Fantastic experience: This was the best decision we as parents have made. The entire process was great - starting from sign-up, payment, scheduling driving lessons etc. The best part was our son's instructor - Ms. Trishia - she was excellent. Very kind, supportive, extremely professional. Within 8 hours our son made huge progress. We feel confident that she helped him to become better driver. Thank you so much! We will come back with our daughter in 7 years.

Fantastic experience: I was a super nervous father trying to find the best driving school for my 16 year old daughter. 1ACT Driving School definitely addressed all of my concerns. Laurin & Felicia were very professional, comforting, and patient, answering all of my questions, scheduling convenient driving times, and even helped me surprise my daughter with a personalized driving school birthday letter. Trisha was my daughters driving instructor, and she is absolutely AMAZING! She obviously cares about safely teaching such an important skill. I highly recommend Ms. Trisha & 1ACT Driving School.

Fantastic experience: Moved from the UK so wanted to get comfortable driving on the American roads. Guled was my instructor and he did such an amazing job at getting me comfortable and ready for my road test. Super happy with the entire experience with Guled and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I never write reviews. But if you need to take a Risk/Reduction class in Atlanta area (particularly if you want a virtual class), this is the place. I had previously taken a class with North Buckhead school, the instructor was pure awful and the way the material was presented was robotic. The instructor here, Eric King, is great. The class felt personable and he seemed like he genuinely cared. The material was actually engaging. On top of that, he actually treats the class like adults, rather than *cough* Andrea *cough* over at North Buckhead. If you need to take a class, go here, and see if you can get in with Eric.

Fantastic experience: Extremely well organized and professional, and suitable for all age ranges. My lessons were split between instructors Christopher and Guled, and I would highly recommend both of them. If you want to learn to drive, look no further!

Fantastic experience: We hired 1ACT Driving School for my son's mandatory 6 hour driving instruction and for the GA State Road Test . 1ACT was able to do home pick up and drop off when other similar companies wouldn't. The instructors were very friendly and positive. Particularly Christopher. Denise was very helpful with scheduling and as the coordinator. And Ed, who conducted the driving test, helped my son's nerves by being very positive and supportive. It was a great experience for my 15/16 year old in all aspects

Negative experience: My husband took the 2 day online Defensive Driving course and the being of April and he has not received his certificate of completion. Everytime he calls the representative hangs up the phone, act like she can’t hear him, or transfer him to an extension just to be disconnected.

Fantastic experience: I had driving instructor Guled and it was a great experience! I took 10 hours as a complete beginner and passed the test at once. I feel pretty confident on the road too. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Horrible experience. Both drive u structures canceled/rescheduled driving lessons last minute repeatedly. Every person I spoke with would pass off the request. Would recommend yju find another driving school, cause this one was headache after headache.

Fantastic experience: I don't often write reviews, but for the excellent service I received from 1ACT driving school I had to make time and share my review. The service was excellent. From the ladies I spoke to over the phone to ask for information and to scheduling classes and the entire process. These ladies were fantastic. I beleive I spoke to about 3 different ladies. Excellent customer service including the constant email alerts to remind you of the sessions. Very helpful. I did 8 hours of driving lessons plus Road testing. Exceptional. My instructor GULED was amazing. He taught me everything that I was supposed to know and he made me feel comfortable. Guled was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. It was like having a friend of yours in the car who was teaching you how to drive. Keep up the good work. I passed my test and got my certificate. Also shout out to Ed, who administered my driving test. At first he looked intimidating, but once you get into the car with him, he made me feel relaxed. Thank you again to the entire staff!!

Fantastic experience: Rob Scott is the man. He’s patient, very encouraging and knowledgeable. If you see him for your instructor, get/be excited, he’s definitely gonna build your confidence and have you ready for the road test and to take on the road afterwards. Fantastic experience: The classes were educational and they made them engaging. But why I am writing this review is that I took classes here years ago and lost the certificate. To my dismay, GA must have misfiled all of the info they had on me and found out my license in the new state I live in was not eligible for renewal ON MY BIRTHDAY, so I needed the certificate. I am still trying to locate the other things I had to complete for court, but Ash made it A LOT easier on me today. Definitely recommend coming here for your courses. Thank you, Ash!

Fantastic experience: Yolanda Ford has excellent energy to teach the defensive driving course. While this curriculum is dull and sometimes hard to digest through the 6 hours, she will keep you engaged. Definitely is one of the sweetest and patient people I've met.

She humanizes an already antisocial system. She comes to work to improve the lives of others and not just to collect a check. Fantastic experience: Yolanda Ford was my instructor & I would highly recommend her! As you can imagine, a 6-hour class can get very monotonous. She did a great job of keeping us engaged, incorporating real-life stories/current events, and just letting her own personality shine through while going over the material. I learned a lot in the class & appreciate how Yolanda made it enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Yolanda Ford was a blessing as a defensive driver teacher. She is clear and personable and understanding. She truly wanted us to learn the material and she did her best to know each of us personally. I wish she could replace my college professors. I expected the worst of this class and she ended up distracting me from a terrible day. Much love Miss Yolanda.

Fantastic experience: I took the defensive drivers course with Yolanda Ford and had a great experience. Took the time to make sure every student understood each topic and got everyone engaged too. Great teacher and presenter, she knows how to get the point through and the job done.

Fantastic experience: I had a really great experience here at this location. I had to take a 7 hour class which is a dread, but the people at this location made it very enjoyable to be here. They gave me water and had a clean bathroom available which is always a plus. If you’re going to take a driving class this location is the place, Great people!!!

Fantastic experience: Benny was an incredible driving instructor! I learned how to parallel park and reverse park in just 2 lessons and was able to pass my driving test the first time in GA. I’m so appreciative for his teachings and explaining the logic behind the movements. I would highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I'm an Asian who had no reason to drive (or to learn to drive) in my country. Moved to the US last year. Before I enrolled in 1ACT's driving course, I had perhaps 15 hours driving practice with my friends here in Atlanta. While I DID know how to use the brake and the gas, I was super nervous, I didn't feel in control. I couldn't successfully reverse-park for once. The whole situation was scary. It put our family in a lot of stress, I really questioned my ability to ever get a license... This is a 5 star review, so you can easily tell what happened. Hell, I even passed the test (9x score) after only 2 sessions (4 hours) with Romario Atkinson. He was super friendly, very patient, gave a lot of tips - and most importantly, he helped build confidence. He helped me believe I can drive. I'd definitely recommend Romario to any one who's super nervous about passing the test like I was. As for the center itself, I actually never went there. The whole process of registering and scheduling was online, which is a huge PLUS - I hate getting on the phone and trying to spell my name and my license number etc. It was very simple and easy to do. The school did have to call me to remind about the contract signing. It was also online, very simple, and the lady on the phone seemed nice. Romario recommended me to book some defensive driving lessons. Will definitely do so, and if every instructor is as good as he is, I'm sure it will be very enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Eric King goes above and beyond when it comes to teaching the risk reduction class. If you need to take the course request him as your instructor. I have done the same class before (not with the same company or instructor) and it felt the longest three days ever and I learned nothing. This was the complete opposite, the care and compassion Eric combines with his knowledge is what set it apart for me. Some people go to work just to collect a check and that’s it, not Eric he is passionate about what he does and genuinely cares about people. If some one told me I would learn life changing skills and rethink my ways of thinking after a 20 hour course I would of never believed it. Eric is the type of man that can restore your faith in humanity and make you want to become a better person.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars across the board so far! I had a terrible experience with competitor (A-1) and reached out to ACT and Lauren was a gem to work with. She helped me schedule lessons right away and was so helpful, competent, and friendly. Looking forward to working with them.

Negative experience: I do NOT recommend Driving instructor Micheal Chu, because he clearly is not capable of training novice driving students properly. He lacks professionalism: would take phone calls on speaker during the driving lesson, did not introduce himself upon driving lesson, and would always give inappropriate smart Alec responses. Additionally, he lacks an immense amount of patience, adaptability, and understanding. When asked a question, he blew up on the student raising his voice, waving his hands, and responded in an agressive condescending manner. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional. 0 stars.

Fantastic experience: This driving school was a life saver for me, it was the only driving school that was available for me when I was looking for lessons last minute during summer and it has a variety of lessons and times available with multiple great teachers. I took lessons with Lucinda, Daja and Dan so far and they have all been extremely helpful and patient with me. They all have different styles of teaching which are all effective and time is always used efficiently toward learning a new skill or multiple skills each lesson. All these teachers are also extremely good listeners and always communicate effectively every time. Lucinda was the first teacher I had and she was extremely kind and patient while teaching me even though I had never been behind the wheel before. Daja was my second teacher and she was the first teacher I drove on the highway with. She helped me feel confident in my driving and taught me how to drive safely while staying in my lane. I’ve driven with her at night, during rain, on sunny days and long distances and done a great job every time thanks to her. She has a very calming presence as well as a very good personality and sense of humor. I’ve had most of my lessons with her and she perfected my skills in parking, changing lanes, and my general driving. Dan is also a really good teacher and preaches about making driving easier by being cautious and alert. He helped me make my driving instinctive and more smooth. He also subtly reminded me to always keep in mind turn signals, road signs, speed limits and red/yellow lights. Overall, based on my experience all of these teachers helped me become a better, more mindful, cautious and instructive driver. 10/10 & 5stars!

Fantastic experience: Family member just took a risk reduction course. Registration, office manager, and everyone were friendly and genuinely interested in the students. They have also really perfected the online registration and course process. Much more advanced than other schools we explored. If you are looking for a driving school for you or your family, i would highly recommend this school. Seriously, state regulates fees so all schools charge the same. So you literally can stop looking. Use these folks! Instructor was Eric. He was a fantastic coach!!

Fantastic experience: This is a great driving school for the beginners. I booked this school for my wife and she had a very good experience with her teacher Christopher. He is so patient and welcoming during every class. He also helped us in DUI office and was there until she had her license in her hand. I would definitely recommend this school

Fantastic experience: We had an excellent experience. My twin daughters attended the 30 hour in classroom drivers ed class. Ash was the instructor. The girls learned so much and had fun! They also had driving instruction with Ash, Felicia and Don. All were so helpful. Both girls passed the driving test on first try. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this business to all. They are also the most reasonably priced!

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful time learning to drive with Felicia Murphy. She is the best. She taught me everything quite comprehensively. Thanks to her, I passed my road test on the first attempt itself(which is rare I've heard). She makes sure you know everything u need to for the road test as well as for real life driving. She prepared me for both. Also, the lovely person that she is, driving was always fun with her. Loved every session. Thanks a lot Felicia. U are simply fabulous. For everyone out there, if u are looking for a driving instructor, book her. U will get your money’s worth and have a good time too. Cant praise her enough. But I guess i should stop here

When a business owner calls you himself, spends time answering all your questions and gives you his cell phone number, you know that this is probably a business you want to deal with. If you are nervous and inexperienced like me, get Christopher Drummond. Hell, if you are confident and experienced, get Christopher Drummond. Just get Christopher Drummond. He is a wonderful instructor and an even better person. I am fortunate to have met him.

Fantastic experience: Rasheed was my instructor and he did a great job teaching me to drive. I came to him with little to no experience, let’s just say ... my first time driving On the road was with him. I was super new to driving and he helped me relax and feel comfortable. I also did a few sessions with Indira and she really helped me with reverse parking. Thanks to them I passed my road test with a 90!!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience!! I talked to owner Ash for an extended time before sending my 16 year old to attend the 30 hour in person course. Ash was always pleasant, helpful, and quick to respond. Monica, the office manager is friendly and consistent ( EVERYONE is really) , the environment is safe and clean and they always have coffee available. My son really enjoyed the course throughout the 4 day split schedule and Dan, the instructor of the course was incredibly knowledgeable and very obviously LOVES his job. Dan made the course as enjoyable as it was enriching. I feel my son learned a lot about being an effective and safe driver that he will retain. 1 ACT is a GEM and a worthwhile investment. I'd recommend anyone and everyone to 1 ACT.

Fantastic experience: If I can I will give them 7 STARS I had great experience at 1 ACT driving school they have the best customer service in the business & Best Instructors. I love this school Awesome people with good attitude. When I came to Atlanta few months ago from Asia I did not know which was the best driving school… I shortlisted 3 driving schools from the Google search and called them and believe me when I say the reply I got from the other two driving schools was “Please go on our web site and read the details”. And only 1 ACT was the one driving school where Monica (who attended my phone) patiently explained me all the details and how to proceed with booking my lessens and how the web site works. She is the first person you interact with and she really sets the bar high. Going ahead just to clarify I know driving (I have been driving for last 25 years) but coming from Asia the driving side changed (Right side to Left side) the instructors Jermaine, Christopher, Guled were so friendly, patient and with clear instructions on how to handle change of side. I will trust them teaching my kids with the driving lessons. Ash who is the owner has awesome sense of customer service and always ready to help and accommodate. I am highly satisfied with 1 ACT and will use the services again. 1 ACT - Keep up the Awesome service standards.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful! My son was a VERY reluctant driver. Over the summer they helped him become a confident driver. He was extremely confident going to take his driving test. I was the only one who was nervous! Ash (the owner) and Ahmed are fantastic teachers. I cannot recommend them enough.

Monica at the front desk is always in a good mood and is so friendly. She is the first person you interact with and she really sets the bar. All the little details from the clean bathrooms, to the fresh coffee that is constantly brewing is what sets this place apart from other schools. Whether you are taking a course on your own or if you are being ordered to, doing so here is the way to go.

Fantastic experience: Honestly I think 1 ACT Driving School is one of the best places to learn about defensive driving and how to drive in general. They have great service and are really about making the customer happy. There are lots of availability slots for them when it comes to scheduling driving lessons, and their instructors are very understanding and worked great with me when i was driving. Fantastic experience: The one word that I can use to describe my experience with 1 ACT is "integrity." I was enrolled with a competitor and was in a continuous class reschedule loop. I was extremely frustrated and disappointed until I located 1 ACT via a google search. I called and spoke with Ash who was very personable and provided a great deal of helpful information. After speaking with him, I was completely sold and transferred my information over to him within minutes. To say the least, I was in his class within days. This was a great decision and a good experience. He and his entire staff were extremely personable. I highly recommend them and will say you will be pleased with your experience as well. Great facility with modern equipment.

Fantastic experience: I had to take my Risk Reduction class here!! So after I did a review of all local programs I've come to the conclusion that this was going to be the best and boy was I correct.. Ash is a very great person a honest joy to be around kind of lift your spirits up just a happy person! David is the instructor he is a really easy going guy! Hes really cool does his best to try to relate to you!He does a great job in bringing out the best in the class tries to get everyone involved!! Hats off to David he did a really great job and I can say this class isn't what I thought it was going to be!!! They they made it fun and they did a really great job

Fantastic experience: I took this class to get a discount on my car insurance which is really beneficial to me. 1 Act Driving school was very easy to work with. They have many class options to fit your schedule including weekends which is great for people who work and have limited time. The instructor was very helpful and knowledgeable and the class was able to be completed in 6 hours. The class was very instructive and was a very small investment to gain a significant discount on my car insurance. Overall- a great experience! Would recommend this school to anyone. They also teach Driving.

Fantastic experience: The BEST customer service anywhere. They are super friendly, the instructor was very nice and made the whole experience VERY pleasant. Everyone, the owner, the receptionist, were amazingly nice. They go ABOVE and BEYOND to make it an all around decent experience. I took the 20 hour Risk Reduction class and did my initial evaluation at their Lawrenceville location, but there wasn't a full class for the weekend that I needed to attend. So they transferred it to Sandy Springs, free of charge. I expected the weekend of class to be miserable, but it was not bad by any degree. HIGHLY recommended. I strongly doubt that you will find a better choice. A+++++!

Fantastic experience: This was a great experience. Ash was very helpful in aiding me with my driving skills. Because of ACT driving, i was able to achieve a score of 100 on my driving test. Definitely a great driving school.

Fantastic experience: This class was a great experience if you have to take the class. The place was clean and nice, the staff and instructor were helpful and made the material interesting. I had some real unexpected hurdles the week of class and they worked with me and even provide amazing lunch.

Fantastic experience: I have never experienced a DUI before Nor do I hope I ever do again But, this was a lovely experience. Staff is wonderful. Monica, Ash, Taresa- were all very accommodating and informative. I am in the restaurant industry so paying $355 and missing out on weekend money would've sucked 1Act offers weekday classes, which, nobody else does. There is fresh coffee in the mornings and long horn lunch was provided as well as adequate breaks. Facility is very clean and conveniently located. I am very satisfied with my choice in 1Act Driving School. Thank you guys!!! -Brittany

Fantastic experience: I have to say that this is really the best and #1 DUI school throughout the metro Atlanta area. I was looking all over other DUI schools but they are no where compared to 1st Act DUI school, which the environment is crisp, clean and friendly. All the learning materials were very well explained accurately through details shown on video as well as lectures and they even bought us lunch from Longhorns which is the best part ever. I want to give a shout out to the instructor, David who is very knowledgeable, lenient and informative. Also another shout out to the owner Ash Hodge, who made sure all the students were well taken care of throughout the three days in class. I have to say 1st Act DUI school, is indeed the best place to go to if you want and choose to complete your risk reduction program course.The staff is truly amazing!!! 5 Stars!!!

Fantastic experience: If I had to do another DUI class, I'd just do this one again. It was a comfortable place, they entire staff tries to work with you. Very cheerful place. Allen was a great instructor and the lunches were great for a great price you wouldn't believe.

Fantastic experience: There are many reasons why I would recommend 1 Act DUI and defensive driving school. First off there was an easy registration process, also the staff and environment was friendly and welcoming, plus the instructor was knowledgeable and kept you engaged. The main reason for this recommendation is because I have a New York State drivers license and I was having a problem with getting my paperwork to Georgia DDS for reinstatement of my license because they only accept original documents "no third party faxes" and 1 Act director personally assisted me with everything that I needed with no hassle. The owner and fellow workers were more than accommodating and I thank them for that. Sometimes good customer-service is hard to find.

Fantastic experience: Honestly best service ever, the instructor was great! The whole course was very much understanding! The instructor really hit the pin point on the subjects, and he was very out going. Hopefully no more tickets for me, but totally recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: I cant say enough about 1 Act DUI School. Ash was very friendly and made the three days enjoyable. My instructor was Teresa Johnson and she was so kind, she made the experience great. If you have the misfortune of taking a DUI class do not go anywhere but 1 Act. Great People

Fantastic experience: Great experience at 1Act. I went in for a 2 hrs behind the wheels driving course and the Ash really went out of his way to make it a great learning experience he tried to cover all the points in 2hr session. I liked his professionalism and had the best price compared to others in the market. I highly recommend 1ACT.

Fantastic experience: I recently attended this for a DUI course and I must say I enjoyed each day I went. The instructor David for the class was very informative. I learned a lot and look to apply it to each day that passes ash was definitely a good host as well. One more thing I definitely enjoyed my time there thanks for making 20hrs worthwhile.

It was a great refresher to defensive driving tactics I had forgotten about over time and brought me more in touch with new dangers as well. Fantastic experience: Undoubtedly the best driving school in Dunwoody area, with excellent staff, well-maintained cars, best & most-competitive price. One of the best thing about their price is the flat $45 per hour that nobody offers in Atlanta. It's a deal. Ash is a gentleman and provided lot of good suggestions while driving. Don't look elsewhere. Five stars from my end for being completely satisfied with their service.

Fantastic experience: I procrastinated this whole past month registering for my class and Ash remained professional and got me in his class last minute, he's a blessing!! And the Sandy Springs office is surrounded by restaurants for your lunch break, highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: To put it simply. if you need to take a Risk Reduction class, this is the only place you should go. Not only is the facility clean and well organized, Ash and Monica make you feel like an old friend. The instructor I had this past weekend, Chris, was excellent! No one chastises you and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable - from flat screen TVs to comfy chairs. Thanks for everything, Ash!

Fantastic experience: Ash is the instructor of my Defensive Driving course and he made the 8 hour class feel more like 4. I took the class only to reduce a ticket. He didn't have to, but he went out of his way to buy us lunch during our break. Fantastic experience: This school is great. I had only a few times of driving experience and no idea how to drive in the state, so I took driving lesson with Ash. He is super nice guy. Fantastic experience: As some of you may know, getting a DUI or any other traffic ticket can be stressful. From court to DUI class, maybe even jail time. Getting a DUI was the scariest thing I have ever experienced. Act DUI school was informative and comfortable. The instructor, David is very knowledgeable and non-judge-mental. Fantastic experience: DONT LOOK ANY FURTHER!!! By far the best DUI class in the Atlanta area. Ash is a great host and offers all of the amenities. Coffee,snacks, whatever you want. Not to mention Longhorn for lunch. The teacher David was great as well. He kept the class entertaining and enjoyable.
