Experiencia positiva: The opening time for this place is Mon - Fri 8:30 am - 5: 30 pm Don't bother going without an appointment, they will let you know it's appointment only with a really bad mood. Go better to the one on downtown, that accepts walk-ins

Experiencia negativa: You know it is another classic Illinois government facility when you come home from renewing your license and immediately file a complaint with the Inspector General. After carefully and thoroughly reading through the required proof of residency acceptable document, I brought in 4 (only require 2) because I had been told by several friends that they will not accept the ones listed on the website half of the time. Sure enough, they only accepted my 1/4 documents and required me to go to the UPS store to print another, resulting in me wasting paper and money on unnecessary additional documents and wasted another 30 minutes in line even though it is by appointment only. I spoke with the manager about how my document was not acceptable even though it checked every box (from a federal government agency, postmarked within 90 days, listed my full, listed full address -and even had my date of birth!). Her response was “technically if does and we could try to submit it but then you’d just get a rejection letter and have to come back. We are just trying to save you time”. I urge them to think about that- I took the time to thoroughly read their requirements only for them to deny their own requirements. Terrible service.
