all what we agreed on. The scheduling staff argued with me about it: I did end up choosing 9 am because this driving school for me was the cheapest option . . . I kind of excused this since it was the first time they did this but this happened again . . . and then it happened during the driving car rental. They have to understand that I’m a paying customer: I choose the time based on the availability. I can’t get up whenever you want me to: they need to be more conscientious of that. I have my reasons for not choosing those times . . . I don’t need to explain to the business or want to explain to them that I have a disability: I woke up with eyes burning, itching, diarrhea, and holding back vomit the days they switched up the time for me to early morning. It’s embarrassing having to put this in the review. (2) I failed my exam on the first car rental, and I was told that I couldn’t be dropped off home because there was another customer. They never told me that this would happen: I was told that I would be dropped off if I failed. So, I had to cough up $22 to pay for a Lyft out of Lodi. With all that in mind, be wary that the scheduling is not set in stone that they may not drop you off home if you fail the exam.

Negative experience: Awful! The day of the practice with the instructor he was 45 minutes. The day of the test road appointment they picked me at home late and got late to my the test. Very bad experience with this driving school, careless and unprofessional. HIGHLY NOT RECOMENDED

Negative experience: I feel really disappointed with NJ driving school. Today my father had a road test & the instructor “Deigo” came an hour before the test. He took 4 people together at the same time with my father. I don’t know how those 5 gonna fit in that small car. It should be only one student with the instructor. After reading all the reviews you got, I didn’t expect this from you guys. I know you didn’t give me my money back but it’s really annoying. I don’t want to even give you one star but no choice.

Fantastic experience: A good driving school and highly recommended. Avoid Wayne DMV if you can. Lodi is much better. Their cars are clean, relatively new, and small, which makes parallel parking much easier. My son and daughter obtained their licenses with their help. They took 3 2-hour lessons and had 1 road test. Though they had different instructors each time, the teaching methods remained consistent. The instructors were nice and professional. Having said that, I still have a few complaints, but they don't stop me from giving them 5 stars. Make sure you call/text them 24 hours before the appointment. I missed a text and a call the day before the appointment, and it was canceled. They explained it's their company policy, which I understood. They don't want to idle the instructors and cars. However, 3 hours before the end of the day is not enough time to respond. On the day of my son's road test, the instructor called me 2 hours before the appointment and asked if my son could meet them in Lodi, as they had another student in the car. This would give both of them enough time to practice. To ensure my son's pre-test practice wasn't cut short, my wife drove him to the DMV. My daughter's road test was scheduled for 9:30 AM, and the company called me the day before, stating the instructor would be there between 7:30 and 8. However, the instructor didn't show up until 8:50. You can imagine how anxious we were before he showed up. Overall, it's a great driving school and highly recommended. You won't be able to find another one like them., but be prepared for the occasional curveballs.

Fantastic experience: I passed my road test today thanks to my instructor Melissa. This was my second time, I failed my first test and I had a bad experience with a different driving school. But this was a really good experience for me. My instructor Melissa was very nice and she made me feel comfortable about the test. She explained everything to me again again to make sure I got everything right. She also showed that she believed in me and she was very confident about me passing the test, which I believe is a really important thing especially for a student that is nervous before the test. I’m glad I found this driving school.

Fantastic experience: I’ve taken classes with a lot of schools before and by far this is the best one. I passed my road test in Lodi on the 1st try after trying 4 times with other schools. I recently took a 2 hour class with Alex just for practice and to gain more confidence & I can honestly say I feel 1000% more confident in driving (& I am a very anxious person). He made me feel very comfortable and encouraged me throughout the whole session. We practiced everything and even went on highways. He was on time & is a great conversationalist! Definitely would recommend him

Negative experience: The worst service ever. Be aware of them because they cancelled an appt at the last minute when that was made a month before. Worst manager on phone named Karen uncapable to find a solution blaming a client.

Negative experience: Although the lessons were fine they failed to tell us about the option of them taking you home right after the test and you going on your own to process your paperwork for your license or they leave you at DMV and you have to find your own way home they stranded my daughter there if we knew about the option I would have made sure I was there to pick her up very unprofessional!!

They were the only place that were willing to teach me so close to my road test & fit me in for lessons with no availability.They were able to teach me everything in less than 2 weeks before & I passed first try . Instructors are amazing ,very patient and great at What they do . I had most of my lessons & road test with Jaime & she was a phenomenal teacher . I also had a lesson with Diego and learned a lot from him as well . If you’re looking for a good driving school you found them!! I’ll be honest I was a little nervous having no experience before my lessons & they were very reassuring .. I don’t think I would’ve passed if I went somewhere else .. Jamie n Diego deserve raises fr .thank you guys again .

Negative experience: Paid $150 for my daughter to use their vehicle for her road test. They picked her up with 2 other girls who also had test. If I knew it wasn’t one on one I would have used of different company! Then the instructor left my child at the DMV after her test cause she didn’t know how long she was gonna be! I was at work and my daughter had to Uber home after I paid $150 for an hour. And to top it off they should get new instructors who aren’t rude!!!

Fantastic experience: I definitely recommend having them teach you how to drive. Best pricing. I took a 3 hour lesson and did a hour lesson. I only drove once in a different state until I took these lessons. Today I just took my road test and passed on my first try. They are a patient school and definitely make you comfortable especially if your nervous.

Fantastic experience: I didn't have time to take the practice class so I only had 20 minutes to practice before going to the exam with Melissa. She gave me tips before taking the exam. She is very professional. I passed the test in less than 10 minutes. The test was very easy. The thing that worries me the most is talking to strangers, but to her, she is very close to me. We talked on the way to the exam site. She can also speak Spanish. She made me very comfortable. I slept in the car while waiting to take the exam because I was so tired from work but she wasn't upset about it. Melissa is very dedicated.!!!! Thank you so muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. 2/7/2022

Roberto was my driving instructor and I definitely would have failed the test without him. He was very patient with me and cleaned up all my driving imperfections. Negative experience: I booked an appointment over a month in advance that stated I'm all set unless I cancel or reschedule within 24 hours. The night before I received a text to confirm the appointment which I did. The next day I received a call and was told the lesson was canceled because I didn't reply quick enough and they are busy. Very unprofessional!

Fantastic experience: Jamie is literally the best driving instructor in the world. She taught me parallel parking in 5 minutes, and that is something I was not able to learn quickly with other driving schools. After doing it with her, I never hit the curb once. She is so sweet and while talking class, she would try making me feel as comfortable as possible. Because of her, on the road test I was super confident and was not nervous that my testing instructor was trying to rush me a little. She kept telling me that I need to trust myself, and I listened to everything she told me to do, and she is literally the only reason I passed.

Fantastic experience: I passed my road test today!! This school is perfect. I tried out different driving schools and no one was better than this. Jamie is amazing. She breaks down everything nicely for you. She knows her stuff and she won’t get mad at you if you make mistakes, like other driving schools. I learned how to be a good driver from her. She is also an amazing person:) she really wants students to learn and doesn’t do it for the money. I really appreciate Jamie. I will definitely refer others to take classes here and specifically with her. Karen was also very nice. She always helped me adjust my schedule if needed. She was very polite. Fantastic experience: Thank you so very much i am so happy to pass the road test which seemed so impossible for me to even think i would pass i was so nervous because of failing in first road test but my instructors MELISSA, JP and ROBERTO were great and great teachers thanks all of you and special thanks to MELISSA for being such an inspiration to me and thanks for encouraging me she knows how nervous i was lol i am so happy finally passed the road test because of nj driving school you should definitely choose them to learn I didn’t knew driving at all i just took three classes and they taught me so well i was shocked myself and lastly I didn’t meet KAREN thanks alot karen to you alot because you scheduled my lessons eventhough your schedules were packed hope you all have a great day and i will refer eveyone i know who wants to learn driving of your school definitely ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

She was very patient with me and she made sure I understood everything. Karen took me to the road test today, with a little brush up practice before the actual test, and yes! I passed... Fantastic experience: I could not thank NJ Driving School enough for their help in getting me my license. Jamie was an incredible driving instructor who prepared me more than enough for my road test. As someone who has crazy anxiety, they were able to prepare me well enough that it did not prevent me from getting my license on my first try. I never thought I would get my license until I met them and they were thorough and very helpful when it came to asking questions. Highly recommend the one hour brush up before taking the road test which to me was critical to me passing my road test. Once again, a huge thanks to Jamie and everyone at NJ Driving School for the great work that you do. 10/10 Experience!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this driving school, Roberto was my instructor, and with only 2 practice runs, I passed the road test. Had me shocked myself, but definitely a good place to start for new drivers looking to pass confidently!
