Experiencia negativa: Great service, great staff; not for me. I have some track experience and felt that the drives were too limiting. No where on the online site do they say that you cannot use the full length of the track. But when you get here the expectation, for me, at least, changed. This caused me to regret spending the money for the experience. If you have track day experience, maybe do something else, if not then this is great!
Experiencia negativa: Used to be fun 10 or so years ago (I drove a McLaren MP4-12C). Now the instructors tell you to stay 3 feet from the edge of the track, tell you to brake WAY TOO EARLY, and in general distract you from driving the track the way it should be run because they keep insinuating that there will be a fee for a violation. I drove the Lamborghini Huracan, Ferrari 296, and the Porsche GT4. Different instructors for each. All instructors for each did the same thing.
Experiencia fantástica: incredible time. definitely going to be doing this again!
Experiencia fantástica: My son and I had a wonderful time at Xtreme Xperience. We went to the Hedge Hollow Raceway in Adrian, Missouri. --I can tell you that while expensive, I can see why it costs what it did. There had to have been 40-50 employees working hard to make the experience such a fun one. A couple to check you in, at least one at the training class, 1 handing out hoods for under the helmet, a couple handing out helmets & putting them on you, 1 at the gift shop, at least 1 taking the helmet off you when it was time, a few manning the lines, making sure you are in the correct one, & ready to go when your turn it up, & letting you know which car to head to. There were also the drivers & instructors in each car and & the handlers to escort you to the car & ensure that you get buckled in, seat positioned perfectly for you & your flash drive inserted. There were 2-3 people to check you out at the end of your drive, to check your flash drive & let you know where to get your photos if you bought a pkg. And of course mechanics & others behind the scenes! --The check-in process was a bit long, as there were a lot of people checking at that time, & it was in the sun. That was a slight negative. The line moved reasonably quickly, but a sunshade would be a big plus. The check-in people gave you your appropriate car tags on your lanyard, & gave you a flash drive, also on a lanyard. The car tags told if it was a ride along or a drive, & which line you would be in. --Once through check in, you were directed to a garage where they had a film & instructor taking you through all of the things you need to know. It was a little bit nerve wracking with all the instructions, but in the end, it was really not that hard to remember. There are radios in the helmets and they are excellent quality. I have some ear issues and I had no trouble hearing or understanding my instructor. The hand signals also were easy to understand, as were the colored traffic cones on the track. You should pay attention closely to the information they are giving you, though. It is important. --Once through the class, you are directed to a double line, where they hand you the hood, and ensure you are in the correct line for either ride along or drive. Once you get to the end of that line, you go to the line for your car. All the lines moved fairly quickly. --Just a note, I didn't know they had water bottles in coolers for us. I missed that somewhere, but was pleased to find out when I was getting thirsty that I was shown the free, cold waters. --I went on my ride-along first, and Chris was my driver. He was awesome and fun, and he made sure to teach me what he was doing as he did it, so I learned the track and a good idea how to drive it. --No sooner than I had finished my ride along, I got some water, and then got in a very short line for my drive experience. My Instructor was T.K. He was also awesome. He was clear in his hand signals and spoken instructions. The Ferrari was fantastic to drive, and I got used to it pretty quickly. I really enjoyed my time in it! I hated for it to end! --I was surprised that there were several cars driving on the track at the same time. Sometimes both ride alongs and drive experiences at the same time. But, they are very safety conscious and ensured that any passing of cars was done without any problems. As drivers, we only focus on the track, cones and the hand signals, our instructors monitor the mirrors and other cars actions. The track was nice and wide, so no one should have an issue going off the track if you are following instructions. --A big con was the portapotties. This may or may not be anything within Xtreme Xperience's control at this track. There were some permanent buildings there, but either they didn't have restrooms or they weren't available for the customers. They did have hand washing stations with soap, water and paper towels nearby, so that was appreciated. --All in all, I felt that this was a well run business, intent on making your experience as awesome as it can possibly be.
Experiencia fantástica: Extremely fun, your allowed to lean on the cars within the rules. I did the drive the fleet at the Milwaukee Mile and my team mate was Mark and I enjoyed the one on one coaching. If I could I would have stayed there to spend money all day. Absolutely recommended to all car enthusiasts.
