Negative experience: Got stuck behind a yellow 864DRIVING vehicle this morning on 85N. Just an instructor, no student, going 50 in a 65 in the far left lane of 85 with no one in front of him. Just casually creating a traffic jam driving the same speed as cars to the right. I wouldn’t recommend this school because clearly they’re unaware of what a passing lane is. Spend a little less time on the phone and more time paying attention to your surroundings.

Fantastic experience: In my first driving lesson, my instructor, Mr. Bob, taught me all the basics of all four manoeuvres. Once I got the fundamentals down, we practiced them over and over and he always informed me of what to do better so that I may improve. Overall, he’s an excellent teacher and I recommend him if you’re looking to get ready for your road test.

Negative experience: Horrible experience!! We used them for my daughter a few years ago and it was great. However they have been completely unprofessional and even dangerous with my son this time around. His first lesson the CAR BROKE DOWN. The instructor left him ALONE on the side of the road in the car to wait for him to walk to his house and retrieve another (non drivers ed) vehicle. Then my fifteen year old with limited driving experience was expected to help steer the broke down car into a parking lot while the instructor PUSHED it with his PERSONAL vehicle instead of calling a proper towing service. Why in the world would this even happen? Why aren’t these vehicles better maintained and why would you ever leave a teenager alone on the side of the road? His next lesson the same instructor cancelled on him the morning of after my son was already up and waiting for him. He needed “surgery” well ok that’s fine but wouldn’t you know sooner than an hour before? We were then given a hassle about rescheduling saying pretty much if we couldn’t do this particular week it was gonna be three weeks or longer. We were already beyond frustrated at this point so asked to speak to management or to be switched to another instructor. The instructor became hostile and called my husband giving him a lecture about how the kids these days think they have nothing better to do and they expect the world to revolve around them. And my husband told him our son doesn’t expect anything but we expect professional service and I’m uncomfortable sending my son out with you when you’re acting this way. After MUCH more going back and forth we were finally switched to another instructor (we never were put in touch with management like we asked.). We still had to wait three weeks but the new instructor could do his second lesson and test him the same day. Great. The day came and the instructor seemed professional and competent. My son didn’t pass the test which was fine. We decided to let him practice for a week or so on our car and take him back to the DMV ourselves today. When they were arrived they were told that the instructor did not give them the correct paperwork for a fifteen year old to be able to test! My husband texted the instructor and she did bring it up there BUT it has a portion that has to be filled out by his high school and it’s a school holiday! So now he has to wait to be able to test AGAIN! We are beyond frustrating and disappointed that this experience which should be exciting and fun has been a disaster. They are more concerned with booking as many people as possible, even if it makes the wait times incessantly long, than getting their students processed in an efficient and professional manner, let alone making sure they are SAFE on their lessons. I would recommend you go ANYWHERE else but here!!! We are out hundreds of dollars and have lost valuable time because of their chaotic business model and unprofessionalism.

Karena, his driving instructor was so positive and friendly. My son always felt good about his driving after their lessons. He passed his test and we now have our second driver! Thank you 864
